We arrived at 2pm and greeted by the Ken owner of the property who helped us with our baggage to our stunning Poolside Suite, the property is an Oasis hidden in a back street of Perth suburbs and what a delight, our room was overlooking the lovely pool, not a large pool but perfect for the size of the property, had a dip which was cold but nice and refreshing, also had nice sun loungers and a very pretty landscaped garden, very relaxing and quiet, there was also a gorgeous covered sitting out area with lovely comfy furniture, what more could you want, maybe better weather, but it was spring and no one can control that lol The room was gorgeous, with a large comfy king size bed , lovely decor and great facilities in the room, really couldn't fault anything, The property is in a quiet side road and only a minutes walk to a regular bus stop that serves Perth City which is only a 10 minute bus ride away, All in all a wonderful stay in a stunning location with superb accommodation , highly recommended and very reasonable price for what is offered !!

I booked this hostel for 3 nights and I stayed for 3 months. It's definitely the THE BEST HOSTEL IN PERTH ! the staff is amazing, so nice, so caring, so friendly, and so helpful! Charlie, the owner, even helps travelers to find jobs and is always making arrangements to satisfy everyone. This place is like home. The bathrooms, Kitchen, and Common area are always clean! It's 100% what I expected to find in a hostel and the people I met there are now real friends. I miss this place already and I can't wait to come back after doing my 88 days. I would recommend it 10 000x if you want a real hostel life experience! thanks the shiralee team, you made y stay in Perth way better!

The hotel lobby is beautiful, worthy of 5 stars. there are very handy automatic doors to help you navigate with luggage, the staff help with check-in plus new auto check-in machines to make the process quicker. Free apple juice was a nice touch after a long journey. The staff were excellent, very helpful and professional. Parking for the night at $20 was great and the parking lot is spacious. The rooms are very functional and comfortable with everything you need, plus clean and light. This hotel punches well above its star rating and we will definitely return.

This was an unexpected visit.  We had booked a comedy show at the Brisbane Hotel but couldn't even get inside to get a meal prior to the show so we walked to the Northbridge Hotel. This is an unassuming hotel but surprising good. We ordered food and drinks and all thoroughly enjoyed the food.  Drinks were also great with specials offered and at reasonable pricing. There were a reasonable amount of people here but it was a great spot for a chat and something to eat.  Will be returning.

This place is perfect if you need a cheap room to attend functions in the Mount Lawley area. The price made it cheaper than an Uber there and back so it was a no brainer. It’s nothing fancy but the rooms are safe and comfy and you won’t find better value for money. The room was large and the shower was hot. Towels need updating and the digital TV channels didn’t work, but we enjoyed it. No tea/coffee/milk or soap in the room so take yr own. Our only real gripe was that checkout is strictly 9.30am. 99% of places are 10am. Doesn’t seem like much but on a rare weekend without kids that extra sleep in is valuable 😀. Would definitely stay here again for inner city functions.

From making the reservation it all seems great, until you check in. The front door is piled with leaves, great welcome. I thought the place was closed down. On entry into room, lights were off so no welcome experience when arriving on night fall. Found the light switch, be that it was cracked and took some effort to switch on. Toilet seat was broken, after 4 nights stay and being reported, still not fixed. Bathroom sink spout was loose and dangling in basin. My hubby simply reached under sink and tightened with his own hands and fixed. Shower recess does not have a soap dish or anything to put your showering products on, the floor it was. Walks marked, chipped and in need of minor repairs. Kitchen is quaint. Microwave has remains of a prior guests food within it. Every plate, bowl and coffee cup was soiled with food remains. No COVID clean at all. The trash bin is 2.1lts in size. So don’t think about putting trash in it. A golden circle juice bottle is bigger. Dining chairs are well used and not vacuumed or cleaned. Otherwise housekeepers would of found the $50 note in one of the chairs and the opened condom wrapper in the other chair. One chair has springs popped out on bottom and nearly touching the carpet. Oh the carpet, yes nice dark colour, put a real vacuum cleaner has touched it properly in a while. Moved the lounge chair and found an Easter egg. Not sure if it was cavity range from 2018 or 2021? Bedside lights gloves were both blown. Reported but nothing happened nor was rectified during our stay. Nice touch with complimentary water in fridge. But tacky that water says Officeworks brand on it though. The mattress is described as a Queen bed, well it is two small singles pushed together and just horrendous to sleep on. With some love and attention this could be a great Apartment Hotel, but gather manager doesn’t have control as the service and cleanliness is letting this property down. Will we be back, probably not. Will the manger care about our review, probably not. Will the housekeepers have cleaned our room correctly after we had left, probably not. Will others wish to stay after reading our review, no idea. We suggest the manager stays in every room overnight and experience what we paying guests have to endure.

The room was small. Don’t expect a big room. The water heater was good I must say! Do not have to worry about worrying to bathe in cold water during winter. The sink layout was impossible to use without wetting the floor at all!! All in all a simple clean room with 24h check in and luggage storage. Location was a 5 mins walk to the Perth station! Very convenient! Nothing to complain about except the sink I must say 🌚 oh yes, pls bring hangers. There was rly no wardrobe to hang our clothes 🤣

The hotel is very nice but unfortunately I was in a room that was extremely close to a very loud night club/venue. This only went quiet around midnight on a Sunday. I was offered a change of room late in the evening - at 11pm - but that was both impractical and largely pointless by that stage. Note that small rooms - at least - don't include a fridge or any coffee/tea making facilities. The dining room covers this to some extent.

Both me and my son enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Although its more like a 'clubbing' area, I feel it is still safe and I have a child with me. And its just two of us. Staffs are friendly and hotel is at a good location. Room is well maintained, clean and comfortable. We had good 4 night of sleep! View from our room is fantastic. Breakfast was good too. Will definitely return again!
