Kids loved feeding animals and they had so much fun. Angela was really good. We really appreciate Angela for introducing with animals and showing them and feeding them. We highly recommend this place for families with kids. Great valley views as well. Place was neat and clean. Thank you so much h Angela and Brad.

Having never been to a bed & breakfast, I decided to book something new for my partners 50th. I could not have chosen a more perfect setting. The accommodation was so comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Our host Kim was so friendly and the best chef ever! I had been in contact prior to our stay and booked a 3 course meal for dinner on my partners birthday. It was perfect. The meal was absolutely amazing. So delicious. Breakfast the next day was equally sensational. We are both so glad we chose Buttercup Hill for this occasion. Highly recommend. Thank you Kim!

Our 1 bedroom villa was clean and spacious overlooking the large pond that contained various water birds and at least 5 frog species that we could hear calling into the night. Breakfast (eggs, bacon, bread, juice, cereal) a bottle of wine and chocolate were in the villa when we arrived. The restaurant was also of high standard. All staff, at reception and in the restaurant were efficient and friendly. I'd love to stay again for the view over the pond with the vineyard in the background, the large, clean villa, comfortable bed, large shower and the sound of the frogs in the evening. Only thing I'd like to see improved is the showerhead which was of a standard I'd expect to find in a budget motel.

Family of 5, 3 young kids (2,5,7) and we had the most amazing stay. The park it very well keep and had everything. Bounce pillows, great little playgrounds, a bike track that our guys loved! Heated pool. The river and wildlife was just beautiful as well. We had the powered ensuite site and it was a great location that backed onto the Forrest, the ensuite was also very well kept and presented. One of our favourite parks so far. Thank you!

After a great day exploring the Yarra Valley we stayed one night at this beautiful property, Emerald Ridge, in the Guest Room. As soon as you turn up the driveway you know you're in for a treat. The hosts greeted us on arrival and showed us all we needed to know about the room. You're then left in peace to really enjoy the modern, well designed and spacious accommodation which is also right in the heart of nature. The room featured a king size bed, a lounge area with two comfortable chairs, a small table for two, a large TV (which can rotate to any direction in the room), books, magazines, chess board, a luxurious bathroom with two shower heads, a large spa bath, and a small kitchenette with toaster and microwave. There is air conditioning and a gas fireplace depending on your needs. There was a lovely bottle of sparkling wine and a block of chocolate in the room, as well as everything you needed for breakfast - bacon, toast, an assortment of cereal, fresh fruit and peach cups, yoghurts, orange juice, milk, spaghetti and baked beans and an assortment of spreads. We had visited wineries and cheese producers, went fruit picking, went to Emerald Lake Park and to Healesville Santuary, but both my husband and I agree that our favourite part of the trip was enjoying the sparkling wine and cheese and crackers on the day we arrived, sitting on our own private balcony, looking over the farm with the rain falling through the trees at the end of the balcony. If you're looking for a little piece of heaven - this is it.

Can not rate this place and experience high enough. Truely felt like being transported to another world (think living your best Beatrix Potter life) despite only being an hour away from the city. 🌸 🦜🐿️🌹🍃 The decadent interiors of the suite amongst the most beautiful grounds/garden made for the most perfect stay. The jacuzzi style tub was an absolute treat to soak in with the lounge TV perfectly within viewing, along with the log fireplace! 🔥🪵 The four poster bed was also beyond luxurious with the most breath taking views from the window. Arina & Alex were wonderful hosts providing a fully stocked fridge (ingredients for multiple hearty farm breakfasts - eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, avocado, yoghurt, muesli, fresh orange juice, coffee/tea) along with even arriving to a freshly baked loaf of bread (still hot with butter)! 🍞 There was even mini ice-creams in the freezer. The antipasto board I’d ordered as an extra treat was also 10/10. They’d thought of everything and the place was impeccably clean. I feel so inspired after staying at such a beautiful place to continue to replicate as many of the awe inspiring touches in both my home and routine from interior/planting inspiration to self care. The staff were absolutely fantastic to deal with right from the get go. We booked accommodation here six months ago for a music festival which then got rescheduled. I had to change the booking dates for our stay and it was no trouble at all for the staff. They were always kind and courteous and helpful. The park itself is so well maintained and beautiful to look around in. The cabin was very clean. It was 34 degrees during our stay and the air conditioner and ceiling fan kept us cool and comfortable. It was an added bonus that the tv had YouTube and netflix.
