I had lunch today in Hotel Eticos restaurant with a group of 17 people for a Yuletide Celebration. The thoughtful little touches of Christmas decorations, little iced Christmas cakes on the table & home made star cookies hanging on the tree completed the beautiful ambiance, along with the cozy fire!. We had a 2 course set Yuletide menu. The food was of generous portions & was absolutely delicious. Dietary restrictions were not a problem & our lactose & dairy free member was well catered for. The service was spectacular. The staff were extremely friendly & nothing was too much trouble. We were all very well looked after. All of our group had a wonderful time. Thank you Lona, Max, Bill & all the staff who helped to make our day special. Kerry, Blackheath Probus.

We had to make a one night visit to Blackheath and there are few establishments that will only take an overnight stay on a Friday. How lucky were we to get the opportunity to stay at the Gardeners Inn Hotel. We chose a family room with ensuite and arrived on a chilly afternoon to a well heated room. Even the electric blankets had been thoughtfully turned on. The room was clean, pillows soft, spacious clean bathroom.....all in all a very comfy room. Had a fabulous pre dinner drink by the fire downstairs, wonderful steak dinner and ended up singing karaoke in the bar. What a great night we had. We would come and stay here again for the opportunity to have everything on hand. An evening of perfection. Thank you to the kind helpful staff as well.

Brilliant little motel, clean, walking distance from amenities, cafes and pubs. The owner was really nice. We were attending a wedding and she kindly printed off a speech for us! Parking in front of the rooms, fridge / kettle / minibar and a few tv channels. Relatively new bathroom with walk in shower. Would definitely recommend

Stayed two nights, mid week, in a loft room. Check-in was friendly and efficient and all information relating to room location and on site restaurant given. Was very impressed with room, for a loft it was very spacious, very clean and well furnished. As there appeared to be very few people staying during my visit it was super quiet and relaxing. Housekeeping was excellent, cannot fault this place and would have no hesitation staying here again.

Nice public area/bar that doubles as reception. Large room with king bed. No cupboard, so nowhere to hang clothes, so cant unpack if staying multiple nights. The shower is very good, and the bed very comfortable. Cleaning was a bit inconsistent, on the 2nd day my bath mat and hand towels were taken but not replaced. Cold wet bathroom floor for 24-hours. The included continental breakfast is ok, if a bit bread heavy. Some cereal and fresh juice would be a simple addition to make it very good. The attached restaurant is up market, very nice but pricy. There is a sports club across the road if you want a cheaper eats. It is 20-mins walk to town for other options. It was fine and would stay again.

Everything was fantastic, from the first point of contact (phone call to Jess) to our arrival greeting. The whole property is absolutely stunning, beautiful gardens & surroundings. Great separation of areas for family’s and the couples hideaway only area. Within the Yurt-style accommodation, everything you need is there. Even a little treat for the occasional nocturnal possum visitor. It’s a spacious accommodation with outside area all around. Fully equipped kitchen, a very comfy bed, a lovely spacious spa & a fire place. It’s a real hideaway, feels so private and away from the world, even though it’s only a couple km’s away from Blackheath shops and cafes, and Evans lookout at the end of the road. We had chosen the property as our honeymoon and we feel to have made a great choice. So looking forward to returning there again.
