Lovely 2 bedroom cabin with separate ensuites. Full kitchen and lounge area with nice wide balcony with a day bed. Couldn't be happier. Quite corner on soldiers point peninsula. Receptionist was lovely. Very much enjoyed our stay. Comfy beds and clean sheets. Very nice indeed.

What a fantastic park! We had a wonderful time. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any queries we had. We stayed in a cabin, the cabin was lovely and clean, had all the cooking utensils and full size fridge. Comfy beds. Cabin had a bath which was handy for our toddler. The park has a indoor and outdoor pool. We only used the indoor pool as it was still a bit cold & raining and the indoor pool was great we went early in the morning and had it to ourselves. The park has great play areas for kids. A indoor soft play style for toddlers, jumping pillow and outdoor play equipment. We saw there is a bowling alley too we didn't get a chance to try it. Hopefully next time we visit. Great location next to a bowling club and the beach across the road. We had a fun time, looking forward to visiting again soon.

We were there Friday and Saturday night just for Rick Stein restaurant didn’t do a lot of with the hotel Cheeky Dog was ok for Friday night till 23:00 Cold breakfast was ok very standard any hot food extra charge Level 3 room 301 has the view of the water the king room is large and comfortable Bathroom is spotless Comfortable but can feel my partner turning etc. but ok

I love the place . The staff were very friendly and professional The are in general is a bit quiet and shops and restaurants close very early

We had never visited Lemon Tree Passage before and we were a bit sceptical, however, we were absolutely delighted with our find. Lillian and Jason do an amazing job, they have owned this motel for approximately 3 years now and have 3 small children, 1 five and twins aged 3. During this time they have managed to completely refurbish the motel to what I would call a five star standard. The bathroom is simply stunning and the kitchenette is extremely clean and nice. Everything has been catered for and nothing is too much trouble for them. Having the bowling club next door is an added bonus and we visited there for dinner. The meal was lovely and at $15 for a rump steak, salad and chips there were no complaints. I can't recommend this motel enough.

This is my second time staying at The Oaks with 5 other families. We love this place, especially that the kids are able to jump into the pools from the balcony. It is a clean resort, however daily cleaning services are lacking and we had to follow up with them to make sure our apartments were cleaned. It’s location is great if you need to buy groceries, but must drive to reach a beach. Parking is easily available, which made it easy for my family which includes two individuals with disabilities. The resort accommodates to fun activities like inflatable boats in the pool. The restaurant has some delicious fries, pizza and drinks Jacuzzi in the apartment means you enjoy the bubbling hot water reassured it’s CLEAN without any

Great customer service & WiFi. Spa Cabin was a great size, beds very comfortable, great park, walks and views. Swimming pool looked great but too cold for us - undercover parking Cabin was older style and had been partly renovated, and some areas disappointing, very small tv with many channels audio only, bathroom dirty seemed to be dirt coming in from roof. Rusty fittings, blinds too small for window in bedroom, Lounge very uncomfortable- 2 seater for 4 berth cabin. Should be great when renovations are completed.

I don't recommend it for small families(who have young kids).. i booked 2 bedrooms appartment and when i got there i got shoked for the bedroom how far were from each other , one bedroom upstairs and one down stairs , i don't understand how they do something like that, my kids had to sleep on the sofa bed because i won't leave them sleep that far from me. When i booked it i didn't know that and when i asked them if they can change the room for me they said that's only what we have we don't have 1 bedroom appartment only 2 , i don't understand how come hotel like this hotel only have 2 bedrooms apparment , how come if couples want to book a 1 bedroom apparmtent ??

Great hotel on the esplanade Nelson Bay. Sarah on reception was a delight to deal with throughout my 2 night stay. Room was adequate size, enough for two. Bedding was comfortable with the best pillows. I was room 4, first floor with a balcony providing southeast views to the marina. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower has strong water pressure. Big screen smart TV with all the necessary apps. Heated pool was a bonus !! Tip if staying on the first floor southern wing you can walk through the pool area to the rear car park therefore not having to utilise the steep stairs from the street level. I would definitely stay again. Good value hotel
