Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar in Bereich von „The Rocks“. Dadurch ist man zwar mitten im Geschehen, aber es kann auch schon mal lauter werden. Im Zimmer ist dies auch bei geschlossenem Fenster zu hören. Am Wochenende auch gerne bis mindestens 4 Uhr morgens. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und beinhaltet sogar eine kleine Küche. Es gibt zwar genug Steckdosen jedoch sind diese an eher ungünstigen Stellen (keine direkt am Bett und unter dem Schreibtisch hätten man größere Umbauten vornehmen müssen). Ansonsten funktionierte alles und das Wifi war gut. Die Qualität der Lärmdämmung ist für die Lage ungenügend. Ansonsten funktionierte alles und das Wifi war gut. Es gibt einen im Innenhof gelegenen Pool. Das Hotel bietet keinerlei Restauration. Es gibt aber genug Möglichkeiten in der unmittelbaren Umgebung sowohl für das Frühstück wie auch sonst. Der Wunsch die Rechnungsadresse zu ändern konnte vom Personal während des check-out nicht umgesetzt werden.
This hotel is in a great location and has a lot of character and charm to it. I enjoyed its convenience to some of Sydney's main attractions and appreciated the boutique nature of the hotel. Unfortunately, I had a pretty frustrating experience with the rooms that I was assigned. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and ended up in 3 different rooms. The first room did not have working heat, which was necessary on a very cold evening. The staff kindly found another room for me which was great for that evening. After getting back to that room the next day after the day's activities, the room smelled like sewage. When I let staff about the issue, I was a little surprised that they didn't seem surprised by this news. They did, again, kindly find me another room (which was much larger than the previous two). While I appreciated being accommodated so that I had a room with a comfortable temperature that did not smell, I was really disappointed by the inconveniences I experienced having to pack and move rooms multiple times. I asked to please speak with a manager to discuss the issues, and I was told they would email me to let me know when I could speak with someone. I never heard back from anyone and was not offered any compensation or discount for the issues. Again, the hotel is in a great location but I wish I could have enjoyed my experience staying there more.
Breakfast buffet was over priced for the poor quality and cooking technique of the food amateurish.
Pillows were terrible like they’d been run over several times by a large truck, two nights of not sleeping were due to this and the late night noise coming up the building from pedestrians and the pub on George Street.
Positives were location, location, location. Other than that a very tired outdated building on the inside, needs a renovation to meet with the times.

Located in The Rocks, walking distance to Circular Quay. Need to be a mountain goat to walk here, especially with luggage. Once dropped off, explore the beautiful Rocks area. I caught the train to Circular Quay, where the Opera House and Harbour Bridge is. Then walked up many, many stairs to get here. Well worth it. Very modern, even though it's built over an archaeological site of part of the old Rocks area. Beautifully done and preserved. Room was very modern and clean, albeit expensive for a double ensuite room. But i did not mind paying for the location and cleanliness. Bathroom modern and clean. Lockers available for long term hire. I can not rate it highly enough The rooftop of this hostel!!?? Absolutely second to none. Perfect views of the Opera House, Bridge and harbour
Best view in the world , even better customer service and bar much more attentive really enjoy visiting here but feel this year it was even better just a great location , friendly staff from concierge through to the guys at the rear entrance just great
As a frequent attender, I'm very happy to see this Hotel's facilities has all been renewed very nicely. The service provided by the team was kind and friendly.
I recommend choosing the harbour-view rooms, especially the larger one for best experience.
I like old style hotel, the room is quiet, my bed is very comfortable😀. The only thing is need to climb to hotel as I am not driving I use public transport.
Excellent location, easy transportation lots of food options around.
