The positives were the hotel staff, who were very accommodating and attentive, and the convienant free shuttle bus to and from the airport. The location itself is an ideal distance from the aiport, however it is quite old, with long, unattractive hallways of old red brick, which smelled of cigarettes and mustiness. The communal areas were extremely limited, as though an afterthought, and I can not imagine anyone actually using them, so they're likely just for show, but it doesn't look inviting. The view from the back side of the hotel looked out through some low trees to a dirt field, which is fair enough for a 3-star hotel, however there seems to be a large amount of (guard?) dogs being kept in a fenced area on that property only 40 metres away from the hotel, and they bark constantly, day and night, with peaks of extremely excited barking which is noticeably loud and hard to ignore. There were an old pair of dirty shorts clumped in the hotel's yard, right below the balconies and tree-line, which was a bit off-putting to see. There is not much around the hotel in walking distance, including public transport, so expect to use taxi or uber unless you want to walk extended distances. Generally, the hotel was serviceable for an overnight stay. However, I do not recommend staying here for any more than an overnight layover. It was not a comfortable or enjoyable experience, and best used for budget stays only. The age of the hotel is very evident in its cramped and dated design.

Ideal for one night stay with an early flight booked. Management friendly and courteous . Taxi was ordered for us because the shuttle service starts at 7am which didn’t suit our early departure. Our room was immaculate with all facilities provided including complementary biscuits to have with our tea.. not often seen these days ✔️comfortable bed which provided a good nights sleep even though we had to get up at 5am. Highly recommend for anyone needing to be 5 minutes drive to Tullamarine.

With an early flight the next morning from Tullamarine and 2 young kids we decided to try the mantra and save the early morning drive and it was great. Great service and staff the facilities are exceedingly and we’d definitely recommend staying there.

Booked the hotel based on the fact that a shuttle bus operated to the hotel. This was on a free cancellation if cancelled 24 hours prior to the stay. Inside 24 hours a notificatiion came through advising that the shuttle bus stopped operating at 7.30pm. We then were required to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Upon arrival we enquired about breakfast and was told it was 'in there' and continental only. We wanted to book the suttle bus back to the airport and was told that the shuttle bus does not operate on a weekend but they would be able to arrange a taxi when reception opened at 8am the following morning. The next morning, no reception staff, so we were forced to flag a taxi down that was passing by, who charged us $50 (no meter) to get back to the airport. For an airport hotel this is less than satisfactory to not have transport. Had the email advising no shuttle bus been provided earlier, I would have cancelled and rebooked somewhere suitable but alas it was sent inside the cancellation period.... how convenient.

Rooms are within a Pub, Restaurant, function centre and surprisingly quiet. 8 minutes in Uber to Airport for $20, was still a saving of about $130.00 of the cost of Airport Hotel we usually stay at so definitely staying here again. Bed comfortable and fantastic rain shower. Complementary water bottles and because we booked direct we received free breakfast packs and free drink each in the bar... Small issue in our room was quickly rectified by the Lovely Sarah, who also checked us in, very efficient.

Anda akan dijemput di lokasi tetap Lelaki yang menjemput anda akan mengatakan bahasa Cina, dan ia juga boleh dihantar ke stesen kereta api untuk ke pusat bandar pada keesokan harinya Pengalaman keseluruhannya sangat bagus!

Great facilities, room was really comfortable and spacious. Great buffet breakfast. The gym had the minimum of what you would need to get a nice sweat up if needed. Handy little bar downstairs as well that was really enjoyable.

Arrived at the airport at midnight and stayed here just for a night on arrival. The room was more spacious than I expected, kind of too big for one person. Clean enough, comfortable bed, enough amenities. One thing, when I got to the hotel, the door was locked because the receptionist was out for the airport to drive some guests. I was waiting outside for like 15 min and it was quite chilly. This is the only problem here. Yet, the receptionist was nice and helpful so I’m satisfied with the stay. Thank you.

As our flight home was at 6am we wanted to stay near the airport. I looked at various and this looked perfect to meet the needs of 3 people and was much cheaper than a hotel. We arrived just after 2pm we were allocated cabin number 1 assume because we were getting the shuttle bus at 3am!! We had a walked down to the shops for our evening supplies, the cupcake shop was lovely, we picked up some wine at the grocery store It was lovely to sit out on the porch in the afternoon sunshine watching the planes take off We all had an early night the beds were most comfortable, I'd of been happy if we could have stayed longer!! The shuttle bus was on time, brilliant way to spend out last night in Australia, would highly recommend

We booked this new hotel out of curiosity and trust of large brand, but quite disappointed The hotel located at an area outside t4, next to the big parking building/bus terminal, but there are no/minimum signage/directions leading to the hotel, while only one arrow at the bus terminal pointing at the big building with the large novotel logo, making everyone thinks that we can access the hotel through the well lighted bus terminal with ease, but sadly there is no crossing facilities between the terminal and hotel, you will need to lift your luggages, jaywalking through two car lane and climbing up the lane islands if you dont want to walk back 200m for the unnoticeable correct route; in fact the only route leading to the hotel from the airport is the side walk OPPOSITE to the big arrow with poor lightings and no signage at all. As a tourist with heavy luggage, thanks for offering the chance to weight lifting. When we arrived and reflect the problem, concierge said they also received similar complains. So nothing has been done to correct the nonsense and good luck to all the up coming visitors. The room is decent to be honest and with a clear view facing the car park building we mentioned earlier, no much to see yet no problem for us too. Bed is soft and comfortable allowing us to have some good rest. However, theres an empty black bottle in the rubbish bin i believed to be the leftover from the last guest, hope the housekeeper can have a closer look in the future. Some facilities have great designs that i would like to greet the designer/procurement and admire their mastermind for installing those equipment and challenge the wisdom of humankind. For instance: the anti-intuitive shower switch for change to top shower or handheld shower head, it is semi cylinder disguised as part of wall mount of the top shower, which is about 1.9m - 2m from the ground, for those who cant find the switch and not tall enough will have to stick with what was preset. Second, the hot water dispenser at the breakfast bar, you can simply press the two buttons on top and nothing would happen, turns out there is an extra sensor you need to block with your thumb and use another finger to press the buttons on top, this can encourage guests to give up on the hot water if no one is around to ask. The breakfast is the most disappointing part, frankly all quality are high standard but the choices are few and basic, simply bacons/ eggs/ veges/ salad/ hams (well the mushrooms are very impressive though), there is also a honey hive (with a rectangular frame) but mostly empty at the middle (at the time of 7am) where the side are hard to spoon out, ppl try very hard but the loose stands make it even harder to spoon out, the frame eventually collapse and guest gave up to take the hive. No staff notice/try to fix the collapsed honey hive/ change to a new one during my whole breakfast ( around half an hour) and remain the same when we left. The pancakes supposed to be eat with the honey are dry and inedible imo too. The price for the hotel is not cheap comparing to the nearing but the standard does not meet up with the price, facilities are new and thats the only advantage on the table. PS: the hotel offer free shuttle to the terminals too, try to mention and book for your shuttle as there are only 3-4 seats if everyone have large luggages, otherwise the concierge will be surprised you did not ask for this hidden service with no mentioning during check in and no timetable ever provided when you check with them in the morning.
