Modernes Hotel mit zentralem urchigen Restaurant-Teil im Zentrum des Hauses. Freundliche, zuvorkommende Bedienung. Die Speisen im Restaurant sind sehr fein und nett angerichtet. Ein ein kleiner, aber aparter Wellnessbereich rundet das Angebot ab. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt nichts vermissen. Lediglich das nicht ganz geschlossene WC-Abteil im modernen Zimmer ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.

We considered to stay during five nights in a wonderful place like Brienz, and we choose the Alpenrose thanks to some good recommendations from friends We stayed in one of the traditinal hauses they manage next to the Hotel, and we enjoyed a wonderful stay, all in the appartment was very clean, both kitchen utensils and bed linens in perfect stay and cleans, Breakfast was included in price and was fantastic, not a huge breakfast buffet, but the most important, the quality of food, some of them made by them like jams and marmalades, next to a superb friendly and helpful service from the members of family owners of the complex.

Wir waren total 16 Personen für 2 Übernachtungen. Alle waren vom Hotel begeistert und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Insbesondere die Abendessen waren hervorragend. Wir schätzten auch sehr, dass auf die 4 Kinder besonders eingegangen wurde. Sehr positiv zu erwähnen ist, dass beim Essen auf 4 Personen mit speziellen Allergien geachtet wurde und mit einer Selbstverständlichkeit Alternativen serviert wurden, welche ebenfalls ausgezeichnet waren. Ein riesiges ”Danke schön” für das Engagement, die Kochkünste und auch für den super Service. Wir werden sicher wieder einmal in diesem Hotel übernachten und können es nur empfehlen.

位置，外觀一流，房間設施比較老舊，古董傢具也是大路貨，沒有想象中那麼好，但也不算差。可以開車進酒店，路比較窄，最後一段路有門禁卡，最後提前跟酒店聯繫要密碼，我雖然也是攜程訂的，但是掛在攜程上的小旅行社（貌似香港的旅行社）下的訂單，不會主動告訴你這些注意事項的。關於纜車上下，坐了一下，酒店客免費，需主動出示房卡，記得看好時間表，別錯過末班車。餐廳景色很好，服務也周到，衹是食物一如既往的難吃，哦，我不是說這家酒店難吃，我是說瑞士所有的飯店餐飲都難吃（這家早餐很好，可以早點去，選擇正對瀑布的位置，但正餐真的是一言難盡），難吃是一回事，儀式感十足，一道道菜上得慢，上來跟你解說這道菜用了什麼原料，什麼做法，實際品嘗的話，色香味一缺三，瑞士所有餐廳都是，包括但不限於這家，我老婆就等甜品上完忙不迭地撤退，驚慌失措之下包都忘了拿。有一說一，服務還是非常不錯的，服務員把包給放前台了。羅裏吧嗦講了一通，希望對後面的遊客有用。

We found this to be a nice hotel and good value for the time of year. The hotel itself is very historical, and served as a hotel for hundreds of years, establishing as a place for religious pilgrims to go. The patron saint of Switzerland is buried at the church next-door. The hotel isn't fancy, and you do self-check in. It worked pretty well, and folks at the bar/restaurant will help if you are stuck - people working at the hotel are friendly and helpful. There is a decent elevator (which is not a given in Europe) and the included breakfast is reasonable. We had a junior suite for our party of 3, and it was basic but nicely appointed. Only problem is that the pull out couch was super uncomfortable, so my daughter just slept on it as a couch. There is no air conditioning, which isn't a problem most of the time, I'm sure. We had dinner at the restaurant downstairs one night and it was fantastic! Both food and service were outstanding, and a great find in a small town like Sachseln. We liked basing in Sachseln - all of the charm of Lucerne without the crowds and high prices, and close to places like Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, and Grindlewald. One more warning: the church next door has bells ringing a lot. Our junior suite didn't have a lake view and I am glad because lake view would have been directly by the church so the bells would have been louder!

We stayed at the lake lodge Annex, were we had our own bathroom and kitchen. The location is just perfect. When we arrived the fridge was not working so we told the young lady who was at the reception and she immediately fixed the problem, by getting us a new fridge the day after. She offered us to keep our stuff in the hostel fridge which was very kind of her. The staff were all so nice and everything was clean and tidy. We also went kayaking , since the lodge offers all kinds of activities and excursions. They also have parking space next to the lodge which is great and they also offered some coupons to go by bus free to Interlaken which we did not use since we had our own car. We highly recommend this place.. It is very child friendly and pet friendly and the hospitality is 10 out of 10. We just fell in love with Iseltwald and lake lodge and would love to be back xxxx
