The hotel located next to the train station, very convenient. The room is clean and tidy with a beautiful lake view. The bed is comfortable. I’ll stay here again if I comeback

This was honestly one of the best hotels we have stayed in , in years.
The staff were exceptional and could not do enough for me and my family. (Reception, Restaurant, Concierge, everyone),
The food is great and you almost don’t want to leave the hotel cos it’s just so perfect.
I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Zurich that does not want to be in the middle of the city. It’s only 10mins drive / train away.

La camera carina e pulita, la doccia in bagno invece pareva la doccia di una piscina comunale. Noi avevamo la stanza 1. La cui porta non si chiudeva se non a chiave e gli infissi esterni bianchi presentavano ancora la schiuma espansa gialla. Sembrava che avessero lasciato i lavori a metà. La terrazza per colazione/cena è molto bella anche se per il prezzo della cena il cibo lascia a desiderare (ma non siamo in Italia). Poi al ristorante nessuno che parla Italiano in una nazione trilingue...bah... Abbiamo chiesto di pagare la cena con la camera il giorno dopo come ci era stato detto e poi ci hanno rincorso in camera per farci pagare come se dovessimo fuggire nella notte senza pagare un'insalta ed un micro pesce di lago. La mattina dopo colazione abbiamo chiesto un caffè con acqua calda aparte ed hanno utilizzato l'acqua sporca del caffè per quella a parte (ovviamente non l'abbiamo allungato). Ma in compenso per il caffè che sapeva di bruciato, abbiamo dovuto allungargli 5 franchi. Che dire.... tanto fumo e poco arrosto.

This is always a home from home. From the moment of arrival till the departure, everything is amazing. The rooms are quality, the ability to get fresh air is always great. The view from the hotel is priceless, and the amenities are superb. But the thing that sets this apart is the staff. Always happy to accommodate any request, from beers in the foyer taking in the view, to teh amazing food served at dinner. I cannot praise this enough - travelling over 2/3 of the year for work, my visit to this place is always the highlight. So thank you all at the Belvoir - you always make my stay amazing

This is a self check in hotel. Codes came via email and I had no trouble getting into hotel or my room. The room was clean and the water was hot. Bedding and towels were fine. My tip would be not to have a lake view room because the trains are very noisy on that side of the hotel. I think you can order breakfast from the nearby bakery but as I have family living locally I did not do this. As we are taking Swiss prices this is very good value.

Seehotel Sonne is a true Swiss local hotel run by a neighbourhood team who do their very best to make guests feel comfortable during their stay. They listen to their guests and provide what is needed, from umbrellas, to restaurant reservations and individual bedding requests. They make their own lavender bath salts for the bathrooms and give guests a leaving present of homemade jam. I was given a room with a bath, as requested. The breakfast buffet selection was excellent with choice fruits, cold meats and cheeses and, in addition, they were happy to make omelettes or fried eggs. Every morning they offer a special boost juice of some description which was always delicious. The position of the hotel is perfect as it’s right on the lake at the Küsnacht ferry stop and a minute’s walk across the road from the train station from the airport and Zűrich Central Station.

Thank you Ibis Baar for a very comfortable stay and an overall wonderful experience of our 3 weeks stay with you. Yes the facilities are basic and the lift can do with a touch up but its comfortable. The staff members are the sheroes at ibis Baar…ever so helpful, kind and generous. The location is brilliant. The Baar station is directly opposite and the Coop / Migros are adjacent with more than 10 restaurants/ cafés around for any meal you need.
