Hotel terbaik di Vernier

Stayed in a corner suite with 2 bedrooms. Was a little small for 5 people but as we weren't in it much of the time it wasn't too much of a problem. Location was great - short tram journey into the centre and the number 28 bus from the airport stops practically outside the hotel. Takes about 7 minutes. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. My son and nephew used the gym and the sauna facilities and said they were really good. Our suite was immaculately clean and the little kitchen well stocked with the equipment we needed. The automatic blinds meant complete blackout at bedtime and apart from a couple of sirens it was very quiet. There are a few places to eat by the hotel which are good and a bakery as well as a corner shop and pharmacy. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay in. We stayed for 4 nights, 2nd April-6th April. The building either interior or exterior was very well maintained and lovely decor. The reception area was very soothing and welcoming. Free tea/coffee. The room we had slept 4 people which we needed. It was well equipped, it even had a coffee machine. Very clean room. Ample of linens/ towels. The Hotel had given us the opportunity to apply for free travel passes during the duration of our stay. This allowed us to travel freely anywhere and in any mode of transport which saved us a lot money on transport. Transport was easily accessible, in fact the bus stop was just outside the hotel. The staff were wonderful, polite and helpful. They also had lots of boards games which we enjoyed playing until late at night. Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful experience.

Gorgeous hotel. Opposite a TPG number 10 stop, which takes you directly into geneva or the airport, & a shopping centre with plenty of restaurants and shops. The staff is extremely friendly, the beds are very comfortable & overall it is very convenient for a short trip. The room we stayed in had a peculiar bathroom, with the toilet in a different room to the shower/bath, which was annoying at times. Also, the breakfast was delicious but there was a very small, limited amount of tables.

Struttura situata a circa sette minuti di taxi dall’aeroporto e fuori dal centro comunque facilmente raggiungibile con i tram 14 e 18 che si prendono entrambi a 50 metri dall’hotel e con solo 15 minuti ti portano in pieno centro fermata Bel Air da dove si è già ai piedi del centro storico e sul lago. La struttura si presenta rinnovata da ristrutturazione ma ritengo molto disorganizzata e certamente da migliorare su tanti aspetti. Le camere sono più che comode con letto matrimoniale king size purtroppo non sistemato all’italiana ma con i piumini a sacco. Bagno comodo con ampia doccia dove ovviamente è assente il bidet, mancano inoltre le ciabatte che per un 4 stelle è grossa pecca e nel frigo non ci sono bevande se non una bottiglia d’acqua che fanno trovare sul tavolo all’arrivo. Purtroppo lascia a desiderare la pulizia ed ancor peggio il secondo giorno non avevano neppure fatto la stanza per poi pulirla (in 10 minuti!!!) su ns richiesta intorno alle 18,00 e lascio spazio all’immaginazione sul livello della pulizia effettuata. Colazione sia di dolce che salato accettabile e con svariate proposte. Personale più che disponibile sia alla reception dove all’arrivo abbiamo trovato un ragazzo che parlava pure italiano molto propenso a dare info, simpatici e disponibili anche in sala colazione. Check In e Check out troppo lenti e seppur con poche persone in attesa questo dovuto dalla presenza di un solo operatore, situazione che abbiamo notato anche nei gironi del ns soggiorno. Ritengo comunque sia una buona soluzione per chi vuole spendere parecchio in meno rispetto alle strutture in pieno centro anche per il semplice e veloce collegamento con il tram quest’ultimo come i bus si possono utilizzare totalmente gratuiti facendosi consegnare i biglietti alla reception che valgono per tutto il Vs soggiorno.

We liked most of the hotel. The pricing was reasonable and it was in a nice and quiet area in Geneva. We found the beds to be comfy and felt the shower was excellent with a couple of different settings to get some good pressure. We had two twin beds and the room had enough furnishings in it to enjoy but it is just a place to sleep. The room ran a bit warm for us in late October but having the window open helped. They have a very good breakfast with a good variety of items like Swiss cheese, bacon, cured meats, breads and some good pastries. Coffee, tea and juice is also included and they have a few dispensers in the dining area. Hot water is available here in case you want to make a hot drink and bring it back to your room. When we visited this hotel there was an internet outage in Vernier so there was no wifi available at the hotel for the duration of our stay and our cellular was blocked. The parking garage was also doing some painting so it was tricky to figure out the parking situation and getting into the parkade because there was no signage. We had issues with the front desk because the staff did not inform us of these known issues while we were checking in and we found it somewhat frustrating but when we inquired about these issues at the front desk the staff that I spoke to was rude, argumentative and condescending while the one lady insisted that they told us during check in but we were simply providing feedback that they did not. We had booked a twin room and a double room for our family but the rooms were mixed around and we didn't figure it out until the next morning and just thought it was what it was. My wife and I could not help but notice that the staff in the breakfast area only asked people of colour for their breakfast card. Each time we went up to grab something they were asking someone of colour for their card to prove they were ok to dine in the breakfast area and it happened so frequently that it did not seem to be a coincidence. Staff could improve by asking everyone or simply having a front desk before the dining area where people could check in so they do not have to weirdly single people out. I believe the hotel was charging a 25 CHF fee per day for parking because it is a third party that operates the parkade. They did advise us that we could choose to pay this fee or pay at the machine in the parkade. When we asked about the costs of the parkade the front desk staff nor the parking operator could advise us what the overnight fees would be but someone later shared that we could check the machine when we go to check out and we found a payment schedule and only had to pay 15 CHF overnight. I have attached the payment schedule to this review. There is not much near this hotel but we felt it was a convenient overnight stay as we drove around Switzerland. We enjoyed some aspects of the hotel but there are definitely some opportunities to improve.

The Geneva Marriott is an attractive, contemporary hotel located roughly near the airport, and since the shuttle doesn't run that often, you might be better off making the walk, as I did. For me it was a matter of some 20 minutes, but depending on your starting point at the airport, it could easily be less. Much closer to the hotel is the quite large Balexert shopping mall at 7 or 8 minutes' walk. The center of town can be also be walked to, as the way is rather straightforward, though it is noticeably farther than the airport, making the trams that stop very close to the hotel an option. Of course you will have to ask for your free Geneva public transport card, as the hotel makes no mention of these at its own initiative. I liked the fact that I was offered a late checkout immediately on arrival. I didn't like hearing that breakfast is available to platinum Marriott Rewards members in the executive lounge only, a marked departure from standard practice elsewhere in Europe - not just at Marriotts, but also, for example, at their large American competitor also located near the airport. As it was, when I was ready for breakfast on the morning of my one-night stay, it turned out that something had gone wrong and as a consequence, breakfast was offered only in the restaurant. The assortment there was between good and very good, which I'm sure wouldn't have been the case in the lounge. The lounge had already disappointed the previous evening. I went shortly before 18:00 just to make sure that food would still be available when I was expecting to have the time, just after 19:00. The employee said yes, but there was virtually nothing left when returned; she might have had the courtesy to mention that they would stop replenishing dishes, but this would have required some thought from the guest's perspective. The gym was not so great, either; from a large and modern Marriott I'd expect better. All in all, acceptable, but if breakfast in the lounge is as meager as I suspect, then I would probably not favor this property.

It is my another stay at this hotel but the satisfaction remains. I got myself a tripple room for a decent size double bed. The oryginal room was giving some cigarets smoke smell with windows sealed, but I got it changed at once. The second room was just fine. Also the breakfast was simple but good. The staff was polite and helpful. Overally another good expierience.

Comfortable size room with individual air-con control, and amenities such as hairdryer and kettle. Location is good - easy 5min walk to tram & bus-stops as well as neighbourhood mall. Regular airport shuttle. Service is friendly and good. Breakfast is relatively simple but more than adequate. Overall great stay in Geneva.

The stay was perfect and the staff were super friendly. I would stay at the place again and again.

I received a wonderful welcome from the staff. They made my stay very enjoyable and were able to answer any questions. Room was clean and well appointed with comfortable beds and a good size working desk. I had dinner in both the restaurant and the bar. Service was good and staff attentive. Food was well presented and tasty. The reception area was spacious and I was able to spend some time before leaving for the airport catching up on work. Thank you all for your kind attention. All done with graciousness and a smile.
