DDreamer29413610490Great hotel. Beautiful restaurant and lobby area. We ate dinner which was very good. Breakfast was also good. No complaints. Staff great esp Joaquin at the front desk who helped me get tickets online for TDP Park entry. Coming back in a week and staying again. FYI the parking is out front on street. We found a spot but looks there us lots of free street parking elsewhere.
JJelle SThis place deserves 10 stars out of 5, its perfectly located, very close to the bus terminal, super market across the street, the host is super friendly, really lovely decorated place, PERFECT BEDS AND SHOWERS, good breakfast, luggage storage when you check out later, walking distance to everything, I don't think you can find a better place to stay in Punta Arenas. Probably one of the best places I stayed in Patagonia!
Punta Arenas is a touristy town. This hotel is centrally located with walking distance to most local areas and eateries. That makes it a popular choice for stay. However the hotel itself gives you small rooms, noisy due to its location and poorly designed. There’s no proper bathroom in many rooms. Shower with transparent glass door makes it interesting! No thermostat. Most rooms without tv, and no amenities like lotion. There’s no furniture to empty your suitcase. The housekeeping staff does not like to give you even two pods of coffee and was downright rude when asked, until I paid another one two bucks for the same! The room itself is about 175 sq feet. Unless you’re ok with such an accommodation, find a better and more suitable place to stay.
PPengguna TetamuThe older (original) rooms are very charming yet fully modernized. The only thing I might mention is the electric plugs being a bit pesky. Since we have phones, cameras, fit bit, Apple Watch, and CPAP, I had a converter plug that connected to a small power ***** and still needed to use wall plugs at various points around the room. The bathroom amenities were usual except for only body wash and no bar soap. Fridge worked well for our sausage and cheese with the wine we bought. The building being a wonderful mansion of old has part of itself as a museum which a front desk person gave a tour. And the storied Shackleton Bar is a delight. Breakfast is adequate with eggs to order your way. The front desk staff were helpful above and beyond expectations. We had multiple agenda issues with staging for travel to Antarctica as well as complicated contact issues with park and hotel in Torres Del Paine. We could never thank the front desk staff and management enough for making life easy. The location is ideal for walking to most places of interest and restaurants and museums. We would not pass up a chance to stay there again.
UUgurcan ErdemThe service was great and professional. We stayed only for 2 nights to go on the boat tour to the antarctic. I'm really happy towards the end where we checked out but we were allowed to keep our luggages at the hotel while we explored the city for the last time. The young staff, didn't catch his name, was very helpful and assisted us with ordering a 🚕. Only downside would be the carpet in the room didn't look very clean, but aside from that it was great.
I stayed here a total of 3 nights - 2 nights before my Antarctic cruise, and 1 night on the way back. I really liked this hotel and it exceeded my expectations. Both rooms I was assigned were fantastic. Spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. Lovely large bed. On the way back they gave me a massive apartment-sized room - crazy! The service is top notch once you get to the hotel. Reception and restaurant staff are fabulous. The hotel is right across the street from Unimarc - a large supermarket and very close to restaurants, souvenir stores, and the main town area and shops. I want to thank the hotel for being flexible and preparing me a hot meal that was ready in my room when I arrived after midnight. I had a late flight coming in and room service closed at 11.30pm. I arranged for them to cook me a meal and have it ready in my room at 11.30pm. This was a lifesaver! I very much enjoyed my stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. There were a couple of things that could have been improved: 1. It is very hard to get into contact with the hotel before arrival. They only respond to emails half the time. That being said, their concierge staff always responded to my emails and were a big help. Big thanks to Fernando from Concierge and Felipe from Reception who helped me greatly when I didn't get any response from the General Reception team. 2. The hotel is extremely busy and the lifts took a long time to arrive on some occasions. One of the lifts also broke down on one day and the wait was even longer. 3. Gym opening times - they have a great gym but it closes early. I think on Sunday they close at 9pm. It's terrible. For a hotel like this, they should have the gym freely open till midnight. Overall I think they did a wonderful job and provided great service on arrival. It was a great stay, thank you.
Hotel Los Navegantes has decent rooms, a great lobby, a great included breakfast, and centrally located in Punta Arenas. The cost was affordable for a decent, comfortable, and clean room and the breakfast was great. If you'd like to customize a breakfast item or eat something not at the buffet, you can ask the staff and they'll be happy to help out.
