Hotel terbaik di Karlovy Vary District

As part of our Czech Republic visit we looked for a hotel near Karlovy Vary, we came across the Riverside hotel, and we are so happy we found it everything was great, the location, hotel staff, wellness & spa and the breakfast, the hotel is highly recommended and we will certainly come back !!!

Check in experience was quite bad. The lady told us they needed 20min to check us in (no reason given) - and needed to keep all passports meanwhile. The half-board that we had pre-ordered (through the hotel website) was not apparently not registered correct, which we had to point out. We then went to the restaurant for dinner while waiting to be checked in. Restaurant service was non-existing. No one greeted us or explained anything. Buffet was OK, but no one asked us, if we wanted anything to drink. We then asked after a while, if we could maybe buy a beer and a soda, and we were told no, because the kitchen (not the restaurant) was closing in 18 minutes (8:30 pm) - which didn't make sense to us at all. While trying to understand the rules as someone who had just arrived, waiting to be checked in, they gave us a big sigh and found a beer and a cola somewhere. Like we were supposed to be sorry for buying something to drink with only 18 minutes left before the kitchen closed. Staff friendliness was generally poor - except the cleaning. Nobody from the staff greeted you anywhere in the hotel. Not a ”hello” or a ”good morning” - not even a smile. At one time we had a question about the shortest path, but the reception just said ”Sorry, no English.” even though the same lady spoke English the day after. The Family Room was quite nice, clean and spacious. Pool area was also good - however quite a walk from ”Blue House”. Pool is reserved for paid activities 09 - 14 almost everyday. The hotel has three (small) lifts of which only two may be used by guests. The last is reserved for staff. Clearly, two is not enough capacity as you often have to wait several minutes for available space.

We had such a beautiful experience with the hotel and its staff! Our room was clean and prepared for our stay. I gotta tell there was no reconstruction near by so we even had a chance to take a nice afternoon nap; the hotel is super close to the center but still quiet!!! Well, it's true it's more up the hill but it's perfectly accessible by a taxi which always picked up us right in front of the building. Don't forget to visit their private spa! Everything was so clean and brand new; we felt like in heaven. It was a cherry on the top. Overall we had a great impression of the hotel!! We'll definitely come back next year
