I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a solid choice for a short stay of 1-2 nights. The location is excellent, offering easy access to local attractions and public transport. However, be aware that parking comes with an additional cost of 15 EUR per night, which might be a downside for those driving. The hotel itself was very clean, which is always a big plus. The room was small but fine for a couple; however, for a family with a child, it felt a bit cramped. It was manageable for a short stay, but if you're planning to stay longer or need more space, it might not be ideal. Breakfast was suitable for those accustomed to a typical German breakfast—bread, cold cuts of cheese and sausage, yogurt, and muesli. For those looking for more variety, particularly Asian travelers, the options might feel limited as there were no warm dishes or other typical Asian breakfast items. One minor inconvenience was that our bottled water was not refilled after the first night, which was a bit disappointing. Also, be sure to lock your door because the cleaning staff may enter in the morning without warning, which can be quite startling if you're not expecting it. Overall, it's a good place for a quick stay, with a solid, reliable atmosphere and great cleanliness. Just be prepared for a few minor drawbacks, especially if traveling with family, needing more space, or looking for specific breakfast options.

The hotel was nice. Very convenient location, at a walking distance from the train station. However, there’s no one there in case you have any issues. For example, one person in our group had problems with his back and he had to wait until the next day to request a pillow and they didn’t give us any since they said their policy is to have only 1 per person (a bit extreme and not too nice for the customers). So just be aware that this is good for the price but not the best if you have any problems.

The staff was the best, very professional and polite. We had a group of 20 people which is not easy to deal with. They handled it perfectly, service was great. We are staying there on a regular basis with big groups. Location is good and central.

Ich komme gerade von einem 4 tägigen Seminar im Insel Hotel. Vorab und wie ich finde sehr wichtig, das Personal war ausnahmslos egal zu welcher Tageszeit sehr freundlich und auch hilfsbereit. Wir waren 13 Personen und am ersten Tag wurden wir in einem äußerst kleinen und engen Seminarraum untergebracht, hier scheint etwas bei der Planung schief gelaufen zu sein. Man hat sich aber sofort entschuldigt und ab Nachmittags Abhilfe geschaffen. Wir haben 4x zu Mittag gegessen, wir konnten jeweils zwischen zwei Gerichten wählen. Es gab jeweils an zwei Tagen Gnocchi und Fisch mit Spinat und Kartoffeln, hier hätte ich mir bei der Menüplanung etwas mehr Phantasie gewünscht. Ich habe ein Einzelzimmer im 3. Stock gehabt. Das Bad war relativ neu, das Zimmer allerdings hatte noch den Charme der 80er. Das Bettlaken hatte einige unansehnliche Flecken, als ich dies monierte, wurde sofort Abhilfe geschaffen und neu bezogen. Am zweiten Tag funktionierte die TV Fernbedienung nicht mehr, auch hier wurde sofort und freundlich reagiert. Tatsächlich enttäuscht war ich vom Housekeeping. Im Zimmer wurde nur meine Bettdecke etwas aufgeschlagen und das Bad wurde leider garnicht geputzt. Die Glastür macht vielleicht optisch was her, Nachteil ist allerdings dass diese auch regelmäßig geputzt werden muss und wenn man das nicht tut, naja dann sieht es eben sehr unsauber aus. Ein eindeutig unbedingt positiver Punkt der erwähnt werden muss ist die Qualität der Bettdecke und des Kissens! Einfach top!!! Unglaublich leicht und weich! Ich habe hier einige Bewertungen gelesen, die das Frühstück kritisierten. Meiner Meinung nach war die Auswahl zwar nicht übermäßig riesig, braucht es aber auch nicht, vielleicht nur noch eine zusätzliche Sorte Käse….es wurde auch aufgefüllt, wenn leer und die Semmeln waren lecker! In einigen Wochen bin ich wieder da und vielleicht habe ich ja Glück und bekomme dann eines der renovierten Zimmer.

Basic, clean, modern hotel situated perfectly in the center of the town so you can visit everything in a walking distance. Parking is a part of the hotel. Breakfast has a lot of varieties of food so everyone will find what he likes. Nice restaurant with terace is a part of the hotel .

waren eine Nacht da und waren positiv überrascht... gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, geräumige Zimmer, Fitnessraum und Sauna, leckeres Frühstück, freundliches Personal, abends das Restaurant hat seinen Namen nicht ganz verdient, aber für einen Abend vollkommen OK

We booked 3 rooms for 5 days in June. One of our party is severely disabled with very limited mobility. On arrival we were dismayed to find that despite several messages to the hotel in advance, the property is NOT wheelchair accessible contrary to what the hotel stated on ***********. The rudimentary stairlift is not appropriate for a disabled immobile person and is actually dangerous as it doesn’t lie flush with the floor at the top. We spent half an hour with the manager Bedran Tas who was very unsympathetic and not interested in our situation. He didn’t care at all and just kept refusing to refund us for the 3 nights we would not be able to stay at the hotel due to it not being wheelchair accessible. Other false claims on hotel’s listing:- a 24 hour front desk - a lie as all the staff leave the property by 21.00, a garden - none there, soundproof rooms - what a joke, it’s ridiculously noisy from traffic and nearby establishments and room service…… none of the rooms has a telephone and no staff on site after 21.00!! The rooms are very Spartan and ridiculously hot with no air conditioning and it’s impossible to leave windows open due to traffic noise. One of our rooms also had an infestation of ants on the surfaces as well as floors. Only one fridge was working out of the 3 rooms we booked. No travelcot was provided either. All in all this “hotel” was awful, similar to the type of place where rooms are booked by the hour…… We left the establishment first thing the following morning and went to stay elsewhere.

Ich habe eine Nacht in Heilbronn und dort in der ”Pension am schönen Theater” in der Nordbergstr. 13 übernachtet. So wirklich schön ist die Ecke nicht, vielspurige Straßen, viel Verkehr, aber die Pension liegt ein bisschen am Anfang einer Seitenstraße und deshalb ist es nicht ganz so laut dort. Probleme gabs beim Einchecken, weil ein Automat dies übernahm, aber dieser nach Eingabe meiner Daten das Einchecken plötzlich abbrach und damit kam ich nicht ins Haus! Die Pension ist dem Hotel am schönen Theater angeschlossen, wo nach meinem dortigen Anruf dann auch schnell ein Mitarbeiter rüberkam und den Automat wartete, dass ich meine Karte bekam, womit ich ins Haus und mein Zimmer kam. Das Zimmer war geräumig, gut möbliert, das Bad groß, alles sauber und vom Straßenlärm war nicht alt so viel zu hören. Im bzw. am Haus gabs Automaten mit Getränken und Snacks, Frühstück gab es leider nicht. Vorm Eingang war eine große Raucherecke, wo Leute bei offener Haustür saßen, rauchten und sich unterhielten. Für eine Nacht ging das für mich noch, aber länger wollte ich da in der Ecke nicht verweilen! Übrigens, ich war halt durchradelnder Fahrradtourist für eine Nacht, für mein Fahrrad gabs dort keine Unterstellmöglichkeit und auch nichts zum Anschließen, notgedrungen kettete ich mein Rad an einem Stuhl in der erwähnten Raucherecke. Ich persönlich fand den Preis nur für eine Übernachtung ohne Frühstück und vor allen ohne jeglichen Service nicht ganz so kostengünstig.
