Hotel terbaik di Hopfen am See

This hotel is in a beautiful little resort a few kilometres from Fussen and the castles. The hotel overlooks a beautiful lake and although busy in the daytime, quiet at night. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and had one of the biggest baths I've ever used. We paid extra for a lake view. We could see the lake but only from a side view. We ate in the Italian restaurant downstairs. Which did very nice food. The restaurant staff are also the ones who check you in. They are friendly and helpful. My only criticism was we were not told we were going to be charged to park in the garage. It was difficult to park it has about 8 tiny spaces, we didn't bump our car, but I expect many do trying to park here. If we had been told we were paying to use this garage, even though it was only a few euros, we would of chosen to park elsewhere in town. I would recommend this lovely hotel though, good value, in a beautiful location next to the lake.

Ich bin nicht das erste Mal hier im Hotel. Komme sehr gerne hier her. Zimmer sind sauber, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders die nette Dame an der Rezeption, die trotz der ”Freundlichkeit” und Uneinsichtigkeit mancher Gäste ruhig geblieben ist. Danke auch für die Verlängerung und den damit verbundenen unkomplizierten Zimmerwechsel! Das Frühstück lässt für mich keine Wünsche offen. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Logen-Zimmer mit Balkon und Seeblick.

From the outside and the surrounding area of the hotel is nice. However, don't let it fool you as the rooms have furniture and decoration from late 1990s. While this in itself isn't a problem, for the price of the hotel, you'd expect a more modern and newer amenities in the rooms. Additionally, there was only one person working the front desk when we are checking in. Also, I'm not sure if this is with all the rooms but our carpet had a smell and the windows are not very sound proof as we could overhear other guests chatting and smoking until 2am with our windows closed. The hotel breakfast buffet is nice, but there is only 1 coffee machine for all the guests. Needless to say, you will surely wait in a long queue for your coffee. The omelette is great but highly suggest you to avoid the bread. It is harder than a rock!!! Another positive is the all you can eat salad bar for dinner, highly recommend. The parking is also an issue as the hotel does not separate parking for the restaurant and hotel guests, creating unnecessary chaos. The parking garage is for small cars only and our rental SUV could not fit. It would be nice if they create a separate bike lane for the guests who use it so when cars entering and leaving the parking lot, it is safer for both the cars and the cyclists. One last thing, upon check out, it was pointed out hotel WiFi costs 8 Euro a night. One suggestion to the hotel: Don't list this! Or better yet waive the charge! It's 2022, not 2005!

A lovely old Teutonic house set in landscape grounds with free parking. Great mountain views from our bedroom which was large with all toiletries. It is short walk - about 1km to Fusson centre which is a lovely old town with plenty of local restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel is nice. There are no English TV stations. There is an elevator but you are requested not to use it after 8.30 at night so as not to disturb other residents of the hotel. I left a dress in the wardrobe and only discovered it a day after we left the hotel. We contacted them to ask to post it to our home address. We send the required money and to date 3 weeks later this has not arrived! I'm sure it will arrive st dome point

Super hotel. Mooie kamers. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Zalig diner. Uitstekende service. Ruime parking. Waarde 10/10 op alle punten. Het hotel is aan de rand van de stad gelegen. Nochtans is het centrum kortbij. Tal van mooie gebouwen in het centrum. De musea hebben heel wat inhoud over geschiedenis. In de omgeving is er heel wat te ontdekken. De Viescheid in september is iets dat je MOET meegemaakt hebben.

We had to stop there because we couldn't get into our location and we did not have a phone to contact them.The desk clerk was more then helpful and let us use the phone to contact.He also let us use the hotel computer to get directions sent to our email.Thr desk clerk was very friendly and accomadating,had we not got our key we would have stayed there instead.Sokudos to the great desk clerk for helping 4 strangers from Canada.

Very comfortable hotel. They have 2 buildings right next to each other - the room was very spacious with a king and a twin bed. Also a couch and a great bathroom. Even has a hair dryer that stays on!! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect- right next to the old town and the bus stop for buses to the castles. They also have breakfast which I didn't try but it looked good. Highly recommend this hotel.

Well the location is amazing!! You can walk anywhere from the hotel which is a bonus but you pay for that bonus too. It is expensive to stay here, the rooms are large and basically bare. Clean and only one pillow per person. To walk to the room took some time due to the largeness of the corridors - sometimes you think you need a map! Beds were ok, not the best not the worse! Buffet breakfast was very good, lots of options and good quality. Probably wouldn’t stay again would look around for a smaller more personable hotel. The underground parking under the hotel has limited, very limited parking in an extremely tight carpark took multiple turns to even get in! Would not recommend that but near the information centre there is a large well lit multi storey parking garage and open 24/7 and wasn’t expensive! The town is beautiful and well worth the visit.
