Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Plauen und haben uns für das Hotel entschieden. Zunächst darf man sagen, dass Ambiente ist Klasse und man fühlt sich wirklich zurückversetzt in die 20er Jahre. Das hat uns total begeistert. Der Empfang war herzlich, freundlich und nett, unser Zimmer wunderbar und wieder fühlt man sich an ”Babylon Berlin” erinnert. Das hat uns super gefallen. Die Farbenpracht und die Einrichtung im gesamten Hotel ist beeindruckend und witzig. Jetzt aber zum Abendessen. Wir haben ein Menü vegetarisch bestellt. Uns wurde am Telefon mitgeteilt, dies wäre kein Problem. Gut, man konnte es essen aber ein Highlight war es wirklich nicht. Der Salat war noch das beste. Das Hauptgericht, Semmelknödel mit 7 Kilo Dosen-Champignons und Fertigsoße. Das hätte ich Zuhause auch noch so hinbekommen. Dafür leider 0 Punkte. Die Nachspeise: Rote Grütze mit Vanillesoße....naja auch wahrscheinlich ein Fertigprodukt. Also insgesamt von der Qualität eher eine Qual. Das Restaurant-Personal bekommt dafür wieder die volle Punktzahl. Wirklich nett, pfiffig und witzig. Bettenqualität OK. Hotelniveau eben. Nicht das beste, nicht das schlechteste. Unser Zimmer hatte die Fenster zur Frühstücksbuffet-Seite. Während der Frühstückszeit (06:30 - 11:00) ist es sehr laut und das Personal rumpelt und kracht sich ab 05:30 schallend bis in unsere Ohren. Frühstücksangebot: Ganz normaler Standard. Leider war der Frühstücksbereich heillos überfüllt und man wartet auf einen freien Platz. Zumindest um 08:30 ging es uns so. Also, die 4 Punkte gibt es nur, weil a) das Personal uns überzeugt hat und b) das Ambiente unseren Geschmack voll getroffen hat. Die Küche hat uns abgeschreckt und werden diese nicht mehr in Anspruch nehmen, sollten wir wieder Plauen besuchen. Also man muß ganz klar abwägen, was einem wichtiger ist.

PPengguna TetamuDas Frühstück ist super, aber mit 17 Euro pro erwachsener Person sehr treuer. Dafür konnten die Kinder kostenlos mit frühstücken. Die Rezeption ist erst ab 14:30 besetzt, das fanden wir für uns nicht optimal. Die Zimmer waren super und die Betten bequem. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral.
