Hotel terbaik di Werder

Firstly, I would like to advise people to ignore all the 1 and 2 and mostly 3 star reviews for this resort.They are unfair and although some people do have bad experiences this resort should not be avoided as I really don't feel they reflect the true image of this resort. For any golfers the two main course (Faldo and Palmer) are fantastic.Palmer is prettier and easier, honestly the Faldo off the tee is very tough,after that it is playable. Accommodation,we had a suite.It was lovely and was cleaned everyday by the friendliest staff ever. We had a few small issues, no iron or ironing board in the room. No daily water, we thought for a suite that would be provided. Pool area, this was fab,as was the sauna.Excellent all round and pool meandours from indoor to outdoor and is heated. Food,food in the restaurant just off the property was excellent and the food in the hotel and golf club was nice also.Our main issue was the lack of options during the day,very limited menu. Breakfast, excellent and staff were so friendly.Could not fault the breakfast in any way. Prices,my only real issue apart from the lack of food options during the day was the strange excessive pricing on certain items.A large 1 lt bottle of water was €8,I refused to pay,told the guy tap water will do. In the clubhouse they serve a large coke poured from a bottle that has the €1 price on it for €5.50. Now that's just wrong and needs to be sorted. Car park,their is a public car park that is around €5 per day,to park in the underground hotel car park is €12 per day.To me,in a resort which is around 45 minutes south of Berlin this is excessive. I had a few small issues and the manager came out straight away and explained they are finding it difficult to get staff. This is understandable and he seemed genuine. I should also add that the private beach is amazing and the water is almost tepid. To sum up I would come here again,the location is great,the staff are excellent and with a few tweaks here and there this resort especially when you consider the golf course quality could be very sought after.

Sehr gute Lage für Ausflüge an Havel, Potsdam und Umgebung. Zimmer sind perfekt für Ausflügler. Der Check-In und Check-out völlig unkompliziert. Sehr freundliches Personal. Immer hilfsbereit und hat gute Tipps. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Personal im Restaurant/beim Frühstück war leider mehr darauf bedacht, dass der Gast - pünktlich wieder geht (beim Betreten wurde ich darauf hingewiesen, dass ich 10 min vor Frühstücksende käme. Ich sollte dann später nur nicht sagen, dass ich das nicht gewusst hätte) - oder nicht stört (mein Mann wollte Mittagessen und es gab kein Personal welches ihn in Empfang nahm. Daher hat er sich selber plaziert an einem unreservierten Tisch. Das Personal kam und meinte das er alles falsch mache und da nicht sitze könne. Auf Nachfragen wieso und wie er es richtig mache, wurde nicht gerade nett geantwortet. Er durfe aber sitzen bleiben). Eine dritte nicht so schöne Erfahrung: Auf Nachfrage nach dem auf Trip.com hinterlegten Businesszentrum zum Arbeiten am Laptop, sollte mein Mann dann 100 Euro bezahlen für 1 Tag - wurde wohl verwechselt mit einem Meetingraum. Am Vorabend wurde an der Rezeption gesagt, dass er sich auch ins leere Restaurant setzen kann. Als er dies am Vormittag machen wollte, wurde dies vom Restaurantpersonal dies negiert. Leider kein so schöner Aufenthalt für uns.

hotel hat schöne aussenrestaurants , Spa Bereich schön und abwechslungsreich ausgestattet. Zum relaxen schön und gemütlich.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen am Park Sanssouci. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen, aber auch die Busanbindung passt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Sauna und das Frühstück sind auch zu empfehlen. Wenn man Glück hat bekommt man auch einen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Den kleinen Abzug in der Bewertung gibt es, da das Hotel teilweise in die Jahre gekommen ist und einer Renovierung bedarf.

I booked this hotel for my husbands birthday and foolishly was taken in by the ”superior double” room as advertised on the website, allegedly there were tea/coffee making facilities and it boasted a wonderful view of the river. This hotel was poor, extremely poor, our room was awful ....... if you hung your head out of the window you could just about see the mosquito filled river. The following day I asked at reception about the ”superior double” room and that it did not fulfill our expectations only to be told (by an extremely unhelpful man) that the website was wrong and he asked me to show him which website stated the benefits of ”superior double rooms”, as it happened it was the HRG website (allegedly they are part of the group), although this clearly isn't advertised at the hotel, once can only assume that the hotel is that poor that HRG are now looking at losing this hotel within their chain. The food was poor, hot food wasn't hot and consisted of sausages and rubbery eggs which were freezing, although on a positive the vanilla yoghurt was lovely. I can't NOT recommend the hotel strongly enough ..... and don't even get me started on the closest train station which was scary to say the least. We did a bus tour around Potsdam and there are some lovely parts of it, overall our 4 night stay in Germany was poor, unhelpful staff, rude and unhelpful people, a note to travelers thinking of going, you have to pay to pee everywhere, lots of restaurants don't even have toilets and those which do will charge you 1 Euro, a lot of the self service toilets don't work and so you have to go to an awful toilet manned by a poor child (who clearly isn't happy doing his job)!!! On a positive and that's the only positive I can say about the hotel is that on the day of our checkout (note for the hotel staff) which was 6.30am on Monday 17th June when we were panicking about catching a train we were met by a helpful young man on your reception desk who understood that we were in a rush and so didn't ask us for any payment/further details (as we'd pre booked in advance) who we then met at the station having missed our train to the airport (as the trains from Charlottenof are erratic) he was extremely helpful and advised us we'd missed the train and did everything he could to ensure we caught the correct train (on the correct platform) an hour later, he even made sure we got a seat on the train (as my husband is walks with a stick), I cannot thank him enough and I hope that the hotel staff reading this review pass on our thanks to him, rather than posting an bog standard review thanking us for reviewing. Vienna House needs to post more honest pictures and not just sofa shots. An extremely poor hotel, please think seriously before booking, my advice .... DON'T BOTHER!!!!
