A very nice spa hotel with conferencing facilities in a very accessible part of Denmark. The staff were excellent, rooms great (we had a suite - which was superb) and the spa facilities not that heavily used when we went to use them, but that may depend on the time of the day. Overall, very pleased with our stay.

An upgraded camping lodge in series. But you get what you pay for, and if it had been a litle cleaner an some paint on the floors, I would have raited a four instead of three. Good service, easy check in and out, easy to walk the dogs, good breakfast. We will probably be back.

Can't beat the location - directly across from rail station and easy walk to restaurants, bars, museum, castle. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Room was fairly basic but very clean and quiet.

The small Hotel Hamlet is a strange little hotel. Helsingør is a beautiful little town and well worth a visit. If you do decide to stay the night, worth it as this is one of the most charming places on earth, I wouldn't discount staying here because the staff are very nice and helpful and the location is really very good, near the water and the train station. Although our room was on a corner and had lots of light, it smelled just terribly of old dirty shoes. The carpet we suspected. We bought a bottle of Febreze and nearly used it all in three days. We left our windows open to air things out until we missed closing them before dusk and had to contend with mosquitos. The Saturday traffic is quite crazy and the hotel is across from one of the loudest bars in town, which was loud until 2am when patrons streamed out, so if you do decide to stay at the hotel ask for a room in the back if you wish to sleep on Saturday night. The bathroom had no window so got very warm if the door was closed. If you are there on Sunday there are only a couple of restaurants that are open in the evening so be aware of that as well. One last thing, the staff was so helpful, that when I thought I had left my new Italian sandals in our room and asked them to check after we left-they did not find the sandals but they made sure to look and emailed us back, be aware though that they do not staff the hotel after 7pm so make sure you are all set before then.

酒店是青年旅館，但是出乎意料挺自在，工作人員都很和善，後面一個沙灘，還有早餐雖然比較簡單但是基本該有的也有了。離中央車站1，2公里，走路25分鐘左右，打車100多rmb，公交也有，我們沒坐，所以不清楚價格，和酒店無關感覺這個城市公共交通不太便利。

The restaurant experience ruins it all..... I've been to seminars at Konventum 6 times now, and it's in so many ways a great place. The surrounding park and view of the sea is magnificent. The architecture, interior design and all the art likewise. The auditoriums and other working areas are very well suited for seminars, courses etc. The rooms are fine, the beds good. Everything is perfectly clean and the staff nice and efficient. BUT - the retaurant is awful. The acoustics are terrible. The tables are round and large, so those opposite you are impossible to talk to. People with the slightest hearing impairments are completely shut out of the conversation. A colleague of mine had a sound level meter and measured the noise to 90 dB, which is the level of ie a lawn mower, something you would not want to have running next to you at dinner. Several mentioned getting headaches, getting mentally exhausted or having strained voices from shouting. I must've been really awful if you weren't part of the two large working grous present. Workin groups generate more noise and a lot of going back and forth between tables and the terrace for smoking . I'd actually consider not participating in dinner, if we go back there next year again for the yearly seminar. (Lunch is a bit better, as you can sit outside if the weather is okay) A pity, as the rest of the experience at Konventum is always a pleasure.

I arrived to this hotel as my base to visit some touristic attractions as Louisiana Museum , Kronborg castle, etc. The hotel is beautiful, very pleasantly designed, near a small lake that can be seen from the dining room. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. I took the single room ( which I usually do not book) as it was big enough. From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed and got very good and professional service from all the staff members. I had dinner at the hotel ' and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and also the wine menu that accompanied it . The first evening I took the fix menu ( they have 2 choices ) and every dish was delicious. The second evening , I dinned 'A la carte' and asked to receive a recipe from the chef ( they gave it to me ) of the meshed potato. ( one of the best I ever had ) The breakfast was also excellent with great choices, very good and personal service 2 small things: they charge money for the espresso at breakfast , the room do not have air condition, as I was in September it didn't really matter. We’ve been to Hornbaekhus’s restaurant many times, and always have a nice experience when we go. The lunch is great and the service is very nice. We had the best ‘fiskefilet’ the last time we went. The location is amazing, and you can easily take a walk on the beach between lunch and afternoon coffee.
