First time at the Hotel Jazz, what a surprise. Friendly staff, excellent location 5 mins from Las Ramblas. Room was very comfortable and quiet will all amenities including tea/coffee machine. Hotel staff recommended a local Italian restaurant within minutes. On leaving there was a taxi outside waiting to take us to the airport. Would certainly recommend this hotel and will stay there again on our next trip.

Superb hotel, very conveniently located - - The airport (Areobus) shuttle route takes you basically to the door, its very easy to book online and only cost a few euro-so much easier and cheaper than a taxi!!! From the hotel its Easy to get around and see the sights, loads to do on your doorstep. We had a very warm welcome from staff and an upgrade to a Plaza view room - room was very large, clean and comfortable with a high end feel to everything. We had a large shower room and a separate bath. The Nespresso machine was also a classy touch. We were especially surprised and touched when we arrrived back to room later in the evening to see staff had left a bottle of Cava in an ice bucket for us - thank you so much. We are so pleased we chose to stay here and WHEN we return to Barcelona Olivia Plaza will be at the very top of our list to stay. Thank you again

Stayed here recently for five nights and would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of travelling to Barcelona. The hotel itself is 30mins from the airport cost us €35 and has a bus stop right outside the door to get you to all the major attractions in Barcelona. The H16 bus gets you to Placa del. Catalunya in 20 mins and the 59 will take you to las Ramblas via the seafront in about the same time. If you don’t want to pre-buy a bus ticket you can just tap as you go for each trip. Although the area is very quiet at night time the buses run late and you get dropped directly at the hotel door. There was a few nights we got off one stop early to use the supermarket and walked the 5 mins to the hotel and we felt very safe as its well lit up and the street is good and wide and we only encountered a few locals out walking their dogs. Pobelnou is 10 min walk away if you want to check out that area and the beach is a 5 min walk. We had a room on the 6th floor over looking the pool which was very quiet even during the day as the hotel seemed to be favoured by a slightly older crowd. Breakfast was very well presented good choice of foods to suit everyone. Room was spacious and the air con worked great when you finally mastered the controls nothing too technical. All in all we had a lovely 5 night stay here and would definitely return

Wonderful staff with warm greetings and great knowledge. Walking distance from bus and metro. 7-10 min walk to beach. The stay was comfortable and the room with a balcony was a good option to go for. Decent size for Europe. Housekeeping extremely effective. Enjoyed the breakfast - very good. Scooters and bicycles to rent in the lobby. Quite a few quant restaurants within walking distance. Good for a beer, sangria and lunch/dinner. Awesome welcome plate of snacks in the room - very very cool. The bedding was strange - pillows and duvet covers just slip on.. no buttons to keep them secure over the inners. Bed was slightly uncomfortable.. but not bad. The location of the hotel is in a more residential/business area - so no real 'Spain' feeling to it. However, close to public transport to get you to the necessary tourist sites. The TMB app is your friend - excellent app

Had a wonderful stay. Location is beautiful nearest to metro. Generally I don’t use hotels’s bedsheet/ douve, I carry my own sheets. But here bed sheet as well as douve sheet were perfect clean. None of the hotels yet in Europe has offered a bottled driking water but here we got. Two recommendations I will like to make : a bin in room and tea/coffee in room as Electric Kettle was there. A suggestion for travelers, if you are there to relax can choose room with Balcony as it is great otherwise not as you won’t have time to relax in Balcony so save money.

This nice little hotel was a great find after trying unsuccessfully to book a good priced hotel during the Sant Jordi celebrations... It is located very near the Passeig the Gracia in the Gracia neighborhood, full of little restaurants, cafes and supermarkets around and within walking distance to some of Barcelona's main attractions, but still far enough to avoid the craze of those areas. Rooms have a small kitchenette so you can prepare your own food if you choose to. They are a bit small but totally functional and very modern, breakfast is good though not buffet style, and the staff is one of the friendliest I've found in Spain. They even have a good, well tuned piano in reception for you to play, which is a great touch. Only issue we had was the AC was not working very well but we just turned it off and the room was comfortable enough to sleep. I'd totally recommend this place to anyone spending a few days in Barcelona

I have been to Well and come before a year ago. It was a fabulous experience then. So much so when I was back to Barcelona enroutw for a project in the south of France I stayed again. The employees are so helpful. I love the roof top terrace for a sip and a splash in their spool. The rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable. I have recommended this place to many friends too.

Very cool and funky hotel in a great area. Location: center city. Very convenient to many of the sites, metro, shopping (high end), hop on/ hop off bus, nice restaurants, etc Hotel overall: just COOL with a very laid back, fun vibe. Daily free yoga classes. Free walking tour. Amazing breakfast. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. No language issues. Decor is fabulous and eclectic. Excellent use of old and new. Elevators from the last century. Circular staircases surround the elevators. Yoga studio with colorful, comfortable pillows. Tile floors. Lots of shared/common areas including library, study, terrace (great sitting area for cards and a glass of wine), communal kitchen with fridges, micro, plates, glasses, flatware... The room: we got a double with ensuite bath. The room was TINY and dark. Had a bed and an open ”warerobe” with a rod and couple of shelves and that was it. One window with drapes looking out over a small, dark inner courtyard type square. Not even bedside tables. The bath was tiny and the shower floor was ceramic and treacherous when wet. No grab bars, so be had to be very careful. The room was quite off putting at first, but once you ”let it go”, it sort of fit with the experience. It made us socialize more and enjoy the common areas. Met a couple of interesting people... No TV -- anywhere, including common areas. At first it was strange, but we ended up enjoying the break from the noise -- it fits with the Casa vibe. Price/rate: very reasonable, @$100us per night plus tax.

This place is more of a boutique hotel. Has a common area that’s cozy and kind of luxurious at the same time. You feel like you’re in an old castle. The rooms and bathrooms are huge! It has an odd layout bec the bathroom is facing the street with full windows blocked by a somewhat smokey and thick glass window. No elevator which is common in Europe but overall, the hotel itself is quite an experience. They have fresh croissants daily too!

Our 5-night stay in the hotel was lovely! The room: We booked a double exterior room and were assigned room 605. The location of the room is perfect. As it is on the top floor at the end of the corridor, the room is really quiet (except from occasional street-related noises but that was to be expected in a busy city ;-)). We were even able to see the Sagrada Familia in the distance from the French balcony! The layout of the rooms are quite special. You open the front door to the room and find yourself directly in the bathroom. The bedroom itself is separated by a sliding door. As we opened this door to the bathroom in the morning, we smelled freshly baked bread, that was amazing and made us really look forward to breakfast! The bed was alright and the pillows comfy. The TV had mostly Spanish channels as well as some third-party German ones. The hotel provides free hand and body lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. So no need to bring your own products! :-) The shower is quite big and water pressure is totally fine. The only small down-side of the room is that there is hardly any storage. There are only six hangers and one rather small shelf but no wardrobe. Breakfast: Breakfast is served buffet-style. It’s not overly big but has enough variety. We’ve never eaten as fresh bread and pastries as in this hotel before! There is a variety of about 3-4 kinds of bread, croissants, different pastries and sweet snacks (donuts, muffins,...) everyday along with cheese, eggs and some charcuterie. Their smoked salmon and avocado baguette is to die for! There’s fresh fruit, cereal, yogurts, orange juice, water and milk. Tea and coffee are available at reception which is just behind the bakery counter. Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 to 10:30. The only point of criticism we can think of is that the breakfast room is shared with the bakery which is located on the ground floor of the hotel. There’s a sign close to the counter telling customers that the adjacent room is reserved for hotel guests until 10:30. Unfortunately is seems like neither staff nor customers care about that as people would regularly come in with their trays and block tables. It didn’t really bother us as we had breakfast fairly early and the room was still quiet but one day we went a bit later and got the last remaining table. It was really loud, noisy and crowded in the room that day and we didn’t feel as relaxed having breakfast as we did the all of the other days. Maybe counter staff should tell customers that the bakery only offers take-away service until 10:30. The facility: The entrance to the hotel is through the ”Baluard” bakery. Just walk past the counter and you find the small reception area. The hotel is very clean and the smell of fresh bread is omnipresent in the morning! :-) The bakery is very convenient if you want a sweet or savoury snack, sandwich or refreshment to go.
