Just a one-night stay, but we were impressed with the stylishly restrained architecture of this minimalist white building, up against the northern edge of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada. We had a warm welcome from the Belgian / Spanish husband and wife owners and their able team; and very much enjoyed the wonderfully lively small restaurant with its imaginative, well-prepared menu, already proving to be a major draw for the local area. The approach isn't particularly attractive, a few hundred metres on an unsurfaced (but level and smooth) track, but the wider area has a lot to offer, including the castle at nearby La Calahorra. Guadix, with its impressive cathedral and fascinating caves barrio, is about 25 minutes drive away.

We had a wonderful experience at the Gran Via. The rooms were impeccable; over a couple of different stays in December & January, we tried a regular room as well as the suites, all were lovely. I particularly recommend the junior suite with the mural on the ceiling (room #6), it was a really special room. The spa & hammam were small but really nice, a perfect way to decompress after work, skiing in the Sierra, etc. The location of the hotel is very central to the Granada cathedral area, as well as the Albaicin. Walkable to many restaurants, bars, & tourist sites. And the rooftop has beautiful views of the cathedral and the Alhambra. What really stood out is the service. The staff was very attentive and went out of their way to make us feel welcome & comfortable. Would definitely stay at the Gran Via again next time I'm in Granada.

I’m sorry to deduct stars for this hotel as there is much about it to enjoy and we did. The concierge was very helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable and it’s a great location for the city but ……. 1. Having a roof top bar is an asset. We were encouraged by the reception staff to visit it as it has stunning views. I asked if you had to book and was told no, open from 7. It does have stunning views as we discovered when we went up there but it was closed on Monday and Tuesday! Why? It’s peak tourist season and we were encouraged to go up there ! Very disappointing. 2. The breakfast buffet was good but there was only one person clearing and laying tables and making sure supplies were replenished. There were queues for bread, juice , bacon and eggs. It was 9am. Shame as it’s a great location .

An excellent location right next to the cathedral, making it a prime spot for sightseeing. The airport shuttle stops on the main road nearby, just a 30-second walk away. There's also a small Carrefour on the same road. The room was clean, well-maintained, and with many plug points. However, the lifts were very slow, and the floor numbering was quite confusing. The check-in process took longer than expected, but the online check-out was seamless. The staff were friendly and accommodating. This hotel is a solid choice for anyone looking to stay near the centre with convenient access to the airport shuttle and local amenities.

The Inglaterra was a great deal and pretty good overall. We were too early to check in so left our bags and walked around town. I did notice a strong cleaning fluid smell in the lobby which wasn't pleasant, but this is something I notice more often in all sorts of places. It's nice that it's clean but overly clean isn't good either. In any case, we opted for a higher floor to get a view of the Alhambra which was nice. It's a bit of a pain carrying your bags up and down but not a big deal to tack on the stairs after the elevator otherwise. We did have a small issue with a couple random bugs on our beds but the people were nice about it and the cleaners turned our place upside down, ended up being no big deal. Internet was fine. We didn't have any breakfast but took advantage of the bakery and many eating places in the immediate area.

PPengguna TetamuMy family stayed two nights in this hotel on a tour of Alhambra Palace. The outside common area of the hotel, including the dining room, was very well maintained and could deserve a 5-star rating. The rooms inside were a different story. We occupied two rooms. One was a “superior deluxe room,” and the other was a “classic city-view double room.” Both had the same price tag. The deluxe room was spacious and well-lit but had an odd arrangement with a useless bathtub in the center. Moreover, the room smelled of sewage when we entered the room—which I notified the management. They disagreed and claimed there was no sewage smell. I did not appreciate the response, as all four of our family members smelled of sewage. Nor did I escalate the issue, as our stay was short. The city-view room had a small window overlooking the city without much viewing space. The room was tiny, with two twin beds packed in the room, and was poorly lit. It felt like being in a prison cell. The shower doors in both rooms did not close fully, so the water splashed out. In short, both rooms were substandard and did not deserve the price tag at all. My recommendation to travelers is to stay elsewhere, and if you need to stay there, avoid the small “city-view” rooms and Deluxe Room #331 that smells of sewage. I got to love Spain and its people who are very friendly and helpful, but not this hotel.

SSightsee60232177992Good location, good value for money, good rooms, close to many major sightseeing attractions, many restaurants/stores/supermarkets nearby, close to airport bus stop and citybus stops......... Did not expect it was such a good place to stay, given the ”hostel” name. Chose the Toc Hostel because of its convenient location and not too many ”last-moment” choices. Booked the single room with private bathroom (avoided the dormitories with shared bathrooms), and was further updgraded to family(?) room upon check-in. The accommodation was better than many mid-range hotels; clean, quiet and spacious. One drawback/point to note: the daily continental breakfasts were rather simple, and only started at 8am; rather too late if you booked early day-tours.

PPengguna TetamuI am writing this review based on a message sent by the hotel through the trip.com platform (which is ok) and a ”satisfaction survey” email message sent directly to my email address despite of my explicitly expressed disagreement for receiving unsolicited marketing communication at the time of the check-in (which is not ok).
The hotel staff is very kind and friendly. There are lot of free parking spaces on the street which is very convenient. The area is calm and quiet. Rooms are clean, but the soundproofing is not as good as they pretend. Since rooms are just meters away from the reception and the entrance of the cafe, in the mornings the noise is disturbing.
I would recommend the hotel with the expectation they will take the more seriously the requests for opting out of marketing information.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Tent, Granada (it used to be the Hotel Abba, Granada, so some photos are out-of-date) as part of a tour of Andalucia. It is in a fairly convenient location, less than a mile from the Cathedral and main shops, but around two miles from the Alhambra entrance. It has a grand entrance, but our experience was no better than average. Our room was large and comfortable, but the big windows looked directly into the bedrooms only a few metres away, so we rarely opened the curtains. We ate one evening in the bar, which had reasonable food. While the breakfast buffet had a wide choice, the quality was a bit disappointing: even the fresh orange slices were stringy. Service was patchy: things like tea and toiletry sachets and toilet rolls were not replaced. When I went down to Reception on our last evening and asked for shampoo sachets, the man there grumpily said they didn’t do them, one should use body wash. I returned with an empty shampoo sachet, and still grumpy, without apology, he got someone from Housekeeping who provided the shampoo. It looks as if service manners and efficiency need some improvement.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel was recommended by friends we have living in the area. We spent 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The rooms are as pictured. They are comfortable and clean with daily maid service. We would recommend room number 27, it’s on the Plaza side with great views from the balcony. A little noisy late at night, but we weee tired so it didn’t matter. The front desk was very helpful also, don’t forget your 110v adapter if your from the USA We would definitely stay here again.

PPengguna TetamuThis Aparthotel was in an absolutely perfect location and easily accessible to the main sites of Granada. The communication with the customer support was excellent and it was easy to check in and out or get an early check in for an additional cost. The app was really useful as I could check in that way and had a note of my entrance key in case I forgot the number. The facilities, cleanliness and little extras provided such as water, coffee and crisps were really appreciated after a day of travel. The studio I was in was absolutely gorgeous, modern, clean and whilst in the centre of the town, quiet, so I could get a good night's sleep. The only thing that was a slight disappointment was that I booked the apartment thinking I would be getting a view of the town/square, but I did have balcony views over the balconies and into the apartments of the identical building directly in front of me. So, no view to speak of, but I didn't spend much time in the apartment as there was plenty to do in Granada. Overall, 4/5 for the experience and will be staying in the Libere again when next travelling to Spain.

EEvangeliaGreat concept, good for photos. BUT our capsule no 7 was defective: the door was no locking, the key card holder was taped and so there was no good connection for electricity, and AC in the capsule was not working either. We had to sleep with the door open in order to be able to breath.
The door in the room is unlocked and everyone could enter. The patio is right next to the room, so there is a lot ot noise. People drinking until late and no one from the staff around to supervise. At around 2.30,drunk people entered in the room, a man started shouting and hitting a woman in the face, more people were involved and finally somebody called the police.
We felt super unsafe, especially without having the possibility to lock our capsule door.
Wouldn't go back.
