Bonjour , j'ai réserver pour une nuit la bas et franchement c'était le top , il ya une piscine un bar un restaurant salle de jeu bar dansant .... et j'en passe . Le point le plus négatif c'est la propreté des chambres c'est un scandale vraiment heureusement que ce n'étais que pour une nuit la réception à étais vraiment top car elle nous a changée de chambre donc tour à étais réglée mais la propreté va falloir faire quelque chose ! La chambre en soit etais grande et spacieuse il y a un balcon non vraiment top . Ensuite c'est un hôtel assez bruyant idéal entre familles ou amis je déconseille pour les couples . Niveau emplacement vous pouvez pas faire mieux il y a tout à côté c'est en plein centre ville . Vous avez tous à côté !.

At first i was little disapointed... but that lasted one day! Every thing about hotel was eather great or very good! Location is at epicenter of a place, and its wery loud but i didnt have problem with that, my kids 6years and 9years didnt even notice... Room are very VERY CLEAN, Food Was great!!! And staff perfect... I was at 4star hotels in platja del plama and alcudia Mallorca and this one is Best. Big Thanks to Maria del Mar staff!!!

Please do not listen to the bad reviews. We have just returned from this hotel as a family of 4 travelling with another family of 4. The AI was really good with lots of options on offer each meal tike, along with hot food at the bar and continuous supply of Olives, nuts and crisps. The hotel made us all pack ups as we left early which had variety of foods in. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool slides were open for the kids even though it's out of season. The only things I would say is, if you are travelling with larger children (teenagers) then the beds in the family rooms are small doubles or a sofa bed. Our girls were fine, but we struggled as mid size adults so we would recommend getting an additional room. The beds were quite hard too. The Spa can be used an hour a day when booked for free, so definitely make use of that. We felt the spa is not in a very good position, as when you enter/exit you have to walk through the bar which can be a little awkward if the bar is busy. Just something to think about if you use it layer in the day. Overall we had a great holiday. The hotel and rooms are constantly being cleaned and they are all very helpful.

Très bien placé, la plage juste en face, pas mal de magasins et restaurants aux alentours.
À notre arrivée, il y avait pas mal de poussière au sol, donc le nettoyage n'était pas top.
L'espace de l'appartement était parfait pour notre composition familiale (2 adultes et 3 enfants).
Dommage qu'il n'y avait pas de balcon.

La única cosa que no te dan las zapatillas en las habitaciones estándares, lo que me parece un poco raro, que no valen nada. El resto súper guay, el trato personal, las instalaciones, etc.

AAL NThe hotel is in a very good position on the promenade, with the beach in front and the shopping streets behind. Generally, the reception staff were courteous and helpful. We arrived late, just after breakfast had finished. This was the fault of the coach company. We asked if we could take lunch instead and were refused it. The double room is small and dark, overlooking an alleyway. Cleanliness was generally acceptable. The roof top pool and jacuzzi are small, and space is limited to sit on the provided loungers. We found the dinner food menus very disappointing. It was served buffet style and was constantly luke warm, unless you queued for the one hot plate chef delivery. There was an attempt at diversity, but quality of main course is just average. There was an expectation of proper Spanish cuisine, befitting a four star status, which didnt materialise. We found the restaurant staff unfriendly and frankly rude at times. Not all guests drink alchohol, and we were made to feel uncomfortable for not ordering any. There was no provision for teas and coffees at dinner. This was certainly not the 'four star' luxury experience paid for. The hotel management would do well to look at the dinner provision for quality improvements, and to consider a more flexible and considerate approach to its diverse customer needs.

Pros and cons after our week. Food: generally enjoyed meals and always found something I liked although as mentioned below the menu wasn't really suited to British guests. This is probably the most British thing I'll ever say when I say they didn't have gravy. Cleanliness: The housekeeping staff were a credit to the hotel and deserve every penny they earn. Towels changed daily, beds made and rooms cleaned to a high standard. Rooms: Bright, modern and clean but maybe lacking in bedside storage. No draws but small tables either side of beds. Only ITV missing from the 5 mainstream UK TV channels. Tip is they're not listed in the guide but if you scroll enough they should be there. Location: 2 mins from Fenals beach. A handful of British bars nearby which we didn't try except one. Buses to Barcelona (1hr) and Tossa de Mar (about 25 mins) from the top of the street. Bus to Lloret centre from literally outside the hotel. Pools: Large main pool and a kids pool with various small slides and splash accessories. Adults only jaccuzi area on the 7th floor. Originally told the area was open but no bar until one day when a family ignored the rules and peoples desire for quiet by taking their 6 or so kids up there. A complaint was made and rather than eject the kids we were threatened with closure of the area. Next day it was closed which management assured us it was nothing to do with the incident but we predicted it would get closed. Entertainment: Started off with a few nights of the animation team playing songs and taking requests which we enjoyed and one night a girl sang and spoke to guests in English and Spanish, again enjoyable. Then the real downside was when a coach load of Spanish guests arrived. Not the fault of those on the tour but a couple who I believe were part of the coach party sang their whole 1 hour+ show in Spanish without so much as speaking one word of English or any other language for that matter. Fair enough Spanish guest were a large proportion of those staying in the hotel but so were those of other nationalities. Marta ( manager) assured us things would be different after we endured 2 consecutive nights of this but on our last night it was yet another 100% Spanish night. A few issues for management to look at but having said that I would stay here again in the unlikely event we return to Lloret de Mar.

PPengguna TetamuMy experience at the excelsior hotel was outstanding. Everybody at the hotel gave excellent service & feel I have made more new friends with all the staff. I can only say, that I am really looking forward to going back to Lloret de Mar & staying at the Excelsior hotel next year, & for many years to come. I did tell Miguel, I thought the hotel desrved 50,000 stars due to how I felt about the cleanliness & the staff as a whole. Really great value for money. I would have expected to pay much more for such fantastic service. If there was a problem, the staff were always there to sort it out. Can not praise the whol;e staff enough. I love them all.

PPengguna TetamuHôtel situé près du stade de football de Lloret, un peu à l'écart de l'agitation et à proximité immédiate des rues offrant de quoi faire du shopping. A environ 500m à pieds de la grande plage. Hôtel très propre. Personnel à l'accueil très aimable et parlant également français. Le cadre est magnifique avec sa piscine qui s'illumine la nuit. Le buffet du soir était correct. A noter que les boissons sont payantes et non incluses, ce qui est un peu dommage. Le petit déjeuner est de type continental avec café, confitures, oeufs, bacon, fromage, céréales, ect... On y trouve tout ce que l'on veut. L'accès à la piscine intérieure, au Spa et aux installations de sports est payante. Ce qui est dommage aussi. Il vaudrait mieux déterminer un prix final avec les options incluses plutôt que de devoir se promener avec sa carte bancaire pour les boissons et installations. Le soir, il y avait une animation musicale. Le public était des séniors. Je recommande cet hôtel pour des séniors mais pas pour des jeunes, des trentenaires, quarantenaires ou cinquantenaires. Moi j'ai 50 ans, j'aime m'amuser et l'hôtel n'est pas fait pour moi, surtout quand on vient à Lloret de mar. Pour se détendre, être au calme, cet hôtel sera idéal pour vous et surtout il n'y a pas d'enfants et ça, quand on veut se reposer, c'est super !
