Great location to view the city from the main viewing point and an easy walk into the town. Good easy parking and rooms did exactly what we expected. On site cafe snack bar was very good and great helpful service. Local restaurants near by. Very nice helpful reception staff. Great value for money.

Awesome boutique hotel in the center of Ávila - having visited the city a number of times now I would say this is arguably the best in town at the moment, representing excellent value for money for those looking for a remarkable stay in this remarkable city. Staff were really useful and catering services (breakfast, restaurant, cafeteria/terrace) were outstanding. The restaurant and the cafeteria/terrace (they share a great deal of the menu) are worth a visit on their own.

Palacio de los Velada is a converted palace with lots of historic charm. Centrally located in the main plaza right next to the cathedral, you can't get a better location. Walk out the door and you are right next to everything. Check-in was efficient, rooms are clean, and there are lots of old-style European details in the rooms and bathrooms. The buffet breakfast is one of the best I've had; you don't get tired of the choices. Fresh fruit, charcuterie, tortilla española, and churros supplement all kinds of traditional choices of pastries and other breakfast items.

We stayed in this hotel for one night when traveling through Spain. We were a family of 8 and rented several rooms. All rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The only complaint was that the beds were really hard. I know many beds in Europe are harder than what we have in the US but it was very difficult to sleep. However area is great and the town itself was magical! We really enjoyed our time there and wished we had more time to explore!
