AArp303This hotel does a really good job of capturing the “Hard Rock” vibe so if you’re into that you’ll enjoy your stay at this property. Lots of memorabilia dotted around, great music and some lovely touches around the hotel.
We stayed in a deluxe room which was small but furnished to a good standard with a very comfy bed. Bathroom was well equipped and the balcony was a decent size. Jukebox feature on the TV is excellent and allows you to get the party started before you go out or continue it after hours in your room. Having YouTube on the TV is handy too.
The pools were good, there’s 2 pretty large ones and they look great during the day and night.
The rooftop deck is quite chilled, it has a bar and an infinity pool with beds to suit everyone really, lots of variety so standard cushioned beds and lower body shaped beds. There are several “Bali beds” that come with a 150 Euro minimum spend. Sounds like alot but the food & drink isn’t cheap so can be done relatively easily if you plan to stay at the pool all day and have lunch. The pools are shallow but a good size and the infinity pool offers a brilliant view over the second pool area. The second pool area features a stage and DJ booth at the top of the pool and is louder. The pool parties that Hard Rock offer are held here during the day as well so bear that in mind when selecting your bed. There is an “Eden Cafe” in this area offering burgers and the like during the day and the main “Sessions” restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner too if you book half board.
We booked bed & breakfast so didn’t eat dinner at the property. We did have lunch on our first afternoon at the Eden cafe and it was very good. The breakfast offers an excellent selection & its tasty. They also have a musicians playing a different instrument each day on the outdoor terrace which is a nice touch.
The bar area in the lobby lacks atmosphere and is a little on the slow side to get a drink. The cocktails are good though and its worthwhile having a drink there, especially if a live band is on.
Service at the hotel was very good overall and we very much enjoyed our stay. The bellhops in particular are excellent. They provided us with a “courtesy room” on checkout day (we had a late flight) which was a nice touch after having checked out already and been out all day.
The location of the hotel was further out than we thought and required you to either walk through a large, unkept subway or walk down narrow busy roads with several hills. The subway route is best and takes around 15 mins to Porto Banus but is not ideal at night. We had no issues and saw no undesirables but I do think Hard Rock could do more to make that subway more inviting (clean it, add their branding, have music playing etc). I don’t think they own it but perhaps they should take ownership of how it looks at the very least as it could quite easily put some people off staying at the hotel.
The “****** Marbella” is attached to the hotel. It’s a nice ****** but lacks atmosphere. You also need your passport to enter (I had to go back to the room) so bear that in mind too. There is a handy supermarket opposite the hotel that has a great selection of snacks, ice cream, toiletries, booze etc plus it’s really cheap. There’s a lovely little bar called “Park Lane Sports Bar” that is family run and really charming. The drinks are cheap and the people who run it are very friendly. The resident dog “Lolo” is also quite a character and really makes the bar. We also ate at a lovely little Spanish restaurant called “Noto” - the prawns, pizza and service was excellent.
There are more luxurious hotels to stay in Marbella and hotels in nicer locations but for a party vibe, good food & drink, strong pool decks and friendly service the Hard Rock is a solid choice.

Most important point - we will stay here again when we return to Malaga if they have rooms available! Pleasant tourist hotel. The rating is relative to the hotel class and price - luxury hotels of course exist and are nicer but in my experiences in Europe, this is a 'best in class.' Nice spacious and clean rooms. Excellent and helpful staff and everyone had a high level of English so we could forego our poor Spanish. The staff helped us extend our reservation through a fully booked Saturday night AND found a way to keep us in the same rooms.

PPengguna TetamuApt RSEG. DO NOT ACCEPT ON CHECK IN. We had a young toddler with us. Our apartment was in a separate building across a road up a hill. This was not conducive to using the pool facilities. Given we had to go down the road anyway, we ended up going to the beach and paying to use so loungers. To access the pool from our building, you had to cross the road and carry the buggy down steps. It was not accessible. Our only outside space felt like a cage.
We had to sign an antisocial behaviour policy at check in. This gave false reassurance. We had a full blown party in the apartment above us. I complained to reception. No action was taken. There were no staff in our building to notice. I had to complain again the second night.
We had ants in our apartment. The response was to give us a can of insect spray.
The bathroom door was warped and would not close.
The bathroom shower leaked all over the apartment including the bedroom.. They came up and told us it was fine. No cleaning offered. It happened again the next morning. The bathroom door clearly showed damage so we were not the only ones to experience flooding. I again complained and they cleared the blockage. I had to ask again that they wash the floors given we had a toddler crawling on the filthy floors. The bedding was even wet from dragging in the flood.
Overall very disappointed.
The only redeeming aspect was one member of the front desk staff that was attentive and responsive when we spoke with him.
PPengguna TetamuI had the most amazing first time stay with my 3-year-old son. I’ve travelled and stayed in hotels all over the world and I can’t speak highly enough of the los amigos beach club. Everything about it it’s just right. Especially if you are with children. My room is extremely clean very modern and well presented and looked after. Everything was working fine and even though I didn’t request to get my room cleaned I always left me fresh towels or water outside my room.
The facilities are amazing and very clean and all the staff that work within the resort are extremely happy and helpful and have a great attitude which means a lot.
Also is situated in a great place tucked away from all the noise and hustle and bustle but just near enough everything so it is very easy to get about and visit places...
The restaurant is absolutely amazing as well and serves a beautiful breakfast as well as great lunch and dinner. Again extremely clean and well-kept and the staff are amazing and friendly and extremely helpful..
It’s one of those resorts where you just can’t wait to come back and stay another time and I know this will be somewhere that I bring my son back to every year without a doubt... it’s had so much of a massive positive impact on me!
Thanks so much from for the stay
Let’s get the bad out of the way first. Two of the many things I learned in over 40 years of being in business are 1. Never assume and 2.communicate, communicate, communicate. To the owners. If you wanted to see my passport details before you sent me the codes to access the building do so well beforehand and not on the day of arrival when I did not have access to WiFi.. When I eventually managed to reach you ( the number on the *********** confirmation yielded only an access to a Spanish call centre) your somewhat flippant response for me “ to chill and find a coffee house with WiFi” so that I could send you passport copies was not well received. Secondly if you are going to post instructions about how to enter the building using a code on a keypad, make sure that the instructions are correct. Yours are not! I encountered no fewer than three couples who could not gain access to the building due to your incorrect information. A similar situation occurs at apartment level. Finally don’t assume that everyone of your guests have the knowledge of how to operate kitchen devices. Provide instructions! The good. Whilst the building exterior is unpretentious the minute one gains entry to the foyer you are in another world. A cool ,fragrant and well appointed entrance suggests more to come. The apartment itself was immaculate, superbly clean and almost minimalistic in its decor. Everything that the website promised was true to a fault. I don’t know who the cleaning contractors are but the owners should stay with them! The bed was comfortable and the shower water plentiful and hot. Absolutely no complaints. An added bonus is that there is a fairly large and well stocked MAS supermarket no further than 60 metres from the building.Access to train and bus stations is in easy walking distance.

JJust OlyaThe hotel is located just 100dyers away from the airport but if you are with luggage, you will have to take a taxi that will cost you anywhere between 15 and 20 euro. If it’s Saturday evening you will pay 20. In fact, it’s the most expensive taxi in the world, as we paid 20 euro for a dive of 1000 meters, and that’s with official taxi ! Completely rip off so if you can, just avoid staying at the airport hotel.
Regarding this hotel, it’s of very poor quality. They claim that windows are sound proof but it’s not the case. The hotel is located between two very busy highways, so the noise is like you are siting on the side of a highway.
The beds are very uncomfortable and pillows are impossible to sleep, the management Shiism try to sleep on this pillow one night and treat a neck pain next morning.
The room is very hot and air is dry ( even if you try to control he temperature in the room ) it doesn’t se to work and you can not open the window for fresh air because of the enormous noise that comes from highway. So either bring the earplugs with you and ask the opposite side ( not facing the highway)
The only positive point: the rooms are quite spacious and the shower is ok too ( even though it just has a curtain instead of normal door you would expect in the shower)
Would not recommend staying there, and for the price of 20 euros for taxi you are better off staying at a better hotel closer to Malaga, with more comfort.
PPengguna TetamuAs nice as it looks I wouldn’t bother it wasn’t comfortable and worth the money 1.0 Liked · Even though the property was in a great location it was very noisy. The windows didn’t seem very insulated for sound. The street cleaning that started about 3 to 4 o’clock at night outside the apartment with a jet washer woke me up every night. As lovely as it is to church bells outside don’t expect to go to sleep in the afternoon or have a nap as they will wake you up. Disliked · I booked a room with a double bed and emailed previous to arrival to make sure this was going to be without a response from the email I ended up with two single Beds together. This is something I definitely didn’t want as it made it uncomfortable to sleep with a partner slipping down with Centre. Also I paid for early check-in I need to find that was pending once I got to the property. Once contacting someone regarding this the cleaners turn up to clean the property before we could get in why was this option available when it wasn’t available. Granted I had my €15 returned to me nevertheless waiting in the street for over an hour before accessing the apartment was pretty poor with bags. Also there was no rubber on the sink plug which was unable me to fill the sink to wash up. The apartment came with the kitchen small but useful. But being unable to wash up for 3 to 4 days made it pretty pointless and having smelly dishes and having to eat out an extra expense again was very poor. The owners told me that they had fixed the problem with the sink how would they know they were never there I fixed the problem with the sink by seeing the cleaners cleaning and apartment and they swapped over the plug. And if you are expecting to get good sleep at the apartment forget that. as nice as it is to have the street washed every night and hear church bells. Please be assured this will keep you awake at night no and in the afternoon so your sleep will be broken As my stay left me very tired. Once confront in the owners after the state for a refund they denied all accountability.

XX~tinaThe most bare hotel I have been to. Kettles need to be rented for a charge + deposit. There are no cups or cutlery in the room. Mini fridge is empty. I think I can understand why the hotel went for such measures given the crowd that is staying there - too many wild screaming Britons. Breakfast tables have nothing but a cloth. Lounge chairs are bare plastic making them very uncomfortable to use. Most of the chairs are in fact not available for use because guests dump their towels to reserve them and then not show up for hours. Staff allow this behaviour. The loud entertainment went on till 23:30 (accompanied by partying guests next door) so if you want to sleep any time before that - forget it, it's like trying to sleep inside a night club. Beach towels are not provided, bathroom towels cannot be taken out so if you didn't bring your own - tough. It is a beach property but the beach is private and hotel guests do not get any discounts. The shower was hot and had good pressure but there was hair left in the drain. Beds seemed good at first but I woke up with back pain. Went up to take a look at the roof terrace which looked lovely but we didn't stay for a drink. All in all the hotel was not for us and certainly would not recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing place.
