Hotel terbaik di Fontainebleau

Very pretty outside and superbly located to the chateau and eating places - this hotel is very well kept and charming. Our room was pretty sizeable and prettily appointed and perfect for us to settle into after a long day driving. The only problem was our room must have been directly above the kitchens downstairs as there was a hum that was audible through the floor and pillows the entire night which meant I didn’t get a good sleep. Other than that, it’s a nice hotel. If you’re noise sensitive though make sure you ask for a room away from the kitchens.

We stayed here for two nights, as we wanted to have plenty of time to visit the Chateau de Fontainebleau, which is about a ten minute walk straight down the road. There is a car park on site, although when we arrived it was a Sunday afternoon and the hotel was very busy, we did manage to find one small parking space in the end. There is garage parking if the car park is full, for a small fee. We drove past the hotel the first time, as it is also called Demeures de Campagne, which was a bit confusing as we thought it was the wrong hotel. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, which was good after our long drive. The room on the third floor was spacious and modern, although the bathroom had an over-bath shower (slippy bath) and was a bit dated. There are tea and coffee-making facilities (not all French hotels have these) with decent large china mugs, much appreciated after so many hotels provide paper cups. We usually bring our own teabags, as French hotels often only provide herbal/mint or lemon teabags. The room was a bit hot, despite the aircon. There is an attractive garden to sit outside and have a drink. We didn't use the pool or other leisure facilities, but there seemed to be plenty to do. We sat outside for dinner the first night, and inside the second night as storms were expected. We found the food better than some reviews indicate. I enjoyed two entrees and dessert as I often find main courses too filling. The pretty vintage crockery - mostly different and attractive designs - was a nice touch. We didn't have the breakfast as the area near the Chateau has several cafes. Fontainebleau was heaving and extremely busy when we arrived on the Sunday, so it was good to have somewhere to park. Monday was much quieter (note the Chateau is closed Tuesdays).

J’ai passé une excellente nuit dans cet hôtel. Le restaurant est haut de gamme et a offert un repas mémorable. La piscine assez grande dans l’espace spa ajoute une vraie touche de détente. Le personnel est très souriant et attentionné. La chambre était de taille correcte, bien que un peu bruyante le soir en raison de la rue animée de bar en contre bas. Idéalement situé, à deux pas du château. Je recommande !

This is a very well situated hotel and we booked here because we wanted to be close to the castle. We checked in in seconds. The room was small but more than enough for a couple of nights. The bathroom need better cleaning, in particular on the walls that seem to be stained. Breakfast is abundant with plenty of options to eat and even take away. My husband wants to com back because of how good breakfast was. Overall it is a nice hotel for a short trip.

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds and a fine Italian restaurant. It is within a 5 minute walk to the entry of Chateau Fontainebleu. We stayed in the room with a large terrace overlooking the gardens and enjoyed sitting there each evening. Our room was spotless with modern and fully equipment bathroom and shower etc. We had a great bluetooth speaker in the room which added to the comfort. We also enjoyed a lovely meal in the Restaurant on the patio during a lovely warm evening. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for one night to visit the Fontainebleau Palace. We arrived and checked-in via the automated system with no problems at all. A very nice gentelman came out to check up on us and showed us where the parking garage was. We really appreciated the hotel's parking and it was easy for us to unpack our luggage and go right up to our room via the elevator. Our room was big, clean and most importantly in August; cool! The bed was comfortable. The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from the palace and this was great for our visit. We had breakfast in the morning, and found it good. The staff was very active and replenishing items for breakfast every few minutes. Highly recommended.

Très bon hotel , personnel parfait tres agréable et rendant service , j'ai testé a cause de mon dos . Je recommande vivement .en plus dans le centre juste a coté du Chateau de Fontainebleau . très bien situé .

It is a budget hotel. We stayed for our sons graduation from ISEAD. Key code for the room is on the email you get. The rooms are spartan but clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable if you like them firm. No kettles in the room. Shower in bathroom. Clean towels after two days. Microwave in foyer and coin operated vending machines. Guidance Pizza Pizza next to the Indian Restaurant is excellent and good value. There is a large supermarket just a little toward the town centre. The No 1 bus takes you into the centre otherwise it is a thirty minute walk. In the centre of town near the Carousel a large roundabout there are lot as of places to eat. The trains to Paris cost 5 Euros from a machine outside the station and take 50 minutes.

The Petite Chateau de Barbizon was amazing! The restored chateau is both modern while retaining its grandeur. Our sleeping room was outstanding, comfortable and quiet. The antique furnishings add to the charm of the chateau. It’s the perfect location if visiting. @chateaufontainebleau or @chateauvlv.

Vorremmo dare più stelle perché il posto è incantevole, l’albergo dal fuori (un vecchio capanno di caccia) è veramente bello, ma i proprietari dovrebbero farsi delle serie domande sulla cura e la manutenzione dei dettagli della camera. Abbiamo soggiornato nell’unica junior suite. Bella. Spaziosa. Travi a vista. Camera e bagno puliti. Ma poi… Lampada sul comodino traballante, seconda presa non funzionante. Macchinetta del caffè e bollitore senza zucchero, bustine del tè inesistenti, solo due bustine di caffè. Le posate erano in cassaforte! I rotolanti esterni non chiudono bene. I curtesy set in bagno? Inesistenti. La doccia è in una stato pietoso, domina il calcare. Ciabattine e accappatoio? Abbiamo dovuto richiederli. L’aria condizionata che non funziona con tanto di notifica sullo schermo ‘necessità pulizia’. E poi, per chiudere la tendina della finestra nel tetto si deve salire su una seggiolina traballante stile Louis XV. Tendina non in buono stato che deve essere tenuta chiusa con un gancio fatto do it yourself! Colazione servita in camera : vassoio e cestino del pane privi di un qualsiasi tipo di centrino/salvietta… Viaggiamo davvero moltissimo. 4 e 5* sono nella norma ma ci capitano anche 3*. Ma una cura per il dettaglio inesistente come qui non l’abbiamo mai vista! È davvero un peccato perché ripeto: il posto è incantevole e vale la pena soggiornarci anche perché Barbizon è deliziosa e vale la pena visitarla. Siamo ripartiti delusi e non ci torneremo!
