A truly fantastic refurbishment, everything from the new outdoor furniture to the stunning decor inside and all the small details that some people seem to miss. The back garden is like a secret garden and you wouldn’t even know where you are. The menus both a la carte and breakfast have been completely changed and the food is seriously good. The bedrooms even though not refurb were clean, comfortable and spacious with all the amenities you need. A great stay, a great dinner, a great breakfast, you can’t fault this place. Forgot to mention the important bit, the staff are engaging, knowledgeable and professional.

Stayed for last night for one night after a full day in Chessington world of Adventures. So close it was perfect. We got the keys from the nearby hotel. Had to pay £200 deposit for each apartment I booked (pending in my account, hope it clears quickly as I'm away again tomorrow, will update review with this as can't comment yet) Both apartments booked were beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. No compalints from either families. We booked 2 one bedroom apartments one for us and one for friends. Our daughter slept in with my husband as I as the beds are huge! Or friends children slept on the sofa bed in their apartment and they said it was comfortable. Lots around, we managed to get a takeaway and more milk easily although having some milk, tea and coffee there when we got in was lovely and just what we needed. Next time we go to Chessington we will definitely be booking here again.

Recently stayed overnight for a birthday celebration. When we arrived at the hotel the checking in system wasn't working, there was some younger members of staff who appeared very flustered / awarkard when speaking with guests. This was eventually sorted via checking in manually. We staying in a Giraffe room overlooking the paddock, the inroom treasure hunt was a added bonus. Room was clean but needed some touch ups. With our room we got a complimentary swimming session which our little one loved, well worth it after a day in the park. We didn't eat in any of the restaurants due to prices of the food. Breakfast was typically self serve and the food was okay although not much selection on hot food but still something for everyone. Early access to the park good as it feels like you have the park to yourself. Overall we really enjoyed our stay so would return, although wouldn't agree to pay height of season prices.

We had dinner at The Mitre on Saturday 28th September. It was to celebrate my birthday with my family and it was a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and the service was very, very good. After dinner, while we waited outside for taxis one of the waiters ran up to me with my bracelet which must have come off before we left the table. I was so relieved as I hadn’t realised it had come off. Many thanks.

We stayed here overnight whilst visiting Hampton Court Palace, the hotel is just a 10 minute walk away. Our room was modern and clean but we found there wasn’t much room around the narrow, double bed, barely enough space for the very small tables on either side. We were well supplied with complimentary coffee and tea and there were towelling robes available for our use. We had our evening meal at the hotel which we really enjoyed, the quality of the food was excellent and good value for money. We were a little disappointed with our breakfast experience. Several things could have been done better, the toaster was faulty and inefficient, it needs replacing. Both our breakfast orders were served with items missing or not ordered, my poached eggs didn’t turn up and my husband had a sausage which hadn’t been ordered. It was a while before we received our tea and coffee, then we had to ask for milk. Having said that, the staff were quick to apologise. We found Jack and Diane to be particularly helpful and efficient. The hotel seemed to be very quiet during our stay and at times the staff seemed to be underworked.
