Overall this place is nice and it's in a good location. What I did not like was the laundry situation, upon checking in I asked about laundry and the women at the front desk said it was 7€ and I could get it back the next afternoon. Well the next night came and I had to go ask the front desk and they had to go look for it once I got the clothes back it was mostly ruined, I'm not sure what they did but my cream sweater was basically all grey and my husbands pants had grey spots on it. I would probably skip the laundry and do it down the street so they don't ruin your clothes. Plus it's a very small bag for them to be charging so much.

The hotel is conveniently located a three minute walk from the Glasgow Queen Street Station. Check-in was fast, the staff were friendly and helpful and we were in our room in no time at all. The room was impeccably clean and the amenities were perfect with a hairdryer, kettle, teas, coffees, hot chocolate, and a bottle of fresh drinking water all by the bedside. We wouldn't think twice before returning to the hotel. No complaints from me, A+++

The location is great. Just a min or less walk from Glasgow Queens Street Station and the bunchhan Street Subway. Also quite near to the bus stop where we took the airport Express to the airport. A basic and clean room with a complimentary mini bar. And is near to the shopping area.

You don't need to step outside: great food, great restaurant, great bar, and wonderful and friendly service. But should you decide to do so, you'll find yourself in the best corner of Scotland best city. (I'd say Britain's, but am still tossing up between Glasgow and Leeds!) Cafes, independent shops, bars and restaurants, walks, parks, and museums a cynical 15 year old had to be dragged out of. Fantastic time. We booked an extra night. Don't expect the Shangri la. But authentic and homely. I will be back.

Overall experience of Maldron hotel was very positive; it is situated in the centre of the city and a few minutes walk from the bus station. Pro's - Rooms were clean and tidy - Quite spacious - Very convenient; just a few minute walk from the city centre (just cross the road) - Front desk staff were very helpful and friendlly - Very comfortable beds Con's - Stay for 3 nights, and room was only cleaned on the day we were leaving.

I had an EXTREMELY WONDERFUL stay at the Spires Serviced Apartment in Glasgow, the flat itself I am calling a penthouse, with open view windows from its open kitchen to lounge area to overlook the city of Glasgow, and the bed is super comfortable. All well quipped flat with all the things you need, including laundry/drying machine and dish washer (both detergents provided), even the cheese board is prepared!!!!!!! Staff is super friendly and professional, I had a little check-in contingency as the key wasn’t working and it was 6ish pm, the staff was on holiday but still came all the way within half an hour to help me change the key! Super impressive! She greets everyone at reception all the time with a big smile!!!!! Excellent stay experience I have ever had in Glasgow!!!!!!! Love it so much!!!!!

My husband and I regularly stay at this hotel when we visit Glasgow. We had a five night stay at the end of August and everything was exemplary, as always. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and so brilliantly looked after by the incredible housekeeping team. I had a wonderful massage from Susan in the lovely treatment room which was an extra special treat! Danny is always a brilliant help, and the entire reception and bar teams are great and responsive to any requests. A special shout out though to Oksy who runs a beautiful and efficient bar. She is always so warm and welcoming, has great advice about drinks options, brings our drinks and other treats so quickly, and even remembered my husband’s allergies in between visits! It’s such a joy to sit in the bar, lovely atmosphere, and this is largely down to Oksy and her exceptional service. Thank you so much. We will be back!

Great practical hotel. Very easy access to Glasgow central station and the main shopping area. Rooms are clean and good value.

Have stayed in multiple Malmaison hotels across the UK, and know what 4 star is about, on this occasion they did not deliver a 4 star experience. A brand which portrays to be a little different and quirky this was just a basic hotel stay for me. For £150 you get a standard room so we requested on check in if any upgrades are available, this was an additional £20 - most importantly we requested a room with a bath to relax - this was possible. So for £170 you do expect a decent room - this just did not cut it. Room although visually your typical Malmaison design it was the basics that just did not deliver - room was not clean with lots of dust, in room fridge although on was broken, walls/skirtings heavily marked, bathroom shave lights & 1 ceiling light broken, however the main thing was the bath plug was just the completely wrong fitting and not functional - how anyone could even attach the wrong plug is beyond belief. After highlighting this with reception and although they did try to resolve the issue, a room move was not possible due to time constraints for attending a concert. Lots of road noise from 7am so did not have a great nights sleep - the hotel must be aware of these road works so to use those rooms is very inconsiderate without letting guests know - especially when they are aware you are visiting for leisure. Despite being offered 2 complimentary cocktails as an apology for the issue with the bath plug the overall stay was really not what I expected. The breakfast was OK, the service at breakfast was really friendly and genuine so thumbs up they really care about the guests. Upon raising the issues on check out the reception team were rather dismissive and really did not care. This maybe explains the overall standard the hotel is aiming to deliver - for me personally I will not return to this hotel as it has really let itself down, for this price bracket you can get more for your money.
