Hotel terbaik di Llanddoged and Maenan

I stayed here for 1 night as part of a business trip and am aleady looking to return with my Husband. From the moment I walked into the impressive entrance I was made to feel welcome, despite being a lone traveller which I am not used to. I stayed in the main manor house, room 108. There was a slightly musty smell in the bathroom but aside from that the room was gorgeous. The bed was extremely comfortable and lovely amenities including a coffee machine with pods and The White Company Toiletries. Caer Rhun is full of rooms with different nooks to relax in. Every area is carefully thought through and filled with candles and a delightful aroma. Games and books are available throughout and there is a fantastic cocktail bar with a log burning fire that I could have spent my entire night at. Normally I'd have an extra half hour in bed than bother with a continental breakfast but do not make that mistake here! Smoked salmon, fresh pancakes, pure honeycomb, self-service egg Boiler, cured meats, fresh fruit and pastries, the list goes on. Again, so simple but all so well done and to the highest quality. This is a perfect romantic break or quiet retreat and the room's themselves were of great value.

First time here, absolutely did not disappoint. Welcome was just right, efficient and informative. Stayed in Room 15, HUGE bed which was super comfortable, big room and ensuite, plenty of storage, amazing mountain views. Quiet room away from traffic noise, windows that open, important to us freshair freaks! Breakfast was first class. Dinner on both nights was very good, the Pinot Grigio was one of the best I have had! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Stables Bar next door was packed, and we both fancied a Sunday roast, so opted to eat there - and very pleased we did. It was quiet for a Sunday, which again pleased us. We had a lovely table and was very well looked after by Ceri (thank you). Sunday lunch was around £22 for 2 courses (or more for 3). We both had the garlic mushrooms for a starter followed by the Welsh beef (cooked perfectly) with all the trimmings. The gravy was probably the best I've ever tasted. Some of the beef was a bit gristly but there was plenty of it. The swede was a bit too peppery for both of us but the rest was all delicious. We came away feeling fat, full and happy and slept the rest of the afternoon off on the campsite!

Warm friendly atmosphere and the food was brilliant. Five star dining at reasonable prices. An extra special thank you to the lovely young gentleman Matt who went above and beyond to make our visit extra special, he really was the cherry on top of an excellent visit would go again.

Stayed here recently. Firstly the good points:- tasty evening meal, friendly staff, very nice cooked breakfast, nice sauna very central location to visit the waterfalls and town, nice hot shower, free parking. Bad points :- walls are very thin so if like us you have very rowdy people next door until the early hours then it could be an issue, view from our room was a dumping ground, shower curtain was mouldy and the mattress was not really upto standard being one of those cheap ones where the springs don't really support you.room had a few cobwebs.
