1、酒店裡在彭贊斯城邊的一個小坡上，走到市中心也就20分鐘之內，其實對於旅行來說還是很方便的，離彭贊斯火車站和港口也都很近。開車去看聖米歇爾山也就15分鐘。 2、酒店提供了很多零食，海景房風景極好，很值得推薦。早餐如果要點熱食需要加收一點費用，其他餐品的質量也都不錯。 3、如果自駕過來，需要電話酒店預訂停車位，大約4.5英鎊一天停車費。 4、酒店的取消政策是提前14天可以取消。 5、酒店的樓道比較窄且沒有電梯，有太大件行李可能不太方便。

Felt the need to post a review after reading some of the previous comments. We stayed here for one night before travelling to the Isles of Scilly. We arrived by train and the location could not be more convenient for both the station and the ferry. The town centre is also easily accessible and coastal walks in either direction are on your doorstep. Our room wasn’t large but was spotlessly clean and had everything you need. Bed was comfy and shower hot. Tea and coffee making facilities provided. It is on a busy main road but we knew this before we booked and actually found it quieter than expected. It certainly didn’t affect our sleep. The pub next door was no problem either. The price was considerably cheaper than the Premier Inn down the road and included an excellent cooked breakfast. Some people must be extremely hard to please! We shall look forward to staying again.

We had a 3 night stay and it was very nice. It’s situated a 5 minute walk from the train station and buses. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. In addition to breakfast we had dinner on a couple of nights too and the food each time was delicious. All the staff we met were super friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. I loved all the signs along the hallway giving directions to reception- it’s so easy to get confused in these old buildings

Bay Lodge is a lovely bright and airy home. I call it a home because that is what it felt like the owners are very welcoming and can’t do enough for you. Bed linen and towels are pristine but bath towel could be bigger for me. Breakfast was fantastic well cooked and well presented with a cheery smile. Would not hesitate in stopping here again. We only saw the owner the last morning to pay. I had received a message before we arrived, with the instructions and the number of our room. The keys of our room were left on the door and the main door was left open all the time. We don't particularly like this system, but I found this quite often around the UK and Scotland. Also, the owner was always reachable over the phone and everything we requested was done and provided. Our room was big. Breakfast was self service in the room so they provided fresh fruits, milk, yoghurt, orange juice, eggs, bread, jam, butter, tea and coffee every morning. We had a microwave, cutlery, glasses, cups and plates. The negative aspects for us were: - smelly entrance. The carpet looked very old and, together with the smell did not give a good impression - our room was big but too full of stuff. There were blankets and bed nets under the beds and all sorts of paintings, mirrors and bedside tables. It felt too full of things. There was no attention to details in terms of furniture. Mattresses were different in different beds and not great to sleep (however this may be just personal taste). - too much light in our room as the light on the corridor was constantly on and there was a big window on top of the door so it was very bright in the room. Overall, it is a good average solution if you have to stop in Penzance as it is basically on the promenade and only 10 minutes walking from the city centre.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was really clean and very quiet, and the contactless experience was a big bonus. Very happy with the location and the amenities, just a short distance from the Promenade. Definitely recommend and would go back!

I have been staying here for a number of years now whilst doing a painting course in Newlyn and fully expect to return next year. The hotel is stylish with good public spaces inside and out. Staff remain the key asset being the perfect mix of friendly and efficient. My double overlooked the back and was fine for one person but might be a squeeze for two. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite shower was ok although it took a few minutes for the water to come up to temperature and water pressure is a bit mild. Towels are nice and fluffy, the toiletries are good and there are slippers but a bath robe would be welcome. There was a small fridge which was useful but the mini bar products were just layed out on the two shelves which are really needed for guests having them in a basket that sits on one shelf would.be better. Breakfast is not included but I did try the granola which was excellent as was the capuccino and pastry.

The breakfast buffet spread was good..however The room window was very small and high..you can’t view outside which makes the room look even smaller.. good for overnight stay
