Very clean, room cosy and spacious, friendly staff, honestly I can’t fault it. I checked out early so I didn’t have any breakfast but I had a lovely stay. I definitely recommend it and will be back!

Absolutely perfect in every way. Nothing is too much trouble, self checkin was very simple and my accommodation is spotless. Lots of extra touch’s like the coffee, tea, sweets and biscuits. Everything has been thought of. This is definitely my new favourite hotel in Preston.

The Tickled Trout Hotel was a great hotel. We only stayed 1 night, room was bigger than I thought it would be. Only 1 problem was that the bathroom needs a complete revamp because it is extremely dated. There was only a trickle of water from the shower head. Eventually we got hot water, it took ages to come. The rooms are a little dated but they r cute.

Friendly reception, very clean, superb breakfast, great hotel, our only criticism was the room lighting was very poor. The bulbs must have been ultra low wattage.

The service and staff are in good quality and friendly. However, for amenities, it should be much better if there is a wardrobe with hangers to hang more clothes. Plus, if the included breakfast have hash brown and less salty, that would be good. Appreciated that the refill and the moma porridge is fast and good. Will recommend people to stay with it while travelling nearby Preston

Hotel was erg goed gelegen en de service was goed. De schoonmaak was ook goed al waren er wel een paar dingen aan de hotel kamer die er vies of onverzorgd uitzagen zoals: wc bril, bed frame, vloerbedekking vlekken.
Verder was de service goed.
Qua faciliteiten was het ook gaaf om een fitness te hebben. Alleen jammer dat je tot savonds laat mensen hoort rennen als je op de 6e etage een kamer hebt. Liever dan geen fitness in het hotel.

Just got home after staying in The Blue Spruce penthouse apartment here. Cannot fault the apartment. Was a good size lounge kitchen area, bedroom a good size and so was the bathroom with large shower plus freestanding bath. The only problem was the smell when we went into the bedroom. Definitely a cat piss smell...even though it's supposed to be ” no pets” policy. Messaged the owners who said the smell must be coming from outside...it wasn't! They told us they would send someone to change the bedding...not the issue as the bedding was clean! I messaged back telling them this. On returning back in on Saturday evening the smell was just as bad....had to have a fan on and windows open all night. On leaving on Sunday morning I messaged the owners again saying the smell was on the carpet in the corner of the bedroom...definitely a cat piss smell!! Now 3 hours later and no reply from them to say they've been to check it out...or sorry your stay wasn't as enjoyable as we would of hoped. Not the best service. Wouldn't stay again or recommend the place unfortunately as other reviews were good.

Really nice place to stay i was never bothered by anyone very private, bit cold in room but not a big deal for me .Close to everything in preston cant go wrong enjoyed my stay i will be staying here again
