We stayed in Owl's Burrow the first weekend in January. Nothing was too much trouble, I preordered a bottle of wine for the room and it was ready and waiting, The check in was easy and the service was always incredible. The bar was very well stocked and the seating area in reception was lovely to sit and have a drink. 24 hour bar so we returned after a meal to have more drinks with the night porter, who was lovely and made our evening! The breakfast is absolutely fantastic, I would recommend it to anyone! Best scrambled eggs I've had! The room was really clean and everything was there you could ever need. Fresh milk, cold water, great toiletries. Room was a good temperature and a fan was provided. Bed was extremely comfortable and I had a great sleep. Good parking facilities too. We will be back!

Very comfortable stay, spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. Bath robes are a nice touch. Tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits which you can top up from stations on each corridor. Breakfast was very good.

Me and my son stayed here for 1 night as we were travelling from London to see the match at Hillsborough , we were greeted by very friendly receptionist and sorted out our booking which we had booked on the wrong date, oh dear 😅, we managed to get the last room available. Easy walking distance to the ground and we even went to the dogs in the evening, comfortable room and a nice breakfast. Great history to the place free parking couldn’t go wrong did exactly what we needed, would recommend

设施：simple 卫生：i think good 环境：it's a little pub garden hotel. amazing you can have a cup of beer here after shower. i heard that it's livery when u moved in on Wednesday or Sunday. many people will drink here, play here also ******** if u like. quite nice 服务：people are enthusiastic 作为一名中国人来到这可能一开始会不习惯，因为这里的气氛非常好，在这边住还能在花园内享受一下当地的小酒馆文化😂惊艳到我了，一进门就很多人在两边喝啤酒仿佛这里并不是一个旅馆。基本上当地人才会来这家店喝酒解闷，你也可以来试试，如果你想体会下这里的生活，不过周三和周日这里很多人可能会有点吵闹，其他时间很安静的。

I wouldn't consider this a good stay, as I encountered several issues. First, the check-in process was a hassle since this hotel doesn't have a front desk. I spent hours calling the hotel, facing either ”Line busy” or no response after a long wait. If it wasn’t for Trip.com's customer service finally connecting with the hotel, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Second, the wooden door in my room was difficult to close; it required a hard push and made a loud ”bang.” The glass sliding door of the shower room was also problematic, it fell out on my first pull, and I'm certainly not strong enough to break a door with just one pull. Lastly, and most frustratingly, was the toilet paper situation. It was my first time encountering a toilet without a single roll of paper. I can't imagine what I would be if I hadn't brought my own in my bag that day. On a positive note, the room was well-equipped with a fridge, oven, heater, toaster, and even an iron, which suggests the hotel might have been quite good when the things are all good a few years ago, but not now.

There wasn't much need for service with a one night stay but, it looked as though if needed, it was there. Location was OK if the canal side bars were accessible through the rear of the lobby but it was locked so had to turn a 2min walk into a 10min walk but not the end of the world. There were hairs in the bath and some rubbish in the corner of the room but other than that, all was fine. Loved they had an iron and ironing board but the cover was a little grotty. Overall, I'd stay again.
