Shower had no pressure and not very hot . Room cold no heating. Bedding was only sheet when we ask for a duvet was given a sheet to keep warm . Plus they only had one bath towel for a couple. Won’t be staying here again . Very disappointed with noise early in morning

We booked to stay, as we were attending a 60th Birthday party at the Hotel. We booked and paid online so checking was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very spacious with a large king size bed. Which was extremely comfortable! We were impressed with the newly renovated bathroom, with lovely soft fluffy towels. The room has all the amenities that we needed ie iron, hairdryer and extra pillows. We booked a room with breakfast - which was excellent and was available till 10.30 which was great. A good array of hot food included quality sausages and bacon. All the breakfast staff were very helpful and genuinely cheerful, as were the reception staff and the bar staff and food servers at the evening function. We really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were very professional and friendly, however, I paid extra for an upgrade room , with larger bed.The bed was a basic double.The bathroom was extremely small , not acceptable really .There was no adequate mirror in the bedroom either .This spoilt our stay .

3/21/23 This email is to compliment your staff, specifically, Kim at the front desk, Libby the bar tender and Andrew your head chef. We were unexpected guests at your property on Monday, 3/13/2023. We got stuck at Heathrow Airport because of weather. We had been on the go for more than 20+ hours while traveling from Santorini Greece back home to Boston USA via London. We were very hungry. There was nothing open at Heathrow to grab any food and we were not going to sleep in the airport. We began our search for a nearby hotel that was a brand name we knew, had good reviews and most importantly had 24-hour room service. It was after 10pm when we arrived at the Shepperton hotel. Sadly we learned upon arrival that the kitchen had closed at 10pm and that the hotel does not have 24-hours room service. (This is something that should be updated on your website.) However, there was a solution for us waiting in the wings. Unbeknownst to us Andrew was in the bar area and heard me sharing with Libby our story of exhaustion, frustration, and disappointment that we could not get any dinner. Andrew jumped into action, came over to me, was polite, kind and caring and said, “you have to eat.” He went into his kitchen team and asked that they cook us cheeseburgers and French fries. Libby provided us with a couple glasses of wine on the house and Kim at the front desk shared with us her personal mobile phone charger. You see, we had no luggage when we got to your hotel, so we did not have our converters for our US pronged Apple iPhones. The above and beyond service that Kim, Libby and Andrew provided was a game changer. This trio of employees exceeded our expectations and ensured they took care of our nutritional needs, comfort, safety, and wellbeing. I spent 2 very pleasant nights at this hotel. My room was large and extremely comfortable, well-equipped and with very nice toiletries. Towels were fluffy and large (not always so in all hotels) & the shower was amazing. Staff were always very pleasant and helpful. The reason I have only given 4 stars is that I had a couple of issues - 1 that it was impossible to get the tv working for any length of time. It seems it's a Sky handset & I found it difficult to access tv. 2 people came to look at it including maintenance man but it was not fully resolved. Also my A/C heating was making intermittent clunking noises - the maintenance man's solution was for me to turn it off so it didn't disturb my sleep on my 2nd night. Despite these problems I would still recommend this hotel, & would return if I'm in the area again.

We booked the restaurant for Christmas day as we had been twice before. The service was poor as we weren't asked if we wanted drinks until we had to go to the bar ourselves after which we were only asked once. The starters were not great.. I had ordered the veal which looked like it was just slapped on the plate and my partner had ordered the scallops which were dry and tasted like they had been cooked hours before and left under the heat lamps. It took an age for the mains to come out after the starters. The same was with the mains....! The potatoes were not crispy and felted heated up in a microwave and my beef was so fatty and under cooked as I had trouble cutting it. It also came out luke warm. The turkey was dry and when turkey and gammon were ordered together, only 1 small slice of turkey was on the plate in comparison to the cheaper gammon. The turkey was extra dry where it had been kept warm under the lamps and there wasn't any stuffing... Shocking!! The desserts were just as bad! The Christmas pudding came out cut into quarters rather than individual portions and I even made a comment to the waitress ”Where is the rest of it”. Which was totally ignored.... After this we were still charged 12.5% service charge each for poor quality food and poor quality service. The only positive experience was the young lady behind the bar. I can definitely say we will not be going back especially when we were charged £100 per person plus the service charge for something I would be reluctant to pay as much as £25 for... Very, Very disappointed....

Absolutely brilliant hotel!! Me and my boyfriend stayed mainly for Thorpe park it was an incredible location for it. 4 mins from the park! It's a lovely hotel attached to a lovely pub with impeccable food! We came down for our anniversary and decided to eat at the pub was well, it was worth it! Has a lovely outside area with heaters if you want to sit outside or smoke! Dave and Emily were incredible thier service is like no other! We had a problem with our ac in the room and they fixed within 2 hours as we was out at the cinema! They do everything the staff they attend to customers in the bar as well as customers staying in the hotel they do it all! I cant fault our stay at all! We'll definitely be back and be telling people how great it is and how close it is to thorpe park! The price was great as well! I didn't even want to leave I had such a lovely few days there.
