I cant thank the staff enough for such a fabulous evening last night….From the moment I spoke to Frankie over the phone to book my work event I had every confidence we were going to be well looked after and I wasn’t wrong. A special mention to Abby, Toni Sophea & Libby for looking after us so well and catering for all of our needs, nothing was too much trouble. We had a set menu with 4 choices of starters, mains and desserts and every dish was immaculately presented and tasted amazing so a huge thank you to Luke the chef for delivering such a high standard of food. Everyone that attended the event couldnt speak highly enough of the food, venue, staff and service we received. I have already been asked if we can book our Christmas work event here and its an absolute yes from me if you will have us back? Thanks again everyone! Felicity X

Arrived for a stay over to attend a wedding at another hotel. I had 3 kids in tow of various ages so was very busy getting them settled in. The hotel staff and particularly Mervin were first rate in finding everything from hair bobbles for my young daughter as well as sorting out a spare bed. Those small things made my life easier for the night of our stay and getting everyone ready for a posh wedding. Thank you

Difficult to sleep because the pillows were too bulky and incompressible and the room was too hot. I turned the radiator to minimum but it took hours to cool ( I could have opened the window.)

Fabulous place! Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Staff were super friendly even when I locked myself out of the room twice. Rooms were beautiful. We stayed there with 3 other couples and every room was unique and tastefully done. The attention to detail really gave this place the edge - the sloe gin in the room with the little note and the whiskey in the drawing room. The breakfast in the morning was top notch quality aswell! Really excellent value for money aswell. Am looking for an excuse to come back as we were visiting for a friend’s birthday. Thankyou to all the staff there. Living in the Cotswolds, we know our nice pubs and this is up there with the best! Just wish we lived closer to have it as our local ☺️

From the time we arrived we were given a warm welcome from Ellie D. She was in the Mansion house reception and even though we had arrived 2 hours early for checkout. She was happy enough to check if our room was cleaned already. The room was not and she provided us with a card which enabled us to use the fitness center facilities. What I particularly liked was she made a point to come from behind the reception area and talk to us, acknowledging it was more personal. The leisure facilities was in the more modern part of the hotel, which the main resturant is located. The swimming pool is quite shallow and the spa is just a sauna. The spa facility could do with a jacuzzi and steam room In the modern part of the hotel, we visited the reception to identify whether we could exchange our room to be located there. We were greeted by Diaa and Nissrine Laasal (front of house manager). Both were exceptional in dealing with our request, returning any additional fee and booking us into a lovely room which would not effect my partner's mobility. The final touch was Nisserine provided us with a bar of chocolate and even went to get my partner some chocolate brownies. The staff are what make this hotel special, the grounds are amazing and if you play golf you are in for a treat.
