Quick booking we arrived at 7pm had to check-in at the reception next door holiday inn very quick and smooth, was confused as its within the hotel itself and opened the doing to a beautiful spacious apartment we bought food from a local restaurant was lovely to eat and use the kitchen with a dishwasher too! The bed was huge but rock hard... the only thing we disliked was the stifling heat absolutely no air and no air conditioning whatsoever! There was a tower fan and a normal fan provided but didn't make any difference whatsoever although it was July it was torrential rain outside English weather so wasn't hot outside I had to have 3 showers and kept having to go outside during the night to get air , didn't have a comfortable sleep whatsoever and tge fans on all night long either side of the bed with the windows open only around a cm because that's as far as they would go, but if there was aircon this would of been my favourite stay ever ,the local shops restaurants and town centre is a 10 min walk away and parking is £8 per night even with a disability badge. Your able to use the facilities in hotel for food and drinks but we used the local restaurants nearby and used the fridge for our own bought alcohol because it was raining outside... staff was above and beyond.

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with moden décor throughout. Our toom was on the second floor, and the room wasn't bad, clean with crisp white bed sheets. The hotel offers breakfast as an added charge. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately, I can't not remember the two staff members' names whilst staying there, but customer service was impeccable. Would definitely recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

From approaching registration until leaving, everyone was good humoured, friendly and extremely helpful. Room was clean and very comfortable.

Located near the Watford Junction, in walkable distance to the High Street.
Carpark charged at £8 which is very reasonable.
Room size is bigger compared to the hotels nearby in on the same street.

It’s a very nice hotel, good location, and ambiance. I had two beds in my room which was nice. But, I was disappointed with their service, I had to stay at the front desk for a while before o could check in, and this was down to not enough stay working. I couldn’t even buy a cup of coffee because the person serving at the bar was cleaning and couldn’t sell coffee for me first before going back to their cleaning. This was very disappointing for me and made me have a bad impression of the hotel from that point.

Helpful front desk , breakfast was very nice and staff at the breakfast was very friendly and welcoming, one of the best friendly hotel.
Location is the very convenient if you are visiting the Warner bros. Harry Potter experience. I would recommend this hotel 1st time

Such a disappointing experience at the Feast on cloud 9 at The Grove Watford. The serving staff were under qualified ands stressed out throughout the full event. The service was very poor, my husband was served non veg food after us requesting vegetarian meals / the wrong wine was served to us (and when I say served, left in an ice bucket far from our table). Drinks we ordered were not delivered, plates were not cleared as new dishes were brought and the table was covered in ants. We frequent The Grove a lot with our family, and we highly disappointed about the over all quality of this event.

Nice room, nice food, nice breakfast, nice staff, nice bar, decent pool (heated and clean but needs revamping) and nice grounds. It was very quiet as it was New Year’s Day but they still charged £10 for an extra hour at checkout.. otherwise perfect stay.
