The room and food are great. The thing I guess needed to make it simple while checking in is to give us the room as we think we believe we should get from you your best. Your front desk staff should not instruct us to double check the items you provide us in the room. Upon check out I know that you wish to check what you provide is what you get back, that is fine.

Everything is a little slower and grungier today as tourist-oriented Indonesia still reels from their covid shut down and Bagus Bay is no exception. Don't expect 5-star accommodations but know that the staff are kind and helpful and even those who don't speak much English will try to help you figure things out. Sadly, the Wed/Sat Batak dances don't seem to be happening even though they are still advertised. Good value budget place with some beautiful (and some dull) architecture and rooms. Bring all your own toiletries, including soap, since those aren't included. It is a popular place with both local families and foreigners and the restaurant has tasty food.

Hotel ini terletak di lereng bukit/cerun. Penerimaan adalah di bahagian atas di mana seseorang akan diturunkan. Jika anda mempunyai masalah mobiliti, adalah penting untuk meminta bilik di tingkat lobi. Kami diperuntukkan sebuah bilik yang menghadap tasik, di bahagian paling bawah. Pemandangan matahari terbit yang indah dan airnya berada beberapa langkah di bawah bilik kami. Isunya ialah apabila kami memerlukan sesuatu (saya sangat sakit), tiada telefon /interkom di dalam bilik (atau aras lantai kami- tiada apa yang kami lihat). Jadi salah seorang daripada kami terpaksa berjalan dalam hujan untuk pergi ke resepsi. Kakitangannya ramah dan membantu.
Biliknya sp**** tetapi dengan aircond dan pancuran air panas. Mungkin pihak pengurusan akan mempertimbangkan untuk menanggalkan lampu loket putih untuk menggantikan dengan sesuatu yang lebih lembut untuk mata apabila seseorang itu berada di atas katil. Jika tidak, bilik itu selesa.

Stay here during our trip to Lake Toba. Suprisingly, the hotel we booked is two-story room. Its so suspicious. Enough for us 5 people. But the room prepared 2 pillows for each bed so if you have more people, you need to bring extra pillow. There is no a/c and only have fan since its already cold there. Our room really in front of the lake. You can rest while enjoy the view of the lake.

Gastfreundschaft geht anders .Die Begrüßung war kurz und knapp .Wortlos wurde ich zu meinem Zimmer geführt .Frühstück gibt es aber nur auf Nachfrage .Eine Zimmerreinigung wurde nicht durchgeführt.Kurzum die Lage ist super aber bei einer Insel nicht schwer .Ich würde nicht mehr dort buchen .
