nice place to stay in the middle of the city! Their swimming pool has a very beautiful view and i can see mount rinjani from there too. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean but maybe the food need to be upgrade for variatif menu. overall very recommended!

Dari Bali sampai lombok malam hari sekitar jam 12, Pelayanan bagus, untuk kamar lumayan bersih dan makanan enak, tempat strategis banget dekat islamic center Mataram pas di pusat kota dan juga taman udayana... Cocok bagi backpaker atau pebisnis yang mau menginap disini krn harga juga terjangkau

Great location near Islamic Center.
Room size is standard with quite small free space, but the bed is comfort.
It will be better if the room is refurbished and getting more cleaned

This is not my first time came here, and the situation is the same. The cleanness and the ambience still the same. Only a little incidents like a noise sound from the machine pomp and the internet connection from my room is annoying but the GM directly promt response and I moved to the room where I used to in that hotel in the next day , so everything is ok . The croissant is delicious also lupis and getuk the traditional cake, maybe in other days I can taste plecing kangkung here and ayam taliwang. All the team are friendly and helpfull . I will come back again

My family stayed here for 2 nights. It was super nice they gave our room an extra bed on the day of our arrival, however we had teribble experience in the first night. Our room had several electricty power failure several times (6 - 7 times) and finally they offer us to move to other room, and suddenly they charged for extra bed, I was so upset and told the receptionist to put the extra bed charge to our bill and I asked to meet the manager first in the morning. In the morning i met Ibu Aming their hotel manager, she was super nice and being sympathetic, after hearing my story she waive extra bed charge from our bill and even offer us to upgrade to deluxe room. I definitely recommend Sunwood Hotel if you are looking for city hotel in Mataram, they got everything you need, pool, spa, restaurant and variety of foods in breakfast buffet.

PPengguna TetamuI marked a point down as the ac unit leaked water all night long, otherwise the room was fine, though there is no balcony.
Breakfast was good, the pool was pretty usable but not very big and the gym had some free weights, treadmills and multi gym and was fine to use.
The biggest let down was it's so far away from anywhere unless you have your own transport

KKeen explorerA local 4-star hotel with just a so so location and service.
Location was said quiet close by many food options but there is better location than this hotel.
As for Service, I asked for the price for whole day rental for a car and front desk said someone will call me to my room but it turn out no one really call me.
Amenities just below par, towel are old. No hand or face towel, or maybe this is just the hotel standard.
The floor where I stayed, is dark and did not give good impression.

LLuvLeiaSuper value for money. Room clean with very comfortable bed. Location is great with a convenient shop right next door. Breakfast exceeded expectations for the price paid. Loved that they had water dispenser on every floor to refill water.

PPengguna TetamuStaff try very hard to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't incredibly fancy but it tasted good and had nice touches like actual wheat bread. Near lots of shops and street food, there's not a lot for tourists in this town but this is probably the best neighborhood to be in if you are passing through. The room was nice and clean, only bad part was the mattress needed replacement. Maybe as things things pick up post-pandemic they will fix that.

FFanosIt is located near epicentrum. This is an okay hotel if you need to re-check your needs to Gili. If you forget some things (Like I do. I forget to bring suimsuit. Wow...isn't it?) I bought some suim suit at the mall. Nail clipper, sunblock too. Other than that, I dunno why I would recommend this hotel. I could have been wiser to spend my money at other hotel. But if you must, don't try their breakfast. Un-hygiene. This is not suitable for family with kids.

MMichael AnsgarOverall I had a pleasant stay there after they changed my room to one on the 1st floor. My room on the ground floor was extremely humid and smelled kinda moldy. I heard from other guests this is also the case in other rooms on the ground floor.
In my new room the bed was comfy, the bathroom was okay and the ac was working properly.
I wouldn't book the breakfast since it's not really a fulfilling meal.
The staff is friendly even though they don't speak english, but with the help of a translator you'll be able to get the information you want to them.
