Ho soggiornato una sola notte in questo hotel per questioni di lavoro. Devo dire un attimo di fatica per individuare l'ingresso. Ma sarà stato io stanco. Comunque hotel pulito, essenziale. Personale in gamba. La camera essenziale e pulita. Colazione buona, e vista la location, con la presenza di buon prosciutto crudo. Forse offrire un caffellatte dal bar poteva essere carino, però non è un grosso problema. Vicinissimo all'outlet e all'autostrada, quindi una buona sosta. Bravi.

This beautifully refurbished old building is a pearl in the centre of the old city of Parma. It is within easy walking distance of everything one wishes to experience in this delightful city. The room we chose was spacious and serenely quiet. Linen and towels were changed every day. Most impressive, was the reception desk. Such desks these days, are often manned by nonchalant young people who are more interested in chatting to their colleagues or studying their smartphones than attending to their guests. Here, the receptionists actually stand up as you approach and look you straight in the eye with a welcoming smile and promptly solve your queries in a friendly manner. Vittorio himself, the elegant host, was there to receive us.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a perfect location, just by the Palazzo della Pilotta and not far from the station and cathedral. Plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby. Room was well sized and very comfortable, quiet, well appointed, nice bathroom. Would recommend, and we look forward to our next stay.

Il fatto di dover fare check-in e checkout al Novotel che è distante è scomodo e fa perdere molto tempo. La posizione è fantastica, a 5 minuti a piedi dal duomo, ma su tre letti due erano una brandina e un divano con reti arrangiate e scomode. Non vale il prezzo se rischiate di svegliarvi col mal di schiena.

Very close to the train station (though we had some difficulty finding the place, Google map navigation's fault). Piumaviola is on a very quiet side street. ”Gated compound” type of entrance for cars & people. We arrived earlier than check-in time, were able to drop off our luggage, paid the city taxes, and rushed to visit the cloister & the library of the San Giovanni Evangelista before 11:45am Friday closing time. Lovely decorated room (Toscanini room) and the shared kitchen/dining area: a lot of wooden furniture (tables, map storing drawer type of furniture pieces), a nice touch of fake orchids, etc. Retro and tasteful. Even the area by the elevator was lovely. Our Toscanini room was soundproof and had one big room and a small room. A big washroom that also had a heated towel rack. Used to be a typography company so our room and the shared kitchen/dining area have high ceilings. There is a cold water dispenser, a kettle, a fridge for guests to use as well as plates, mugs, glasses, utensils, a microwave, & toaster. Great to have a meal there after making purchases from the supermarket. An observation: It's great that Piumaviola has a washer/dryer (all-in-one type; 1 machine) for the guests to use. Please keep in mind that it is best for those who are staying 2 nights so you will have ample time to hang & dry your laundry completely. I appreciated that the same PIN code is used to access the compound gate, building gate, elevator, and your room. No keys to return as we had to leave early before the included breakfast. Since we couldn't have the included breakfast the next morning, the owner's daughter prepared a tray of sweet goodies for us & placed it in our room. She was also easily reachable via Whatsapp since we had to dash to visit the San Giovanni Evangelista before closing time. She patiently answered my questions about the water dispenser, kettle, all-in-one washer/dryer how-to. We had an one-night stay & wished that we had stayed longer Please don't hesistate to book your stay at this lovely Piumaviola Bed & Apartments in Parma. (I don't get commissions. I just provided my first-hand experience. That's all. LOL)

Great location near motorway. Large room with super comfortable massive bed. Clean. Good restaurant just down the road. Would have been perfect if it was not so hot. 'Air conditioning' was 26 degrees which is much hotter than we have our day time heating in the winter. Windows were screwed shut. When we complained we were told that the Italian authorities have a rule that air conditioning cannot be below 26 after beginning September. This cannot be true as we have spent over 4 weeks in Italy and had no problems at any of the 15 hotels we have stayed in. Eventually they reduced it to 23 degrees which was still too hot. Water pressure in the shower was low. Breakfast was a motel style buffet which was ok but not great.

Delicious breakfast and 2 (?) working cappuccino machines, etc. light airy lobby . Our room faced the front and had a small balcony. Would join this hotel group …

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed here at the hight of Covid, and had the worse dinner and breakfast of any hotel we had ever stayed at, ie a microwaved pizza and breakfast pastry’s/bread 4 or 5 days old. I am so glad to say things have changed. We had a hot and tasty meal. Not gourmet, ( I don’t think residents of Parma would use it) but fuel for our journey. Not expensive. Breakfast was very good. The breakfast staff spoke good English which is not typical, and one of them even asked us if we had every we needed, and could she get us anything. Everything was nice and fresh and a good selection. You could have breakfast outside if you wished. As before the receptionist were very good, and the room also excellent, a very reasonable size. Suitable for more then a one day stay. Since our terrible experience we have been staying many times at the Hotel Real Fine Baia del Re in Modena, which has the most wonderful restaurant which the locals do use. But the hotel was fully booked. So, we have a choice in future.

Bella struttura, spazi ampi per il living, la colazione e bel bar; ampio parcheggio gratuito a disposizione con 2 sole colonnine di ricarica a disposizione alla modica cifra di €0,80/kw, gestite da service esterno all’hotel e non facilmente fruibile. Spa aperta a pagamento (€15,00) dalle 17:00 alle 20:00 ma chiedendo alle 19:15 di accedervi, alla reception ci dicono che non è disponibile e bisogna chiedere prima. Camera spaziosa e non pulitissima, polvere sulle mensole, posizionate sopra il frigorifero. Bagno ok con dotazione ridotta al minimo, una saponetta e due dispenser per shampoo e bagnoschiuma nella doccia; nessun altro gadget per l’igiene, per pulire le scarpe, crema mani. Un po’ poco per una tariffa giornaliera di circa €300,00 per dormire e fare colazione in concomitanza con una fiera nel padiglione fieristico lì attiguo (5 minuti di auto). A 2 minuti dal casello autostradale e a 10 minuti dal centro di Parma. Palestra ok, sempre aperta. Bene, quindi, ma non benissimo… giuste 3 stelle e mezzo.

PPengguna TetamuAbbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per 2 notti e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Staff molto gentile e cordiale... pronto a risolvere qualsiasi problema... Quando siamo arrivati in camera non siamo riusciti a fare funzionare la TV, scendendo in reception abbiamo parlato con la ragazza di turno e dopo un paio d'ore che siamo rientrati in camera, la TV era perfettamente funzionante!!! Ottima colazione, dolce e salata (comprensiva di ottima frutta fresca). La nostra camera era molto pulita, spaziosa e silenziosa. La struttura è dotata di un ampio parcheggio per le auto e si trova in una posizione molto comoda e tattica. Complimenti a tutto lo staff!! Grazie di tutto! Assolutamente consigliato!!!

Staff were so friendly and made such an effort with us.
The free bikes were a blessing to cycle into Parma in the rain, the receptionist advised to park at Piazza Garibaldi.
The room was clean and spacious with all the facilities needed.
The pool was clean with adequate chairs and an area for food:drinks.
Too far too walk to the centre but easy enough to drive or cycle.

We had a one night stop over at Parma & Congressi hotel travelling on a 12 day coach holiday with leger, on arrival we had a lovely evening meal with table service in the restaurant, staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms very good but not sure about the jacuzzi bath maybe bit out dated, we enjoyed a good buffet style breakfast with lots of food choices, enjoyed my stay.
