部屋は狭くてオートロックではなく、 よさは駅近、安くて朝食付きというくらいですかね。 駅からホテルまでの道中にはコンビニは駅高架下のセブンイレブン一軒だったかと。 簡単なブッフェ形式の朝食付きですが、 スタッフが時々覗くくらいの管理でとりあえず用意してますというレベルでした。

Stayed at the Anchor Hotel for 1 night and was very happy with the stay! The staff were very welcoming and the signage was clear in relation to checking in at the Oriental Hotel next door. Staff were very helpful and made check in easy. The room itself was stylish and very spacious compared to other Japanese hotels. The bathroom was modern and very clean. Nice touches like light switches, plugs and USB ports by the bed and dimmable lights throughout. You can also use the onsen in the Oriental Hotel which was great. The onsen is small but provides towels in the reception and toiletries in the shower area. We stayed for the free breakfast on the first floor of the Anchor Hotel and it was simple but delicious. The location is amazing! Right next to the castle and opposite the mall and train station. A convenience store is 30 seconds down the road. Parking is available directly next to the hotel for 1500 yen for 24 hours, so very convenient. Will definitely return on future visits!

　地図を見ると、福山の南口から少しだけ西側の線路縁に、東横INN福山駅新幹線南口はあります。でも、実際に駅の南口から出てみると、西に向かって思った以上に歩くんです。徒歩５分くらいだったと思います。 　立地に関して言うと、ホテルのすぐ前から高架線の北側に抜ける道があって、福山城や博物館まで近いんです。ついでに、翌日利用したトヨタレンタカーも歩いて２～３分でした。 　東横インですから、館内は簡素です。ですが、フロント回りも客室も明るくてきれいでした。スタッフの対応もてきぱきしていて好感が持てました。さらに、リーズナブルな価格もうれしいですね。エレベーターが１基だけしかないことは、マイナスポイントですね。
