Location: Hotel is located in a walking distance from Kanazawa Station. Very quiet area with a vending machines downstairs and in the hotel itself. No close proximity of 7/11 or Family Mart. Huge rooms for Japanese standards, clean and quiet. Perfect hiding spot and still close to city center Lobby area: No real lobby area - self check in in the machine. Quick and painless Rooms: Room was located on the 3rd floor, it was family suit with a kitchen space and 2 joined bedrooms (in total 4 beds) It was clean and very spacious. Kid was sleeping on the separate bed next to us. We had 4 single beds, but very good size and quality of sleep. It was clean when we arrived and you need to maintain that level when you check out. We did not use a kitchen as its close to the Kanazawa Station with plenty of food options. The wifi was amazing and super-fast free of charge in the entire hotel. Elevators: small one for 2ppl Restaurant: Hotel has no restaurant Pool area: There is no pool in this hotel Staff: no staff Overall: I would definitely recommend to everyone. Great location, close to the Kanazawa Station (train and busses)
Tutto perfetto. Esperienza che ripeterei.

We stayed here for 3 nights and Neon hotel really given us a beautiful experience in Kanazawa.
Good location that can lead you to many famous restaurants and shopping.
Well equipped especially washing machine that helped a lot for a family with kids.
The amazing bed offered me sweet dreams every night.
There is only one thing unpleasant.
When we first checked in in Hotel Kanazawa, the staff told me there is no hotel parking lot “ you have to find coin parking please “ then tried to rush me go before my next question ( even tho he was smiling)
But we found hotel parking right next to the hotel less than 1 minute walk.
Other than that everything is perfect!
This is a lovely small boutique hotel in the heart of Kanazawa's historic Higashi Chaya district. Our room was beautiful and bed super comfortable. Staff were welcoming and super helpful. 3 different very good outside breakfast options are included. We stayed 2 nights but wished we'd booked a little longer. Great central location. We walked to the castle and a great traditional onsen is a short walk away. Also highly recommend is the nearby Sushi Takashima restaurant. Very special indeed and one of the best meals we had during our 3 weeks in Japan.

AallyplI’m here now and want to write about my experience as it’s happening. I’m blown away at this property. The beauty, the people, the quiet…except for the waterfall which you hear if you’re outside. I have a balcony room. The AC is splendid! There’s a tub inside the large shower area. The shower water is a little weaker than I normally care for, but YMMV. Breakfast is a huge buffet with very nice options, all Japanese and all high quality. Both mornings, I’ve been served an amuse. Tonight I’ll try dinner for the first time here, and no doubt it’ll be delicious. If you opt out of housekeeping, they leave you a big bag of two each large towels, hand towels and bath towels. Housekeeping is as quiet as a church mouse. I arrived at the Kanazawa train station, and even though I knew that there would be a shuttle bus, and which side to exit from, I didn’t know which one was mine. This information is not on the website, so I’ll tell you that you exit on the west side, and upon exiting, turn to the right, where the group bus waiting area is. And watch for a bus that is white with an orange *****e on the front. One other word of caution. There are two hotels that are named the same. Just because you see the hotel name on the outside, that may not be yours. Do you want to be sure that the driver and the accompanying guide know that the one you want is on this particular street. It’s a really new hotel, as it’s only been open for about a year. I upgraded and got the lounge access and that’s been totally worth it! The afternoon suites are so stunningly gorgeous and there’s a cocktail hour also in the afternoon, but I think it’s really like three or four hours long. The staff speaks their English, but have your Google translate ready for words that they may not automatically know. However, I will say they are extremely eager to understand and please you. I highly recommend this hotel!!
PPengguna TetamuMy family (2 kids) stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed the city as well as the hotel. I will start with the positives. We stayed at a one bedroom suite with laundry machines which is very convenient and by far the largest hotel room we stayed in Japan. Our kids slept comfortably in the living room on the sofa. The kitchen is very well designed with a huge fridge and sitting areas. The front desk was very helpful in my trip planning with onsen suggestions and they also booked us kimono rental and restaurants after we checked in. The lobby is spacious and we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. The location is very conveient being right by the JR station and a big shopping mall. I only have 2 minor issues. First, they weren't willing to make us dinner reservations before check in which seems to be an overal issue with Japan hotels. Second, the breakfast offering is way better at Hyatt Centric, the sister hotel next door and is connected at the lobby area. however, we were turned away when we tried to get breakfast at Hyatt Centric even though some prior reviews said they wre able to do that.
WWakuwaku YenConvenient location (around 1km, or 15 minutes walking distance from Kanazawa station), excellent hospitality and services, and got complimentary breakfast too. Totally superb experience, highly value for money, and would stay again in future!!
PPengguna Tanpa NamaI recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable onsen hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the attentive staff who kindly assisted with my luggage. The attention to detail was evident right from the start as I was asked to remove my shoes before stepping onto the pristine premises.
As someone who appreciates the therapeutic benefits of onsen bathing, I was delighted to find that this hotel truly excels in providing an exceptional onsen experience. The facilities were top-notch, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating soak that left me feeling completely refreshed.
Furthermore, the breakfast spread offered an abundance of delicious seafood options, providing a culinary delight that perfectly complemented the tranquil ambiance of the hotel.
Overall, my stay at this onsen hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I am already eagerly looking forward to my next visit. It's truly a gem worth returning to time and time again! 🌸
EElisia LohHotel is conveniently located on the east gate of Kanazawa station, with nearby shopping malls (opp Forus shopping mall), and lots of restaurants.
Hotel is more like business hotel setup, furnishes is dated but clean. The only downside which we don’t like is the bedside lamp is fixed very near to the bed, am very afraid will bang onto them when sleeping too near.
Kanazawa is very tourist oriented, there is a tourist loop bus which you can purchase for the day which is about 800yen per adult unlimited rides on this loop bus (otherwise per trip is about 210 yen), you can purchase the ticket from the East gate bus information counter, and bus boarding at bay no 7. This tourist loop bus passes the tourist spots like the Chaya district, Kanazawa Castle Park / Kenrokuen (same bus stop), Omicho market (which is about 15 min walk from Kanazawa station).
EEvonneThe location is very convenient. Value for money choice. With the hot bath and the breakfast included, it’s definitely a good choice if you are traveling to Kanazawa
One thing I would like to remind is the staff at the reception cannot really speak English so there are a few misunderstood communication.
Another reminder is to book the twin room even you travel alone. The single room is too small for even one person, and the cost of the two room are not much different
PPengguna TetamuOnly stayed here for 1 night recently as I was on a day trip to the surrounding area but it was a great stay. Very good staff on reception and the room I had was excellent with many amenities available. The bed was comfortable allowing me to have a peaceful night's sleep. I did not try the hotel restaurant. The hotel is in a superb location due to it being very close to Kanazawa Bus Terminal and train station. If you intend to stay in Kanazawa, give this hotel a try.
PPengguna TetamuThis hotel seems like it has lost its glory. The pictures make it seem like a nice view is guaranteed, but the lobby (where the photos are taken from) is on the top floor. Also, the cooling function of the airconditioning is turned off, meaning you must open the window at night - a nightmare given the trains passing by. The entrance is also in a back alley and not that close to the station as it seems. I think there are much better hotels in Kanazawa.
MMagnus TanThe dorm was quite tricky to find on the sidewalk, walking from JR Kanazawa station, the sign was on a wall behind me, in the walkway leading into the building it was. One should look out to the left once you’ve reached the building.
There were no staff when I checked in late at night around 10pm, but I received an email beforehand detailing the guest forms I should fill up and some other information. Once I arrived, there were other clear instructions about my bunk, luggage storage and house rules. The entry area had several books and leaflets about the area and a map indicating eateries and sightseeing locations recommended by staff, a useful touch. Some of it were in English too.
The bunk was perfectly acceptable for a quick night sleep. The bed was wide and had lockable lockers to the side. Refreshments like drinks, snacks and noodles were also available for a small fee and payment was done via a tin box. Overall, very good value for money and it provided an opportunity to chat with other travellers staying by there. I chatted with someone from Taiwan and a local working at Kanazawa station’s tourist information centre. He was snowed in for the night and it’s worth noting that, it would be a struggle to haul luggage through heavy snow on the way to the property.
One noticeable feature about this hotel is the front desk really went out of their way to help us, answer our questions and advise us about local attractions. Other reviewers already mentioned all other hotel good features so we won't repeat here. Especially shout-out to the young receiptionist on the front desk at the front lobby. She demonstrated the great Japanese hospitality custom, Omotenashi. She's patiently helped us with contacting local tour operator and to various questions of first-timer to Kanazawa: where to get the bus, where to eat, what to see... she distinctly epitomizes the ”kikubari” custom, which means anticipating the needs of others and attending to them before they're expressed. Even though she told us that she was not born in Japan she could explain everything very well in English.
