Room: It is an old classic hotel. Room is big, but beds are small (＜1m). Service: Sometimes it is hard to find a staff who can speak fluent English. Meal: Breakfast is good, but lunch is overpriced. Location: It is a ski-in-ski-out hotel for Cortina Ski Resort, so it is convenient if you stay in hotel for the whole day. But the hotel is far from the village center, restaurants and other places. Road conditions can be terrible in snowing days. Many cars cannot get onto the slope connecting main road and the resort, even equipped with snow tires.

We has a great stay. The snow was fantastic. Powder was like nothing we had never experienced before, and the skiing was sensational. Hakuba Norikura and Cortina join up to make one very large ski resort. There were some nice runs for the kids and some very advanced stuff, including incredible backcountry, that I enjoyed. A newly opened run at the top of Norikura was possibly the best skiing I've ever experienced. Waist deep untracked powder with good pitch. Food at the hotel and nearby was good. There's a few different options in the hotel, as well several lunchtime options at little places just outside and around the hotel, and a little village with several other places just 5min away. The family also really enjoyed the natural hot spring onsen that is in the hotel. Was a great way to relax at the end of each day. Would go back again for sure!

Great place to stay right on a ski run with ski in facilities.. It’s also quite close to bars and restaurants. The only issue is the hotel advertises that all rooms have bathrooms - but that is not the case. A number of rooms don’t have a bath or a shower! We didn’t have one which came a real surprise and had to book a private bathroom three floors down for each morning. If you stay at this hotel make sure you book a room with a shower! In this day and age not having a shower in all rooms is really not three or even two star accommodation.

一言で表すと、少し不便はありますがとても綺麗！いったところです。 いつもは系列のマリオンシナノを利用していますが満室だった為、グランジャム栂池を利用させていただきました。 ゲレンデやコンビニまで最短徒歩で5分。 マリオンシナノに比べるとやや不便はありますが、新しい為館内がとても綺麗なのでポイントがかなり高いです！ 少し疑問なのは 館内はブーツ着用禁止なのに、スニーカーはどこへ置けばいいのか？という事です。 チェックアウト後も、館内のコインロッカーは使用可能なので、スニーカーを履いてブーツを持って乾燥室で履き替えます。そのスニーカーはどこへ置けばいいのか聞いたら、『ロッカーに置いてください。』と言われました。 今、履いているのは館内で着用禁止のスキーブーツなのですが、館内のロッカーに戻ってまた500円を払ってスニーカーをコインロッカーに入れるという事？？？かと言って乾燥室に置きっぱなしにしたら盗まれたり回収されるかもしれない…。 マリオンシナノには靴置き場があるので、少し不親切というか、みんなどうしてるの？と思いました。

The customer service was excellent from using the shuttle buses, bringing our luggage to our rooms, making three dinner reservations, forwarding our luggage to Haneda airport and our next hotel, etc. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. One female staff person (I forgot her name) was exceptional). I appreciate their hard work and great customer service. The hotel has a separate area on the first floor for your snowboard gear (locked closets) which was very convenient. The shuttle bus was helpful taking us to the bus terminal and other ski resorts. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed here for 2 nights in July. The hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable. The lack of vegetarian / vegan food options was disappointing considering this is a Marriott Hotel. The resteraunt may not be theirs, but still expected better. The staff were very helpful, although the hotel shuttle to drop us to the station was only available for a 30 minute timeslot in the morning. Strange, but not a problem. Location is good, still has a feel that it could be a lot better by just making small improvements. Its the details that matter, at least that is why we booked Marriott. Still, we would stay here again (and maybe bring our own food).

HHunsa ChopThe hotel is very nice and have Japanese+Western Style. We really like the atmoshere and the owner, Mr.Kashiwabara and his wife are very nice to us. He introduced us many things and also drive us to the train station on the next day. The facilities in house has everything you need. We enjoy the onsen very much and the water is mineral and clean. We hope to go back again. Thank you very much.

MMeowVanWhat an awesome experience! The hotel offered exemplary service before we even arrived. Due to special travel arrangements, we arrived late and the staff quick to arrange an in-room bento dinner for us before our arrival. When we got there, we were immediately blown away by the gorgeousness of the hotel.
Despite its age, everything was very clean and polished. I can see that great care had been taken to upkeep the hotel and it’s premises, which are extraordinarily beautiful. We couldn’t resist taking pictures even after check-out, and it took us an hour to finally reluctantly leave. Words cannot actually do the place justice, you must visit there yourself.
We were very impressed with how delicious the food was, and the attention to detail, including the placement of the food, the coordination of food color. My mouth is still watering as I recall how delicious it was. I had 10 helpings of their prime rib one day. Besides, I had a dietary restriction and the staff were really careful with that, to the extent of reminding me what dishes not to eat everyday at their breakfast and dinner buffet.
In addition to excellent food and service, the hotel went out of its way to be very eco-friendly. For every day that we did not need our room to be tidied, we earned points, which can be traded in for ice cream or other goodies.
Finally, the staff spoke perfect English. This is rare indeed, and it made everything so much easier and so much more enjoyable. Thanks for the experience!

PPengguna Tetamuスキー客用のホテルに見えますか、夏でもたくさんのお客様が利用されていて、少し驚きでした。周りのホテルは、夏だからのイメージ通りの感じでした。各方面からのお客様が多いのは、車のナンバーでわかりました。中は、別館もあり、広くて、全体が掴めないほどの大きさです。ゴンドラの駅までは近くで、歩いて行けます。ゴンドラの割引券があるので、ここで買えば、お得ですよ。

PPengguna Tetamu朝食は和食セットでかなり量が少ない、コーヒーさえもないです、夕食も量が少なくて美味しいとは全然言えません。なんでもコインです、チェックイン前と後の荷物預かりもコインローカーで、スノーボードももちろんコインです。温泉の着替え室の暖房がなく 超寒い、ボディソープとリンスインシャンプーしかないです。客室は古式の暖房でした 付けると部屋が乾燥しすぎで眠れない。加湿器はないです。部屋の清掃は行いません、3日間一回の掃除のが書いてあるのでタオルの交換もしなかった。いまいちでした
