安心安定の東横インですが、こちらも安心安定でいつも通りの滞在ができました。清潔感も問題なく、朝食もお弁当スタイルでしたがおいしく、満足な滞在となりました。周囲に飲食店はありませんが、駅の反対側にいったり、ちょっと歩いて国道1号沿いにまでいけばたくさんあります。マイナーな駅だと思っていたのですがいい感じに栄えていて便利でした。

スタッフの方の連携が取れておらず、とても不快な思いをしました。朝食に関しては地元ベーカリーのパンを謳っていますが、ベーカリーのパンは出てこなかったです。 2度と利用しません。 Never use this hotel again! Bad communication among staff. No bakery made bread at breakfast as it promoted.

草津駅東口から徒歩10分くらいですが、スーツケースを引いて歩くにはちょっと遠かった。特に帰りは雨だったので。部屋は喫煙室で30㎡と広いのだけれど、大きなベッド2台に場所を取られ、おまけにいすがベッドの半分くらいの大きさのソファーベッドだったので、広々した感じがしませんでした。壁や水回りはとてもきれいです。フロントとレストランは1階、客室は6～8階でエレベーター直通です。和定食はメインの魚を前日に選びます。鰆の味噌漬けをおいしくいただきました。どちらかというと、車で移動する客向きと思いました。

駅まで歩いてすぐで、一応滋賀県ですが京都まで20分、大阪までも50分くらいで行けるのでそちらの観光でも使えます。観光シーズンでも値上がりしにくく、地方都市に泊まる感覚です。

妻との2泊3日　草津ｴﾘｱ旅行にて1泊利用しました[他の1泊は　ﾎﾃﾙ　ﾎﾞｽﾄﾝﾌﾟﾗｻﾞ草津(SOUTH WING)]。　こちらのｼﾝｸﾞﾙは15m2となっていたので　居住性を考慮し《ｺﾝﾌｫｰﾄ・ﾂｲﾝ（部屋ｽﾍﾟｰｽ23m2 ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ幅 120cm x2台　TV 32ｲﾝﾁ）を2室　利用しました。近くの【ﾎﾃﾙ　ﾎﾞｽﾄﾝﾌﾟﾗｻﾞ草津】と比較し　ﾂｲﾝのｼﾝｸﾞﾙﾕｰｽとﾀﾞﾌﾞﾙとの差異があるので　単純比較は出来ませんが　妻は　こちらは　ﾃﾞｽｸに照明灯付の大きな鏡（添付　写真参照）があり　座ったまま化粧が出来る、洗面台に小物を置けるｽﾍﾟｰｽがある、洋服掛けも　ﾄﾞｱを閉めると　洋服が見えない、ﾊﾞｽﾙｰﾑのｱﾒﾆﾃｲがPOLA であり　ﾊﾞｽﾀﾌﾞも大きくゆったり浸ることが出来るなど　女性が宿泊する場合の快適性と言う意味で　評価していました。　朝食は　1階にﾚｽﾄﾗﾝがありましたが　旅程の都合により　取らなかったのでわかりません。

所用で家族と2泊しました。立地条件から駅近のこちらを選択しましたが、部屋はビジネスホテルタイプで、決して広いわけではありません。清潔には保たれてますか設備の老朽化は否めずに部屋に入り色々目につく箇所がありました。2連泊ですが1泊ずつ予約したためかカードキーが翌日11時に効かなくなりエラー。フロントで話2枚対応してもらうも、また一枚がエラー再びフロントに行くも謝りなく淡々と手続き。チェックイン時からフロントの方にサービス精神は一切感じられず、事務的。こちらのホテルはそう言うのとは無縁のようです。部屋の清掃も普段1泊の方が多いからか廊下全面を使い各部屋の使用済みリネンをおばちゃんが広げ、廊下も歩きづらいです。エレベーターも1100-1300あたりはリネン運搬のカートにエレベーターを占拠されなかなかきません。寝るだけならいいですが、あの部屋、サービスにしてはやや高く感じます。
