Hotel terbaik di Daerah Galle

Loved this place, it has a lot of personality. There are nicer but more expensive places in Galle, and there are cheaper and more run down places. This is the Goldilocks choice. It's a lovely little hotel with a few broken things in every room. In the hot off season, the shared areas are like sitting in a sauna, but there's a little garden pool to cool off in. The perfect walking distance to the fort, short eats, and every morning a different Sri Lankan breakfast. Proper tea service, small but attentive staff. The manager is so helpful, I was here for three things, touring Galle, a unique part of Sri Lanka, locating and visiting some locations where my late father grew up and went to college, and a bit of a religious pilgrimage. The manager, who speaks 5 languages, was ever so helpful in all three aspects of my visit. Up the hill are two more elegant hotels for dinner, down the hill are some really cheap local places to eat, don't miss lunch at the Ministry of Agriculture/ ministry of education canteen. Okay for an overnight, but I would recommend this one of a kind hotel for a few days stay. Especially in the off-season.

I used Ahu Bay in December 2024 to propose to my girlfriend, I can’t thank the team enough for organizing everything and exceeding our expectations when it came to this stay and the proposal! Shoutout to Abhishek and his team for everything! I would really recommend Ahu Bay especially for anyone looking for a private and secluded proposal location and stay, it’s beautiful and the sunset looks like it’s from a movie. The food was amazing, we really enjoyed the dinner by the beach. The scallops were my highlight! For breakfast, they had a variety of great options that we really did enjoy! The rooms are designed beautifully, and are extremely spacious! We will definitely be back for a longer stay, I feel like it’s a location where you need to spend at least two days to really be able to relax!

We were so lucky to be able to enjoy our last night in this lovely house. We were given a room on the first floor with a balcony and a view of the Indian Ocean right on Pedlar's street and it was pretty quiet considering! We had a delicious breakfast with hoppers and pancakes and fresh papaya and bananas, as well as fresh juice. We will be sad to leave. The location is ideal for walking around this historical part of town. Just lovely.

We stayed as a family of four in the Ginger suite. Such comfortable beds, strong a/c, food was amazing and the pool was spotlessly clean and refreshing. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful, we had a wonderful stay here. The Fort is tiny so everything is only a 5-10 minute walk, so it was lovely to walk around the shops, cafes and the Ramparts, then come back to the hotel for a refreshing dip in the pool. We stayed for 3 nights, only left the Fort in 1 day to go a turtle hatchery, and got an Uber there which was very easy. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

My boyfriend booked here as a suprise for my birthday and WOW this was the best hotel I’ve ever been in with the best most helpful staff ever! They done the room up for my birthday with balloons, cake abd happy birthday on the bed with real flowers and leafs, it was incredible the detail that went into it all! The breakfast every day was perfect, eating fresh fruit to start with a view of the sea, followed by a cooked breakfast and some toasts and pastries. The food here by the way is immaculate, and it’s no problem to make a special request! My boyfriend booked a private bbq on the beach for dinner for my birthday as well, I can’t explain how good this was, it was so romantic and so perfect. We had our own private chef and private waiter who kept topping our plates up as soon as we’d finished. The food again was incredible, we were spoiled with potato salad, salad and rice, I had vegetable skewers and my partner had chicken and beef, it was so nice listening to the sound of the waves whilst we were eating our dinner. I definitely recommend the private bbq on the beach it was honestly so good and so special! The rooms are spot on, the bed is huge and very comfortable, the bathroom is also HUGE! Nice hot water in the shower and the jacuzzi as well is amazing! You get toiletries topped up daily as well such as shampoo, body wash and conditioner. We had a balcony overlooking the beach where we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets 😍 finally the staff here are all so kind, smiley and helpful. They really feel like your friends and have such great customer service skills I was thoroughly impressed with the service we received here. I wish I could stay here every day for the rest of my life 😍😍😍 thank you so much to everyone at coco bay for making my birthday so special ❤️

We chose Villa Surf Beach to spend our New Year holidays. We have never regretted it! The restaurant is just amazing. The ocean view, the sizes and taste of the food, cozy atmosphere, and super friendly and welcoming stuff... Best days! Definitely want to come back again. The rooms are also beautiful. Clean and tidy. I love how both the restaurant and the villa are made with the same design elements. Love the arts on the wall and wooden handmade furniture. Stylish and elegant. The location is very сonvinient. FoodCity supermarket is just across the road. And from the villa, you can get to Galle Fort for just 5-10 minutes! The Dewata beach is perfect for surfing, feels like a private place and is not so crowded as Weligama. Already want to come back again :)
