The hotel is definitely recommended! Nice rooms with the most beautiful outdoor bathrooms. Good air conditioning which was really nice in the heat and some delicious pools. The breakfast at the hotel was also really good, and the staff were extremely nice and service-minded

Stayed with my Family from 30th April , 2 nights , the rooms are clean and well maintained , the staff Mr Silva and Mr Kingsley are very prompt and helpfull in their service , location is also very close to the beach , nice restaurants nearby , especially TORO AND SEAVIEW

Хозяин отеля - чудесный человек. Он помогал нам со всем, с чем бы мы к нему ни обратились! Где нам поменять деньги? Он поменял (и по выгодному курсу!). Где нам арендовать мопед? И с этим помог. Организовал трансфер до аэропорта на тук-туке. Очень приятная зеленая территория. Хороший вкусный завтрак (рисовая каша, фрукты, омлет, тосты с маслом и джемом, чай). Современный номер со всем необходимым. Будем еще раз на Шри-Ланке - обязательно вернемся к такому гостеприимному человеку!

Отличный бюджетный отель. В номере чисто, на ресепшене приветливый персонал. Заселили быстро. На счет бассейна не скажу ничего, не посещали. Кондей хорошо работает. Есть шампунь и гель для душа, вода. Кровать неплохая, большая, немного магковата, но спать было комфортно. Единственное, окна почему то не прозрачные

villa shade is located close to the airport and is perfect place to stay and adjust from long flight and jetlag for couple of days. Property is very tranqile, surounded with beutiful garden, native plants..very relaxing and with emphasis on sustainability that was not seen in other places we stayed on our 2 week trip. Host and staff werevery welcoming and available to help in any way wee needed, from aranging transportation to providing advise on site seeing. Food was fresh, tasty and local. Swimming pool was such a nice addition to the whole experience. Villa Shade provided best accomodation during our entire trip and is highly recommened as place to stay at the begining or end of the trip as it is such peacefull oasis close to the airport

I have come from England for 3 weeks to Sri Lanka . I am staying at the royal hub hotel. I have only been hear I week and already planning my return trip to come back at the beginning of may staff are so polite and ready and willing to help if you have any questions. The food is amazing. Like something you have never tasted before + if you have a feverish dish in mind but you don't see it on their menu. Don't be shy just ask. Believe me this cheff can cook

Points positifs : tarif très abordable. La chambre est plutôt spacieuse, propre et dispose d'un des meilleurs matelas de notre séjour de 3 semaines au Sri Lanka. L'hôtel est à 3 minute de la rue la plus animée de la ville avec quelques restaurants de qualité et des bars sympas et a 5 minutes de la plage. Points négatifs : A notre arrivée a midi on nous annonce un check-in a 14h, on revient donc a 14h30 mais notre chambre n'était pas prête. Le wifi ne marchait pas. Le système de filtration de la piscine est a l'arrêt donc cette dernière est pleine d'insectes morts et de résidus de plantes: baignade a vos risques et périls. Pas d'ascenseur et des escaliers très étroits. L'hôtel, chambres y compris, est fumeur. Certains clients doivent être ”calmés” car ils se comportent comme si ils avaient privatisé le lieu sans que les gérants ne réagissent. La plage de Negombo n'est pas propre, et globalement les locaux y ont extrêmement agressifs et insistants vis a vis de nous même après que nous ayons refusé leur ”offre”. Enfin je n'ai pas apprécié non plus que le gérant tente de me dissuader de commander un VTC pour rejoindre l'aéroport histoire tenter de me vendre son transfert. Qui était quatre fois plus cher...

Spent our first night in Sri Lanka & it was a perfect start after a long flight.Friendly staff, clean & has a good little restaurant & bar & very reasonably priced. Our room backed onto the Dutch canal & you could hear boat traffic at random times in the early morning but that's OK, but the exhaust fumes from them were strong, but that's not a hotel issue.

This is the best place in negambo if you search a relaxing holiday. Pool and surroundings are amazing. Restaurant staff were friendly and always with a smile. Special thank to chathuranga. PPengguna TetamuI had a wonderful stay at Limeshine Transit Hotel in Negambo. The room was impeccably clean, with fresh bedsheets, and both the AC and fans were in perfect working condition. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with handwash, shampoo, and body wash. Hot water and towels were also readily available.
The hotel's location is very convenient, with a Cargills grocery store just a 2-minute walk away. There's a balcony and I enjoyed the view. The staff were exceptionally nice and incredibly helpful throughout my stay.
I highly recommend Limeshine Transit Hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the hotel staff for their excellent service—keep up the great work!

Номер был просторный, вода горячая, постельное бельё белое!
А ещё у них чудесный бассейн, в котором можно плавать до позднего вечера с красивой подсветкой.
Не очень понравился завтрак (брала отдельно за 1450 рупий) и блюда их кухни, мне было не вкусно.
А так как отель находится в глуши, вокруг нет ни кафешек ни магазинов, это было значительным минусом.
Но сама атмосфера отеля, уютный сад и терраса с безумно удобными креслами и полное отсутствие постояльцев в отеле меня покорили, и я решила продлить своё пребывание ещё на 1 день.
Мне бы хотелось когда-нибудь вернуться к ним!

Right on the beach, good spacious rooms, with everything you need, very clean and good AC.
Rooms over look the pool and beach which is nice to wake up to every morning.
The staff are a credit to the hotel with fantastic service from house keeping to reception to pool attendants. Could not fault it. Food and Drinks are excellent too, try the Terrace Bar for cocktails you won’t be disappointed.
Food is good value at the Beach / Pool Bar too
Would definitely recommend this hotel if your coming to Negombo

MMatthew JamesThis was my third stay at the Goldi Sands, honestly, the last time was nearly 20 years ago but I had such a great time back then I had high expectations. In the intervening 20 years, the hotel has had a revamp, double the size, double the number of swimming pools, added an elevator and they've removed the beach-fronted bungalows. All of which I think was a smart move and well worth doing. What has changed is the service and the catering. The staff are of course all very polite just that they didn't go the extra mile like they used to. We arrived late as our flight had been delayed, all I wanted was a couple of bottles of beer, they did arrive but I almost had to beg. I booked a taxi to the airport with the front desk, but they forgot, the waitresses at dinner were all about the hard upsell rather than serving. The breakfast as far as my memory serves me used to be awesome, today's breakfast is the same every day and lacks imagination, is poorly presented, and includes the worst coffee ever. The hotel has a confusing number of tariffs from all-inclusive to room only which means if you want to buy a drink it takes forever as they have to check your ”status” and then if you pay cash they have to go to the cashier as they carry no float. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable but basic. All in all it is still a good hotel to choose but sadly it is no longer in the memorable category.

TTraveling TanI recently stayed at Vivanta Colombo Airport Gardens and had a mixed experience. The pool area is absolutely fabulous, offering a great place to relax. The food exceeded my expectations, with wonderful flavors and a good variety. The staff were notably attentive, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, the pricing felt a bit steep for what was offered, especially given the disappointing room view which was just overlooking buildings, contrary to the picturesque images advertised. Additionally, the terms and conditions were confusing and poorly written, potentially disadvantaging guests. A word of advice: skip the pricey airport shuttle service, which costs 4000 Sri Lankan rupees, and opt for an Uber or PickMe ride, which you can get for around 500 rupees.

TTraveling TanI stayed in this hotel for a week. It’s only been open for 5 months and at first appearance it looks good, but taking a closer look it’s still being built and repaired. There are still cables jutting out of the wall and ceiling. Although the kitchen is featured in the photos of the room, it has no tap, the cupboards are sealed. I raised some of my concerns when I arrived with the general manager when he asked me questions about my stay and he seemed blasé about addressing it. Based on what was paid, this hotel is overpriced. There are still cement stairways and drilling taking place during the day. The WiFi is awful, they finally installed a router in my room which took the week to do and it only worked on the day of my departure. The best part of the hotel is some staff members who will go out of their way to help, special mention to Jazz. They have a great pool on the roof. Until it’s fully built I wouldn’t recommend staying here!
