A nice little stay here for one night on business. The hotel is a little bit out of the way of the city, it would be about €25 each way in a cab to get there or there is a bus stop outside the hotel which can get you there in around 45mins and the help reception staff tell you how. Public transport is also free which is fantastic. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a nice design. I had a really comfortable sleep and the room was quiet. The room also had AC. It did lack amenities in the bathroom like cotton buds etc. but it had Rituals shower gel/ hand wash which was lovely as we have the same one at home so a nice touch. I was surprised the room didn’t have an iron and ironing board, I had to ask reception and carry to my room. The phone also didn’t work in the room to contact reception which was a little frustrating. I ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely, the waitress who served me was pretty exceptional with her customer service as well! The hotel is close to the airport around a 6-8 minute drive so was really handy for this. Though I am surprised it didn’t offer some form of an airport transfer facility at the hotel, like a paid shuttle bus. Luxembourg has to be the most expensive place in the world for taxis so be warned! I had a 7am flight and whilst I was staying so close, it cost me €45 to go 6 minutes at 5.30am (apparently night rates are even more expensive). I nearly had a heart attack when the driver told me!

Quelle déception, le personnel qui avant était si sympathique est aujourd’hui des plus désagréable mis à part la réception. Nous avons pris des cafés au bar lounges vers 16h, lorsque nous sommes venus pour l’apéritif à 19h, les tasses n’avaient toujours pas été débarrassées, ceci malgré le fait qu’entre 17h et 19h il n’y avait vraiment pas grand monde à servir. Au restaurant, le serveur est d’une condescendance hors norme, moqueur et peu agréable. Le dîner était bon, mis à part une entrée immangeable, un pâté suri qui a mon avis avait passé la date de péremption depuis un moment… Quel tristesse de ne pas avoir une carte des vins luxembourgeois (comme c’était le cas avant) et de mettre en avant plus de produits du terroir. Le petit déjeuner a perdu en qualité, le saumon fumé épais et plein de peau et de gras, les œufs brouillés sous vide infectes, les pancakes, du carton. Sans parler du personnel, la aussi agressif et ne sachant pas se tenir, une jeune fille adossée au mur attend en regardant les clients avec mépris. Cet hôtel n’est vraiment plus ce qu’il était, la gestion à la française, lui a ôté toute son âme, c’est vraiment dommage. Le service y est moins bon que dans un ibis budget, quel gâchis. Il est temps de mettre un manager digne de de nom qui sera sur tous les fronts ( présent et investi), capable de veiller au bien-être de son personnel. Peut-être que les employés auront alors le sourire et l’envie de travailler…

They picked me up from the airport, although it is not far from the airport but I arrived late. Friendly from the moment I called for the pick up. I also needed directions the following day and the lady and young man who checked me in helped with this. The room was lovely and clean and I had a nice view to the side. The bed was comfy and the bathroom very clean. I did have some noisy neighbours but as there is no telephone in the room couldn't let reception know. In the end I put earplugs in my ears. I slept well though. The breakfast was substantial and a lot to choose from. The manager at reception (a different one) called the bus headquarters to make sure I had the correct bus numbers for my very important day. What an incredibly friendly hotel. If ever you need to find something near the hotel I would suggest this one. They also have a bar and restaurant so that is good when you have time or need this.

Location 10 minutes walk from the Airport. The first stop (Senningerberg, Lou Hemmer) on the 29 Bus drops you outside the hotel. The 29 bus takes you to the city centre in less than 20 min. Airport shuttle to pick you up and drop you to the hotel. Check In Quick and Efficient Room The room was quite small but not too bad for a 2 star hotel. Television Many French Channels, 1 English channel (BBC) Breakfast Basic Breakfast - Cereals, Breads, Croissants, Boiled Eggs. I would recommend including a few vegetarian options Check Out Quick and Efficient I would definitely stay here again.

The room is big enough for us. There is a restaurant which serves food in room for 24 hours. The food was quite good too. It is just a 7-minute walk to the airport. If you have an early morning flight, it will be a great choice. Unfortunately, the air-conditioner is not working very well. The room is quite hot.

Just completed a 3 day stay while in Lux on business. For me the hotel is in a great location - just 10 minutes from the Centre via the free buses. The stop is literally outside the hotel front door. The hotel was immaculately clean. My room was a really good size with everything you could need. Wifi connection was excellent. Final word is for the lovely people who work here - thank you! You could have not been more helpful or cheerful which is really appreciated. As a regular visitor to Lux and having stayed in many different hotels, this will be my choice of hotel going forward now!

Be careful not to get this one mixed up with the other central hotel in Luxembourg, this one is on Rue Du Kiem in Neudorf (short distance to Kirchberg). Yes, there were a few niggles here and there, but my general feelings about the Central were good. The room was nice and modern, the bed comfortable and the room quiet and a comfortable temperature. We visited in October and all was fine, however the hotel does not have any air conditioning, so in the summer months, things may be different. Located in Neudorf, just across the road from the Mercure and close to bus stops. The hotel does have its own basement car park (chargeable), but the buses are so good (and free in Luxembourg) that you can easily manage without a car. Having the small kitchen area with kettle, fridge and microwave was handy. Getting from the airport is easy with just one change at Cents Waassertuerm. Catch the 29 from stop 3 towards Hesperange, Cité Um Schlass (be careful as there are two 29 stops – one for each direction, off at Cents, Waassertuerm. Go to stop 4 and catch the 7 or 25 and get off at Huesegrënnchen. Hotel is just across the road.

arrivé à 23 passé l hôtesse d accueil m a dit qu’il a fini son service et qu’il va nous faire notre checkin vite fait !!! personnel manque du professionnalisme parle fort et rigole entre eux devant les clients ,9h du mat les femme de chambre font le souks devant les chambres. petit dej médiocre pour un hôtel 4 étoile peut de choix . Mauvaise expérience!!
