This hotel is absolutely 5 star and you will feel absolutely looked after from the moment you arrive until you leave. The whole hotel has been so well thought out and every sitting area gives you an absolute vista! It also has a spa and wellness centre with morning yoga, hydrotherapy pool and well equipped air-conditioned gym. Our highlight was Nadhin from the wellness centre who put together a special package of massages, hot oil treatment and extended yoga sessions leaving us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, like a total body reset and thoroughly recommend. A special thanks too to Joey of the watersports centre for personal tuition on how to windsurf! Overall, this hotel is about relaxing and you can easily do that, food at the 4 restaurant choices was great and the whole team will make you feel welcome. Most rooms have their own pools and we had the beach front upper level option and think this is the best room we have ever stayed in, like ever.

Ask about them when you come 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 - The network is excellent, but after 11 o'clock it broken. -so if you come in the winter, I advise you not to take a swimming pool because it is windy and you will not be able to swim in the cold. - 3 golf courses, there is a spa, 3 restaurants and 3 shops in the resort, as well as two large public swimming pools, room service 24 hours, a golf car is also available 24 hours and it is the one that takes you from your villa or apartment to restaurants and reception in the resort 👍🏻..

From the moment we entered until the very last second of our stay, everything was absolutely perfect. Each member of the staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The hotel offered a wide range of activities, so many that we couldn’t even experience them all in our time there. Despite this, we felt completely comfortable and relaxed, and most importantly, we had a fantastic time. The hotel manager was particularly thoughtful, checking in with us to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction and making sure we felt truly welcomed. The food was outstanding, with a diverse selection that catered to all tastes, and the room was simply amazing—spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. All in all, our stay was an unforgettable experience, and we look forward to returning in the future.

My and my boyfriend Harrison stayed at the Ravenala attitude hotel last week for 11 days we had the best holiday of our lives! Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful the rooms are huge and so picturesque the beds are so comfy! The food at the hotel buffet was the best I've experienced. The beach is stunning always enough beds , same with the pool. The evenings always had a great vibe with the live entertainment , the dance floor was always full of all ages. Our stay was made so special by the staff , every time we walked through the lobby they was always so nice and so attentive , every need was met and everyone we spoke to was lovely we want to especially thank Himansha, Hans , Linley and Ismail for going above and beyond for us! We celebrated both our birthdays at this resort we had surprise birthday cakes which we're delicious, rooms decorated and towards the end of the trip a room upgrade to the sea front suites which where incredible the views from these rooms are amazing plus you get your own beach front comfy beds ! If you want to stay at a hotel that is picture perfect with amazing food , great entertainment and to be surrounded by amazing people book this hotel!! Also I would say after travelling around the Island this location is great as it's close to grand baie and Port Louis which are such a good day / night out. First holiday I've cried at the airport not wanting to leave. Will 100% be returning!!

We stayed at Radisson Blu, Lafayette for six nights during our honeymoon, and it was a truly romantic and memorable experience. The location is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for a couples’ getaway. One of the highlights is the private beach, where we enjoyed swimming, snorkeling, and even a bit of lagoon fishing. The resort also has a well-maintained swimming pool, adding to the overall relaxing vibe. Our room was spacious, well-lit, and impeccably maintained, making our stay very comfortable. The food at the resort was good, with breakfast being a standout—it was always fresh and satisfying. As newlyweds, we were delighted by the thoughtful arrangements of sparkling wine and a candlelight dinner, which made our experience even more special. However, there are a few areas for improvement. While breakfast and dinner were enjoyable, the menu lacked variety, and the food quality was inconsistent at times. The resort’s remote location adds to its charm but also means that commuting anywhere requires a taxi, which can be a bit inconvenient. Additionally, some bathroom amenities were not replenished, and we had to request replacements. Overall, Radisson Blu, Lafayette is a great choice for a peaceful, romantic getaway with beautiful surroundings and thoughtful experiences for couples. With some improvements in food variety and service consistency, it could be truly exceptional.

The surroundings are safe and clean. Pool. The room has a TV and fridge.

Rats in restaurant On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice. We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food. The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for. Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience: - Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness - Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful - Rooms didn’t feel clean - Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast - Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it) We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

I cannot recommend Evazion enough. Since day 1 I was impressed by the warm welcome from Mr Laverdure and all the people who work there - the cleaners, the cooks, the helpers. At Evazion we felt like we were paying a visit to family members. Such was the hospitality of our host. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had an excellent dinner (fish curry, vegetables, faratas etc) and breakfast (crepe, egg, fruits, gato pimen, gato banane etc) in the package. I had one of my best weekend since a long time. I spent quality time in nature kayaking, dozing on the hammock or trekking to Beau Champs waterfall. I look forward to my next visit at Evazion!
