We chose to come here for our honeymoon. There are many plants on the island, the water is very clear, the lagoon is beautiful, the island is not big or small, and there are many things to do. There are many restaurant options to meet people's different dietary needs, and Ralu is the best restaurant. The wine in the bar is fun and of good quality, and you can drink it until 24:00 every day. Our butler is Hilmee. He is very attentive. He helped us book all the activities as soon as we arrived on the island. He reminds us every morning what activities we have on the day. When we need to take a car, he always picks us up on time. Had an unforgettable honeymoon on the island.

We stayed here as a couple in November, in beach villa 309. This place is absolutely stunning. Just outside the villa there is a break in the rocks so you can snorkel out to the reef. Villa was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The island itself is well maintained, spotless everywhere. We spent time at the pool as well as the villa as it was a bit cooler by the pool. Great vibe with a couple of hours music by DJ Kesh over lunchtime. Our favourite restaurant was Faru and many thanks to Vera and Laamiu for making our visits special. Food was spectacular here. We enjoyed the food in all the restaurants and dined around the al la cartes during our 7 night stay. Coffee shop is a nice touch for a coffee and cake during the day. Lunch in the buffet was varied and good quality. We spent most evenings in haali bar as it’s close to the villa. I can’t remember the names of the 2 barmen but they made us feel very welcome! The friendliness of the staff is a credit to this island, a hello from everyone whatever they were doing. Thanks to our housekeeper for keeping the villa lovely. Dolphin cruise was a highlight of our stay, brilliant to see dolphins in their natural habitat. This was our first visit to the Maldives and it didn’t disappoint, everything was just perfect. I can’t recommend Dhigali enough it is absolute paradise. I hope we get a chance to return someday.

The Island, the beach and the water is wonderful. But that´s it. The Resort is horrible and you will not get the feeling of ”to being on Maldives” The hotel doesn´t justify the price. It was our second time on Maldives and the prior one was much much much better. The service of the staff is very poor. Also the Meals are not in very high quality and the variation was not so big. The staff in the restaurant was not friendly and I had to run after the staff to order any drinks. The complex and the Villa is very old and you can see that the buildings are in need of renovation. It was a big disappointment for us and we could only blandish the trip that the beach was nice.

First i have to say that the resort is very well maintained by the ladies who clean the public paths and surrounding areas, out every day with a smile for everyone when you chose to say hello. We stayed in a beach bungalow with a private pool, the pool was larger than expected and was checked daily by the pool guy. The patio furniture was slightly weathered but was functional. the room was spacious but the furniture was in need of updating. Our room guy was exceptional and cleaned the room daily even after we had had the do not disturb sign up on the door. We are used to evening entertainment in the Maldives being quite relaxed and laid back however three nights out of our 14 night stay insulted our intelligence. 1. Ladies night; to play a video of random females singing is not entertainment. 2. Reggie night; again a video of random singers in not entertainment. On both nights a DJ playing music (and speaking) would have been much better. 3. the biggest insult was the Balinese evening! which was nothing more than a 45 minute advertisement for the Spa and boutique. there was a dance but having holidayed in Bali, this was not a Balinese dance we recognised. The food was very good and had a different theme each evening, along with a pasta cooking station if you could not find a dish that suited. Finally the staff on the resort are amazing, with a special shout out going to the porters. my wife needs a wheel chair to get around but this island has deep sand in places which made the chair impossible to push. the porters would collect us from our room to take us to the bar or the restaurant and back again on a specially designed tricycle always with a smile and helping hand when required. A special mention also to the dive centre and staff, very well run and professional centre. We still rate our time on the resort as 8/10 just improve the ”entertainment” and this is a 10/10 resort

The team of around 400 employees at Joali Being know what you need almost before you know yourself and have everything in place for a transformational stay. Do as much or as little as you like at Joali Being, there is no judgement. Most of the facilities are hidden away beyond lush vegetation and unless you take a leap of faith and explore them, you won't know what you are missing out on. The most incredible gym and spa /treatment facilities I have ever seen in a resort, never mind an island resort.. and having experienced one of the specialty four pillar signature massages myself, I can tell you that you won't regret the decision to indulge as much as you can. Joali Being is a wonderful family friendly luxury resort, complete with a new kids club that any adult would happily want to stay in. If you are chasing a culinary experience , Joali Being can fulfill this need as well. The food was of the highest standard - using the freshest of ingredients and presented with incredible passion and finesse. You 'feel' the Joali difference the moment you step onto the island, and you won't want to leave.

My sister and I visited The Standard Maldives and stayed in the water Villa facing the sunset and it was one of the best thing ever! The resort itself is extremely beautiful located in a beautiful and clean island. Very tranquil and peaceful! Not to forget the staffs are so friendly felt like family.Our host was Shaan, who is super friendly, accommodating, and organized everything for us neatly, you are the best! A lot of the staff in the resort were very friendly and have wonderful smiles, including Abaan, who was our buggy driver, felt like a real wildlife safari ride, he showed us sharks, rays, bird nests the baby birds were so cute. made a memorable experience. would definitely recommend this resort. and would love to come back someday.

The experience at the Maldives Emerald Resort was truly fantastic. In particular, Mr. Ramses' kind and always smiling face made our trip even more special. We were able to have a very satisfying time thanks to his excellent service and careful consideration.
