PPengguna TetamuWe had a perfect time at Eaglebay Retreat. It’s truly an undisturbed paradise. You have an entire house and hundreds of meters of coastline all to yourself. Every morning, you can wake up in the sunshine and decide whether to go snorkeling or just relax in the sun—you have the choice. The sunsets were always perfect, and experiencing them on a paddleboard is far better than being in a crowded place like KK.
At the same time, the retreat offers a wide range of activities that are both rich and reasonably priced—paddleboarding, jet skiing, kayaking, and more, so you’ll never feel bored.
During our stay, Arlyn and h is family provided us with everything we needed: they inflated our paddleboards, helped us arrange sea activities, climbed trees to pick coconuts for us, and prepared delicious meals. Whenever we needed them, they were always available, without intruding on our privacy. Their presence was always perfectly balanced.
I would also like to thank Faizal, who did a lot of work before our arrival, and Jamri, the kind lady who helped us recover our lost Apple Pencil during our stay. She assisted in finding it, came up with several ways to return it (considering Eaglebay Retreat’s remote location), and finally delivered it to my friend personally, asking for nothing in return. Your kindness will be remembered.
Yes, I think we would definitely recommend this place to our friends, and we will visit Eaglebay again in the future.

Located on the best beach in Borneo. Forget about KK, if you want to have the best borneo experience, drive to this place (if possible). Private pool on your villa, 45 seconds walk to the beach, the sunset view is way better than the one in Tanjung Aru Beach.

PPengguna TetamuThis is one accommodation that my research doesn't prepare me for what to expect. My first impression was that the place catered to foreign tourists only. As they had yet to return after the lifting of Covid restrictions, the facilities and service had been allowed to deteriorate. Which was a pity as I liked the views of sunrise from this property. So, here are the minuses: 1. Lots of flies and mosquitoes throughout the day 2. Too far from anywhere, even the beach, which was across the road and didn't appear suitable for swimming. To go anywhere, expect to pay for a round trip of at least RM40 which is to town. Diyana, the manager, offered to arrange for takeaway meals with a payment of about RM10. 3. Private car transport from /to KK cost RM300, rather expensive compared to catching a taxi from Kudat town. 4. Overall, facilities and service were spartan. I'd hoped that breakfast would include local fruit at least. Many guests would not be used to the no-toilet tissue paper practice. The front door needed TLC - the concern was entry of mosquitoes, although netting over the bed was provided. I would not recommend my friends to stay here.

PPengguna TetamuThe location of this home stay is absolutely first class. It has excellent view, especially for sunrise. IT’s environment is quiet and relaxing. It is definitely for easy holidays goers, especially for family. Friendly reception and staff. The short coming is the restaurant that only open from Thursday to Sunday and only catering breakfast when you have a ten pax staying. Sound odd, but this fact made much inconvenient for visitors that have no transportation. They have interesting amenities such as beach buggies, but visitors need to find out from the reception or when you check in.

Hotel ini menepati namanya dengan kakitangan yang ramah, dari penerimaan tetamu ke penjaga pintu kepada pembersih bilik. Hotel ini kelihatan baru kepada saya dan sangat bersih. Terdapat cawan mee segera dipamerkan di kaunter penerimaan tetamu supaya anda boleh membelinya jika lapar pada waktu tengah hari. Bilik ini mempunyai cerek elektrik, 2 cawan kopi, pek kopi 2 botol air mineral tetapi tiada peti sejuk mini. Bilik mandi bersih dengan berus gigi boleh buang, sabun mini, dan lain-lain. Terdapat rak mudah untuk anda meletakkan barang anda. Biliknya tidaklah besar sangat tetapi cukup untuk 2 orang tetamu

Cuma keadaan bilik yg mungkin agak lama, d hut yg pertama kami stay aircond dia ada masalah, nda sejuk. Dan ada bau taik tikus yg mnunjukkn hut tu lama ndada pnghuni.
Tapi kami dipindahkn ke hut lain yg less bau taik tikus dan more clean cuma bahagian tandas ada crak d lantai.
Kedudukan hut pula bdekatan dgn hutan. Yg mana d bahagian tu ada dua famly saja trmasuk kami. So agak scary juga la. Klu hut yg berdekatan dgn tmpt loading barang itu tiada masalah sbb ramai org.
Cuma new year experience best sbb ada firework.
Bagi yg mau stay sini, better cukupkn jajan sbb no restaurant. Breakfast or lunch delivery to hut dan cuma ada 3 menu shj.
