The hotel itself is nice, the location is beautiful, the scenery is top notch. This review is focused towards the staff of this location. The front desk, the kitchen, the service staff. The hospitality I received from the staff during my stay was beyond any that I have ever received in the countless hotels that I've stayed in this world. The understanding and care speaks volumes to the Dutch people or just the people of this staff. I wish I had the means to show my appreciation to you all with more than kind words. Thank you for listening, thank you for caring. Don't let my decision change who you all are.

Bij aankomst ontzettend vriendelijk verwelkomd. Gezellige en gemoedelijke sfeer en de inrichting van restaurant en lounge doet chique aan. De kamer was ruim. Superschoon. Heerlijke bedden en een lekkere douche. Het eten in het restaurant was prima. Ook daar vriendelijke bediening. Ontbijtbuffet, na een baantjes te hebben getrokken in het zwembad, was een goed begin van de dag. De voorkant van het hotel zou van mij een opknapbeurtje mogen hebben.

BREAKFAST I stayed here while cycling on the Ronde Van Nederland. I stayed in a mixture of hotels and this was by far the best on my 8 day cycle challenge. However, I wish to specifically highlight the Breakfast and the Breakfast chef. I requested an early breakfast and the buffet range and quality was outstanding. Breakfast chef was so very friendly and helpful. My only other observation is that I found it very strange that the door to the guest rooms was locked - yes locked until 7am

Voor de 2e keer hier een driedaags wildarrangement geboekt. Prachtig gelegen hotel aan een bosrand. We boekten weer een tuinkamer, gelegen aan de rustige achterkant met uitzicht op her bos. Piekfijne, schone kamer met een goed bed, koffiemachine en waterkoker, zitje en een fijne badkamer met een apart bad en (regen)douche. Goed ontbijt, maar we misten wel de gebakken bacon. Het lekkere zelf te snijden brood zorgt voor compensatie. Het 4-gangen wilddiner is een heerlijke verrassing, we hebben genoten. Helaas bleek op de 2e dag een grote bridgeclub te zijn aangekomen. Aan elkaar geschoven lange tafels voor het diner voor de hele groep. Op zich geen enkel probleem, maar tijdens ons diner vertrok de hele groep 'en masse' uit het restaurant, waarna het bediend personeel met veel rumoer alle tafels en stoelen gingen verschuiven. Op de tafels groene kleden om wedstrijdtafels te creëren. Wederom 'en masse' kwam de hele groep terug in het restaurant, terwijl wij samen met de overige 3 stellen gasten van ons diner zaten te genieten. Deze gebeurtenis gaf toch wel een behoorlijke smet op ons verblijf. Als toetje om 24.00 uur rumoer in de gang en slaande deuren toen de hele groep klaar was. Jammer! Maar ondanks alles komen we best nog een keer terug, maar misschien eerst navraag doen?
