Hotel terbaik di Barendrecht

First of all the Hotel was on an Industrial Estate which we didn't expect from the photos. The service at reception was good but it went hill from there. The room was dusty everywhere and there was hair on the duvet. The pillow was awful and lumpy. On checking it the pillow had no pillow protector on and it was badly stained so my husband phoned down to reception and got me a brand new pillow. The breakfast in the morning was not the greatest and we were surprised that you couldn't even make toast. To make matters worse this hotel was more expensive than the hotels we normally stay in as it looked nice on the website. Very disappointing stay.

I stayed on the 8th floor of this newly built,lovely modern hotel. My room overlooked the lake and parkland, and I was greeted by a sunrise each morning. The room has a comfy double bed that has a plug socket either side. There is a decent sized flat screen tv on the wall at the end of the bed. Tea and coffee are also supplied along with a small kettle. There was a single chair by the window, along with a table and a quirky giant tortoise stool. The bathroom offers a spacious walk in shower and a simple but modern sink and toilet. I wasn’t able to heat the room to my desired comfort level but I was happy with the ambient temperature with the air conditioning turned off. If you pay for breakfast, it offers a good selection, comprising of cakes and pastries, various breads, cooked meats, cheese slices, humous, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and hard boiled eggs. Tea and coffee along with various fruit juices are on offer also. The reception has a small selection of food and drink for sale. These items include fancy crisps and biscuits and a fridge with both alcoholic beverages and refreshments. All the staff were friendly and made my stay a comfortable one. If you are attending the Ahoy arena for any event, this hotel is right on your doorstep!

The room was very nice, vibrant colors, bed was awesome, all very clean. But the big mistake they made with the renovation were the doors. They slam with a very big bang, so when anyone else on the floor enters the room, it all shakes. And then they are not isolated, you can understand discussions happening outside the room. And then, for the breakfast, dinner, lunch: only christmas music. But of the worst kind. There is no place in the region to escape this in the morning, so you have to deal with the christmas music. And for 17 euro's, it's not even worth actually what you get after your ears are in pain with ”jolly happy christmas” three times during breakfast.

Net hotel en nette kamer. Tips: we konden 's ochtends niet meer in de kamer. Dat zou komen doordat mensen het kaartje bij de telefoon stoppen en daardoor leeg gemaakt wordt. Goed om mee te delen bij inchecken dus. Waarom is de bar op vrijdagavond maar tot 23.30u open? Niet fijn als je na bezoek aan concert in Ahoy rond half 12 of later in het hotel terug komt. Veel stellen kwamen zich dus voor niets melden aan de bar en konden gelijk naar bed. Niet echt klantvriendelijk en komt beleving niet ten goede. Jammer!

Zeer net en ruim opgezet hotel met voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Schone kamers, niet super de luxe; maar van alle gemakken voorzien je kunt een bakje koffie of thee op de kamer klaarmaken en met fijne bedden (1102). Vriendelijk en behulpzaam, Nederlands sprekend, personeel. Je kunt tot 23.45 nog een drankje bestellen in de lounge, mocht je dat willen. Het ontbijtbuffet is behoorlijk uitgebreid met diverse broodjes (hard/zacht/hartig/zoet), English breakfast, verschillende soorten yoghurt, fruit en beleg en american pancakes en een grote diversiteit aan warme en koude dranken. Er loopt voldoende, vriendelijk personeel rond waardoor je je erg welkom voelt. Wat helaas, vooral voor onze kinderen, erg vervelend was, was dat er een mevrouw in het hotel verbleef die nare en beledigende dingen naar ons riep toen wij na het ontbijt terug gingen naar onze hotelkamer. Het kwam op ons over alsof zij behoorlijk onder invloed was van iets; ze liep/ danste intimiderend in de foyer rond in haar badjas en met een handdoek om haar haar gebonden alsof ze de hele nacht al sinds de avond ervoor onderweg was naar de badkamer. Ze lachte onze zoon uit toen hij bijna tussen de liftdeur kwam wat voor hem echt heel vervelend was. Voor een net hotel als dit was dat wel een afknapper na zo'n geweldig ontbijt en verblijf. Als ik de eigenaar was had ik haar eruit gezet. Wat ook jammer was, waren de omgevingsgeluiden. Rondom het hotel is men bezig met werkzaamheden waardoor je (zelfs op de 11e verdieping) vroeg gewekt wordt door vrachtwagens die af en aan rijden.
