I stayed at this hotel for one night before an early morning flight the next day. Although the web description mentioned waffles in the afternoon and an evening meal, the waffles machine was allegedly broken and the evening meal consisted of soup only. The room was dark, without ceiling light, and a constant noise of the air conditioner that could not be turned off. When I went to the reception to check out the next morning, no one was there. I had to wait until a cleaner appeared and called the reception staff from somewhere in the back. The take-away breakfast I had requested since I had to leave early consisted of a sandwich only -- but I was charged for the full buffet breakfast.

Consistently friendly staff, every time. Always a fabulous breakfast - a tiny bit downscaled since I last stayed here about six months ago, but it still is the best in Bodø. Rooms have great amenities. I stay here regularly and it never disappoints. I used to stay at the Radisson but began staying at this hotel a couple of years ago when the Radisson started requiring multiple-night stays. Am I glad I checked out this hotel! My experiences here led me to try other Thon properties. I Highly recommend Thon Nordlys. The front desk staff are all exceptional

The hotel room was clean and pretty. One of the receptionist was very friendly and helped me plan some of my norway trip. He lives in Bodo and had traveled all over norway himself so He knew lots of helpful tips. definitely getting bang for your money here

Very clean. Excellent location. Even though it is on a main street near the harbor, it is very quiet. Heavy doors and windows which do not allow sound. Full length large black out curtains. Helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were bigger than i expected with seating area and table. You could walk to the ferry or airport (doable but check distances ). Recommend.

The enterance is not the best, through a shopping mall. Carpet is old, and should have bin replaced. There should be more than one person in the reseption. Too long time checkin, and other. Bedroom was a little short. I had almost to crowle over bed to get to the desk. But Refrigerator in the room coms very handy.

This hotel is direct in centre of Bodo. Close to ferry to Lofoten, and bus station.
It's really clean and new.
Rooms are really comfortable. The breakfast is really, really good- it has everything you could want! And caters for vegetarian/ vegan/ glutenfree/ lactose free- really all! It's a cash free hotel. I really recommend.

As usual we had our relaxed evening with a massage at the co-located 7. Himmel and a nice meal at a nearby restaurant. Even though we live in Bodø staying at Ramsalt for the night always give that little extra to a couples evening like this. Cosy reception, great breakfast and very nice rooms with great view to the harbor and the passing ferrys. Highly recommended.

A Twin room for a good price. Breakfast was amazing and the hotel is located close to everything you need. Trainstation, supermarket, restaurants and bars and since Bøde isn’t that big. You’ll be on a hiking trail before you know.
