Just realised I forgot to give a review last year . We stayed at Settlers for a few days at the beginning and end of our holiday last year and have stayed at this excellent motel before . It offers a lovely spacious and relaxing place to unwind . There are many homely touches . The owners are friendly, engaging and endeavour to make everyone’s stay thoroughly enjoyable. We are cat lovers so particularly enjoyed the visits of Charlie their cat. We have every intention of staying at Settlers when next in Arrowtown.

A comfy pub with a spacious dining room and North facing balcony, this unpretentious hotel serves good country fare. The roast lamb was so soft and generous in size with Harvey mint sauce and all the trimmings. Staff are great and a range of local wines and beers are served. A good option when you are “over” restaurant food

We have spent 2 weeks travelling around South Island. This was one of the most excellent parks we have stayed in. We met a wonderfully helpful lady from York on arrival. She was most pleasant, informative and helpful as we checked in. We asked to move pitch to a sunnier spot, again no problem. The park and facilities were spotlessly clean and well laid out. The dump station was the best we’ve seen. The park is an 8 minute walk to a small town with old world charm. We would highly recommend this campsite and town for a visit. Jim & Pauline Ireland

Really lovely homestay boutique hotel. Room was lovely and spacious with great attention to detail. Bathroom and amenities are great. Breakfast and staff are lovely and although more expensive than some hotels it is easy to see why. Would love to stay again.

On 29th January 2024 I booked two nights accommodation for 25th and 26th February 2024 on their own website and received a confirmation email. On 24th February I received a reservation reminder from them confirming all still booked for the next day. We turned up on 25th Feb to be told by the receptionist the booking had been cancelled. She couldn't tell me who cancelled it but it sure wasn't us. She kept going on about *********** but it wasn't booked through them and she just wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. She also had the audacity to try and put the blame on me saying I should have rung a couple of days before to confirm the booking. Why would I when I had received confirmation by email the previous day? Trying to find alternative accommodation is Arrowtown is near impossible as a walk in. I was going to let this slide but because I received an email from them asking how my stay was and to leave a review, rubbed salt into the wound, I decided to share my experience.

Shades of Arrowtown, are beautifully maintained accommodation just a short walk from Arrowtowns main street. The owners are lovely, who make you feel at home. Arriving to a warm room with the electric blanket on was very welcoming after a long flight. Milk provided in a glass reusable bottle was a great touch.

已經關住這個度假村很久了，這次終於有機會到訪。約3000畝的一個度假村，四周被雪山環抱，景色宜人，建築呈日式和西洋風格。有大片的高爾夫球場，想休閑的值得光顧。如果有中餐服務就太好了。

What a beautiful location, we had a large family trip to Queenstown for the weekend & had the entire lodge to ourselves and it was absolutely perfect!! We didn’t want to leave, the owners were friendly & accomodating, it was so lovely and warm, fantastic spa, comfortable beds & the grounds were just stunning!! The main house was awesome for all of our family gatherings over the weekend with the pool table & roaring fire it was so lovely! The only small thing I would change would be an update of some of the furniture, we stayed in the large studio & the couches were a bit out of place looking in such a stunning location! With a little bit of an update here and there it would be PERFECT! But it was such a fantastic stay that, that was such a minor detail. Thank you so much couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Historic Arrowtown Chinese Settlement
DD了个YAn early Chinese worker's settlement in Arrow Town, New Zealand, called the Gold Rush, was in the middle of the last century when a European found gold by the Arrow River, and a large number of gold miners poured in to build the town by the Arrow River, and four years later Chinese laborers continued. Come here to join the gold rush and establish independent settlements, which is now the Chinese settlements we see, most of the Chinese workers were alone, adhering to the spirit of Chinese people not afraid of suffering, not afraid of tiredness, and adhering to their nationalities, naturally forming a self-sufficiency. By the 1870s, there were about 5,000 Chinese workers living in the Otago area in southern New Zealand. I thought New Zealand was a natural landscape country looking at the scenery. Arrow River

As gold miners found the first gold in the Arrow River Valley in the 1860s, Arrow River gradually became one of the most abundant sand gold rivers in the world. A large number of gold miners flocked to settle here, named after the river, with the town of Arrow and gradually flourishing. The drying of gold sands and the fading of the gold rush left behind the decaying town and the ecologically damaged Arrow River. Until the rise of the tourism fever, vigorously restore vegetation and protect the ecology, the Arrow River has today's charming scenery, the river is clear, crystal clear, trees, flowers blooming. To visit Jianzhen, you must go to the Jianhe River on the north side of the town to see, walk along the river trail, stroll in the citizen park, the mountains and clear waters will bring you a refreshing and happy.
