This is a clean and comfortable motel within walking distance of everything in Hokitika including the local pool which was excellent. Our 2 bedroom room had a separate bedroom but that meant there was a large bed in the living room area which we could have done without. There is a separate laundry area but you do have to pay to use it.

On our road trip round South Island, we decided to stop over in Hokitika. We found this lovely hotel away from the town nestled in woodland. A very tranquil place with local birdlife and great views. The owners Frazer and Anne were very warm and welcoming and the property was immaculate and well appointed. Breakfast was beautifully cooked with fresh eggs from their chickens and homemade sour dough toast and yoghurt. Would thoroughly recommend a stay.

從基督城到Greymouth這段的自駕，一直開到很晚，又去了附近駕車1小時的Pancake rock，west piont, 看了下住宿這間比較符合我們的要求，於是決定再多開一段路去Hokkitika，到酒店的時候已經11點多，電話給工作人員説把鑰匙直接放在房間裏，這是一個家庭套房，有2個房間，因為訂的一室一廳，所以另外一個雙床房間就沒使用。
Hokkitika有個Glow warm的點，因為到的太晚就沒有去。
房間客廳寬敞，可以連APP投屏，餐桌上無線充電器，衞生間比較大，床又意外的很乾凈舒適，早上起來看着外面的太陽，窗外是當地居民的🏠，感覺好像就住在小鎮上，獨特美好的回憶。大早上出門大家都自行把🔑放在Office的桌子，總體來説印象很好。推薦！！

We stayed here in a 2 bdm with another couple for 3 nights whilst doing the West Coast Wilderness Trail and it was great! Worked well for the 4 of us, clean, roomy and nice to be able to prepare food etc in the kitchen and really helpful being able to use the laundry each day (for a fee) for our biking gear. Karen was lovely to deal with. We left our bikes at Wilderness Trail Shuttle premises each night as we had a car and that worked out well.

Liked · A nice spacious 2 Bedroom apartment with all the trimmings, including a seat 6 Dining Room Table. With a Queen Size Bed & Single Bed in each bedroom there is a host of sleeping options if you bring the Family Tribe with you, otherwise it's a take your pick of a bed. The Bathroom is BIG with a cubicle Shower Unit, personally I found the cubicle shower a wee bit small for washing all parts a Man has to wash BUT the wife thought it fine, maybe I should just lose some weight. Parking was right at your Unit's front door so there was no lugging of bags up stairs or any nearby distance. Disliked · The Wi-Fi was not up to scratch for a supposed leading Motel. The Internet would either drop-out completely or annoyingly just cut in & out. A person travelling for work or in the case of my wife (who is a School Principal & is always on the computer) may well have lost valuable data & work notes. As for me being a Recreational Punter who loves nothing better than relaxing with a beer & having a few TAB punts on the Internet, it was a nightmare.

The motel is tucked away in a residential area away from all the others on the main drag (which is why we chose it), and it turned out to be a gem. Very clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped, it proved very comfortable for the two nights we stayed here. Our room had a spa bath which we didn't have the chance to use, but we appreciated the extra space in the bathroom! The staff were welcoming and cheerful, and the guest laundry was put to good use. We would be very happy to stay here again if our travels bring us back to Hokitika (which we have now learned how to pronounce properly!)

Absolutely brilliant and absolute beachfront. Don't believe the BS reviews saying places like Stopforths are 10/10. If you want to be on the beach this place is brilliant. Huge modern rooms, friendly and helpful staff too. Easy parking and NW Supermarket is across the road. Not sure how other properties in Hokitika rate so highly. We've stayed at most and nothing comes close to this place backed on location and price.

We stayed in an “A” frame cabin. It was short walk to the beach for sunset and across the road to see glow worms. Plenty of green space. Cute animals with clever write up in cabin information book. Could have easily spent another day here in Hoikitika

旅旅の径Without a photo with the floating wood decoration "HOKITIKA", it is equivalent to not been to Hokitika, not to the west coast of the South Island. The Hokitika tourism brochure compiled by the New Zealand Tourism Bureau, the home page picture is the sunset accompanied by the photo of "HOKIDIKA". A 3-minute walk west from the town's bell tower, through a small gateway, Hokitika Beach is in front of you, the whirring sea breeze, the waves, slapping the black stone beach. The floating wood decoration and the stone green sofa not far from the beach are the most eye-catching objects, tourists often consciously queued to punch in. The preference of small town residents for floating wood "HOKIDIKA" is almost persistent, whenever the wind destroys the decoration of the local or even all, no more than 24 hours, must be renovated with floating wood dead branches available on the beach.
