PPengguna TetamuI must say that from the first contact with the reception, everything went wrong. When we arrived, they didn't even welcome us. A blonde receptionist, who looked like she didn't feel like working, was the one who checked us in with a very bad tone. 1. Without prior warning, she made us pay directly for the car park, without asking us beforehand if we wanted to leave the motorbike in the car park for 20€ per day (we would not have paid for it as we could do it for free in the surrounding area). 2. Before booking, we asked if the dinner was buffet, menu or a la carte and the reception answered that it was a la carte. When we arrived at the hotel, every day it was basically a menu with a choice of two dishes (vegan dishes did not interest us). We were very annoyed by the false information. If we had known this, we would have taken breakfast only 3. During the booking, we ordered a bottle of sparkling wine which we asked to be in the room at the day of arrival. They didn't prepare it and I couldn't surprise my husband (however, they offered us 2 massages afterwards, which I appreciated). The truth is that the hotel is very nice, but the reception staff is not very well prepared. If you don't want to work, resign, but don't offer a bad experience to the guests because thanks to that, all my stay I had a bad feeling about the hotel and this will surely happen with other guests too. I am a hotel receptionist too and I know what I am talking about. Sometimes we have difficult days, but the blonde girl didn't seem to have a difficult day, she just doesn't want to work and that is reflected in bad service. We certainly won't be back.
I really enjoyed my stay at Lake Hill with my family. Unfortunately, the weather didn't work out too well for us, but that doesn't change the fact, that the stay itself was nice. I don't understand some of the reviews here. Some people would rather have caviar and a red carpet, or I don't know. Don't be discouraged. The place is really nice, with lots of activities, good food, excellent wellness services, beautiful and clean accommodation (modern). A place for couples but also families with children. A beautiful playground is also available. I can definitely RECOMMEND it for myself and my family. Excellent rest! :) Thank you! Best regards, Veronika from Czechia
WARNING: Tempted by a holiday offer, I booked a package for a week at the Kyriad Karkonosze hotel for a family of 4 in a superior room as shown in the image below (2 single beds and a double sofa bed). Upon arrival, it turned out that we were accommodated in a 3-person room (2 single beds and one single sofa bed). In addition, there were only 3 sets of bed linen and 3 sets of towels prepared in the room. Furthermore, it turned out that the room presented on the Kyriad Karkonosze booking page is not a superior room at all (!). Since it turned out that there was not enough sleeping space for one person after our arrival, we filed a complaint. Unfortunately, the hotel staff refused to refund the reservation (over 1300 PLN). Therefore, please be careful when booking any room at Kyriad Karkonosze and make sure you have 100% guaranteed the appropriate number of sleeping places - do not rely on the photos on the website, as you may be greatly disappointed on site, as happened to us, which I wish on no one. Below I present photos of the room, which, as it turns out, is incorrectly marked as superior on the Kyriad Karkonosze hotel booking website. Ladies and gentlemen, this is not what a superior room looks like, as admitted by the hotel staff. Why then does the hotel mislead its potential customers by presenting a 4-person room for sale, and selling a 3-person room in reality?
